fast messy little thing about teenage insecurity that I just wanted to scribble out cause it was on my mind for some reason. (be kind to people because you never know how your words might impact them!) To everyone else who’s ever hated their appearance (which let’s be real, is probably everyone reading this right now), I feel you. there’s good days and bad days but hopefully more good than bad. have a great night! best, Kat

Posting about Palestine on social media is generally different and more important than posting about other human rights issues because in this case, social media is the only vessel for spreading awareness about it. Main media and news outlets are not covering it. Or when they do, it is from a bias and unfair lens. We are being filtered and blocked.
Social media is currently the only vessel to spread the word. And maybe if we're loud enough on social media, main news media outlets will no longer be able to ignore us.
The first step to Palestinian liberation is to educate and raise awareness to the reality of their occupation and apartheid.
Please don't stop posting, don't stop protesting, don't stop educating. It really is making a difference even when it doesn't feel like it's enough.
Social media is where we are fighting our first battle.
