Your Attention Is Your Energy

Sadly, most of us have been reduced to ‘attention-starved individuals’ that parade our lives on social media platforms for the battle of recognition, status, respect and external validation - our photos, personal stories, emails, comments, memes, notifications, song choices, status, relationships, accomplishments, sexuality and all the rest.  We are driven by a power beyond our conscious actions.  Our attention gets constantly pulled in, hacked and manipulated by third-party advertising companies that monitor and program largely what we buy and do daily (algorithms/systematic behavioral modification). These companies need us to their apps glued or they don’t make money. Your attention is energy and currency.

Yet, our authentic self gets covered over (replaced by a false, socially engineered image) as if we are too afraid to bear the thought of what others might think or say about us.  Most of the social media applications that we immerse ourselves into are by design to be addictive: this is society's new substance abuse problem (the digital pacifier/slot machine). The more complicit we are to this augmented reality (modern day, technological Plato's Cave), the more we seek out external stimulation to tell us how to think, feel, behave and what to consume (WW1, WW2, WWW.).

Each and everyone of us are unique expressions of Source Awareness and we all wield its creative potential because WE ARE IT.  The only thing that limits and compromises our authentic selves is giving away our unlimited power over to self-limiting, programmed identities, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors that take us out of the present.
