clearing up some common misconceptions about Kratos (UTAU)

hello! i just wanted to clear up some things up about my OC, Kratos. i highly recommend you read this, if you wish to interact with my OC, my art for him, or want to learn more about his lore. please note that for one, i am not angry at anyone for thinking these things. i know there isn't a lot of public info on him, and majority of the people interacting with my art of him; do not know his lore. thats completely fine! so think of this as more of a "this is me giving you more info about him" and setting boundaries. rather than something negative. this is not drama, or me trying to start beef! /gen /srs the two misconceptions i'll be going over today are: "Kratos is a Sans" "He is a Sans AU of GOW" i will be going in order. 1. "Kratos is a Sans"

this is by far, the biggest misconception on him. and i don't blame you! this fandom is filled with lots and lots of Sans OCs, which isn't a bad thing at all. but for Kratos, this isn't the case. i'll say it once, i'll say it forever; Kratos is NOT a Sans. nor a Papyrus, nor a Gaster! this fact about him is not only portrayed in his written lore, but also his design! as well as the way you write his fandom name: "Kratos!UTAU." his skull is visibly different from how i draw sanses! as seen here:

this also goes for papyruses!

i would show the difference between Gaster skulls, but to be fair; i do not draw gasters very often! trust me however, i will make sure that they are also visibly different.

this isn't a new fact about him either, right off the bat i decided he wasn't going to be a Sans. despite all of my other OCs at the time, being sanses or papyruses. this was true then, and it is true now! (even in my older art!) 'if he isn't any of those; what is he then?' just a skeleton!.... thats literally it. HELP. you can define him as an OC thats not based on existing character, but also exists in the same universe. (so just a regular OC) i hope that makes sense! Kratos isn't my only example either, my other OC; 'Tomb' (AKA, Ares), is also just a skeleton. he even has a different skull from Kratos! to end this point off, please only type his name as "Kratos!UTAU". and to not call him a Sans! i'll scream from the hills in order for the entire fandom to address him as such, if thats what it comes to.... /hj 2. "He is a Sans AU of GOW" this is just completely wrong! Kratos has absolutely no association with the GOW franchise. they simply, share a name. Kratos(UTAU) is NOT based on Kratos(GOW). tongue twister, i know. i will be transparent here though, i personally love the GOW games! and i thought Kratos was a cool name to give my OC. so i did! and here we are :-) (i knew from the start that there would be comparisons, and i was prepared for that.) i did take inspiration from Kratos(GOW) for one element of Kratos' design, which is his red markings! other than those two similarities, they have nothing in common. the reason why he has those markings is completely different from GOW, and is essential to his base lore. and in retrospect, his name is fitting for him for other reasons; also from his lore. i created Kratos from scratch. to his design, to his lore, to building my own versions of the multiverses in the UTAU fandom. and carefully crafting the mechanics, personalities, designs, and details of not only Kratos; but all of my OCs and world building. i am genuinely passionate about all of these and more, and to be frank; i work on them everyday. i worked very hard on his story, and still do. so i think it wouldn't be fair to me, (or frankly anyone), for someone to compare characters with each other! this goes for all comparisons. /gen /nm to end this point; please don't compare Kratos to Kratos(GOW) ! (or any character for that matter) - - - and thats it! thank you so much for reading, i've been wanting to make a post like this for a while. since the integrity of my character(s) is very important to me! again, don't take this too seriously! i do not mean my words to be in bad faith, and it is not my intention. i already appreciate you taking the time to look through this! thank you :-) /gen

The Amazon Rainforest is under a massive threat. I know you've heard this a million times, but this is different. There is a piece of legislation that will decimate the rights of Indigenous people of Brazil, who have been protecting the rainforest. It's unfathomably bad. It has majority support. And they're voting tomorrow. As reported here, the Bill allows "the Brazilian government to find energy resources, set up military bases, develop strategic roads, and implement commercial agriculture on protected Indigenous tribal lands, without any prior discussion with the affected peoples."

The thing you can do—and I know this sounds overly simple—is sign this petition—and tell your friends to do the same: SIGN HERE.

As reported here, the Bill allows "the Brazilian government to find energy resources, set up military bases, develop strategic roads, and implement commercial agriculture on protected Indigenous tribal lands, without any prior discussion with the affected peoples."

Again, this bill has majority support. You may be wondering, why will a petition signed by people who don't live in Brazil make any difference? Because it will give those opposing it political air cover. It will show the world is with them.

But we need a LOT of signatures.

hello everyone! remember i promised to post some Kratos lore a while back? well here it is! enjoy reading :-)

(i forgot to add that Kratos isn't a Sans, Papyrus, or Gaster. he's just a skeleton!)

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

Kratos is still in development. some of his lore is not available to the public yet, because it is either unfinished or i want to portray it in another media with him. (ex: more story based lore snip-its, in forms of graphic novels, or short comics/animatics.)

with this in mind, i strongly request there be less or no fanon renditions of him! this includes headcanons. i want to be able to fully tell his story and lore, before that happens.

if you do wish to make fan-works of him, please strictly follow his canon. this goes for all of my characters, not just him!
