this is dustin john higgs.

in 1996, he was convicted of kidnapping and murdering three women and was sentenced to death.

this conviction is entirely false. he didn’t murder anybody.

he has been found not guilty of the crime. at this point, the only reason he remains in jail is because he was at the scene of the crime. the court also claims that he bullied willis hayes, the man who actually did murder the three women, into killing them. however, willis hayes has come forward and has admitted that dustin DID NOT commit the crime, and he’s also even confessed that dustin never bullied him into murdering the trio of women. but the court won’t accept it.

DUSTIN JOHN HIGGS IS SCHEDULED TO BE EXECUTED ON JANUARY 15, 2021. HE IS GOING TO BE EXECUTED FOR A CRIME HE DID NOT COMMIT AT ALL. WE CAN’T LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN.

this pride month, please please please do not let the black lives matter movement go ignored. the lgbtq movement owes so much to black members of our community. we are not free until all of us are.

what is happening now is change in action. if you care about activism, and you should, you know that blm deserves to be seen, their voices to be heard.

pride matters, and we should still celebrate, still fight, still demand our place in the world. but black and indigenous people need our support right now. cops are not our friends. oppression is never okay. privilege is never comfortable. if you are white or non-black, refuse to let support for blm die down.

this pride, let’s fight for each other. demand spaces for lgbtq people of colour. let their voices be heard. listen.

Since I see this word thrown around causally on here, this is a reminder that the Darkling does not commit genocide. He’s a mass murderer, but genocide has a specific meaning.

Criticise him for what he does - murdering civilians, mutilating Genya, assaulting Alina, but don’t call him genocidal.

As we go into pride month, we need to remember and fight for all marginalised groups in the world. Especially those who are not just the minority but also being threatened and attacked daily.
