After getting hurt by human interactions
💗🍰THE WATCHMAN AND THE CAPTAIN🍰💗
🍰The conscious and subconscious are not two minds , they are merely two spheres of activity within one mind. Your conscious mind is the reasoning or logical mind . The conscious mind has the the choice to choose. For example , you choose your home , books etc . You make all your decisions with your conscious mind.
💗Without any conscious choice on your part ,your heart is kept functionally automatically and the vital function of digestion , circulation and breathing are carried out by subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind accepts what is impressed upon it or what you consciously believe.
🍰Think of your conscious mind as the WATCHMAN at the gate. The chief function of your conscious mind is to protect your subconscious from false impressions . Your subconscious mind accepts everything and it does not have a choice to reject , it must accept your suggestions. You are like a CAPTAIN navigating a ship . The CAPTAIN must give the right orders and likewise , you must give the right orders i.e. right thoughts and images to your subconscious mind , which controls and governs all your experiences.
💗Be very careful to give your subconscious only those suggestions that heal , bless , elevate and inspire you in all your ways.
🍰Realize that you have the power to choose. Choose healthy and happiness. You can choose to be friendly or unfriendly. Choose to be joyous , co-operative , friendly , loveable and whole world will respond. Choose life ! Choose love ! Choose health ! Choose happiness !
सब चाँद-तारे ला रहे हैं...
तुम पायल, चूड़ियाँ, झुमके और गजरा ले आना....
ऐसे वादे करें जिन्हें आप पूरा कर सकें
Wine, charity, revenge
I don't know how that works
Or maybe, just maybe I'll actually be a sister of Persephone

'pretty privilege' is the idea that people who are perceived as more attractive often receive more opportunities, attention, and rewards compared to those who are considered less attractive. this concept is not limited to social settings but also especially extends to (in) academic environments.
in academia, research has shown that physically attractive students tend to receive higher grades because they are perceived as more intelligent, even when their actual performance does not differ significantly from their less attractive peers. this bias can affect everything from classroom interactions to evaluations and recommendations, potentially influencing a student's academic trajectory.
the underlying reason for this phenomenon is the "physical attractiveness stereotype," which assumes that attractive individuals possess positive qualities such as intelligence, sociability, and competence. it leads to preferential treatment and better opportunities for those who are deemed attractive.
it's important to be aware of this bias and strive to treat everyone fairly, regardless of their appearance. while we can't always control how others perceive us, we can make a conscious effort to judge people based on their abilities and contributions rather than their looks.
now, there is no benefit in ignoring it - because it simply will always exist. instead, you can choose to take advantage of it.
why people take advantage of pretty privilege:
increased opportunities: leveraging your attractiveness can open doors to more opportunities that might not be as easily accessible otherwise.
positive perceptions: attractive individuals are often perceived more favorably, which can lead to better treatment and more support from your peers and instructors.
enhanced confidence: knowing that you are perceived positively can boost your confidence, making you more likely to engage and participate actively in academic settings.
competitive edge: in highly competitive environments, any advantage can make a significant difference. taking advantage of pretty privilege can provide an edge over others.
but you should never only rely on your appearance to get you further in life - it is only to play the same game.
if you're interested in enhancing your appearance, here are some tips to help you feel more confident and attractive. it's important to remember that beauty is subjective and varies from person to person, and self-confidence plays a significant role in how others perceive you.
skincare: have a daily routine (cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin. remember to use products suited to your skin type.) and apply sunscreen daily.
hair care: regularly maintain your hair, keeping it clean, well-trimmed, and styled in a way that suits your face shape and personal style. use conditioner and hair masks to keep your hair healthy and shiny.
oral hygiene: brush and floss your teeth daily to maintain a bright smile and fresh breath. visit the dentist regularly.
dress well: wear clothes that fit well and flatter your body shape. choose outfits that reflect your personal style and make you feel confident. dress appropriately for different occasions.
accessories: use accessories like jewelry, watches, and scarves to add a touch of elegance and build your outfits. ensure accessories complement your overall look without overpowering it.
physical health: engage in regular physical activity to stay fit and healthy. exercise can improve your posture and boost your confidence. eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains to support your health and appearance. drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and glowing.
attitude: a genuine smile can make you appear more approachable and attractive. maintain good posture, make eye contact, and use confident body language.
social skills: improve your communication skills to connect better with others. show genuine interest in others and practice empathy in your interactions. charisma and behavior can make or break appearing attractive.
remember! enhancing your appearance should be about making yourself feel good and confident, rather than solely seeking external validation. what you find attractive and enjoy should come before what other people like.

OMG!! It feels like forever since I’ve posted so here’s an edit of my favourite Hawthorne lovers>>
i was meant to be someones spoiled and mischievous house cat
was playing "fetch" with the ocean today by tossing stones into it and watching them wash back up with the tide a few meters away, and it got me thinking about grief and the things we carry with us even after we lose them
note: while getting enough of different types of exercise is important, as different types of exercise bring different primary benefits, the most important thing is that you are moving your body! don’t feel pressured to do a strict amount of cardio per week if you don’t like cardio, especially if you are new to exercise. this goes for any other type of exercise. it’s totally okay to do the exercise you enjoy doing, as long as you are doing it!
how much cardio should you be doing?
while this may differ according to your personal health, conditions you may have, your goals, etc. (as with any other form of exercise), the general advice given by professionals and the American Heart Association is at least 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity or 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week. if we are going with 150 minutes per week, this would mean at least 21 minutes per day, or 30 minutes 5x per week. this schedule may vary depending on your schedule, but the overall goal is 75 or 150 minutes per week!
how much strength/weight training should you be doing?
while different professional sources have varying opinions on this, the most common advice is 60-90 minutes per week. if we are using 90 minutes per week, this would equal to 13 minutes per day, 18 minutes 5x per week, or 30 minutes 3x per week.
how much yoga/stretching should you be doing?
it is important to at least include a short cool down stretch after your workout to prevent injury and reduce soreness, but when it comes to yoga, it is recommended that you include at least a 1 hour session 3x per week, although doing a bit each day is considered ideal. using the guide of 3 hours per week, this would equal 26 minutes per day, 36 minutes 5x per week, or 60 minutes 3x per week.
how much pilates should you be doing?
while many do not include pilates in their routine or do not consider it necessary, i and many others find it incredibly beneficial due to its ability to work the smaller muscle groups that weight training usually does not. it is generally recommended that you do a 45 minute session 3-4x per week. this would also equal 19 minutes daily if you prefer to split it that way.
