Things Clone Troopers Do To Subtly Annoy Their Jedi, Without It Seeming Like They’re Doing It On Purpose:

Having thoughts about Nine. 

I dont think they're taking the show this way but im having Sonic and Nine feelings so headcanon rambling fic thing idk i just have A LOT OF FEELINGS OK!

Sonic loves tails. I know in the show they're 'best friends' but we all know they're brothers, ok? Ok good. 

We know that no matter the version, the dimension Sonic will do anything for Tails and with the way they're setting up Nines character arc of a loner who discovers friendship has got me thinking about how sonic is going to leave the dystopian universe and start his journey to the others. 

Because i can see a universe where he's reluctant to go

The portal rages before Sonic. Throwing blue, red and white light around them all as it fights the very fabric of reality. This will be his first step to fixing this whole paradox mess. To fix his mistake. 

Right at the edge of the portal he stops. Only to turn around and march right back to Nine 

"Come with me" he says holding out his hand, determination burning so strong in his voice it's nearly a real physical warmth. 

"I'll fix this whole paradox mess and you'll either get your memories back or I'll have two little buddys, it's win-win right?" 

Nines eyes well with surprise, glossing over before a subdued look of fondness takes over his face. 

 "That's not how this works Sonic"

"Why not?" It's a demand as he unconsciously draws closer to the kid. His kid, his little brother no matter the universe. 

"I'm here aren't I? If it's about the energy thing, you built these devices for my gloves and shoes to fix that. You could do it again for yourself!" 

There's silence in the room. Even with the portal raging mere feet away the world narrows to just the two of them 

Slowly, Hesitantly Nines hand wraps around sonics. Lifting his head with a soft eyes 

Sonic expression brightens. His ears perk with happiness and eyes light up with excitement as he looks at Nine. And Nine smiles back.

He looks happy. He looks like Tails.

Suddenly Nine lunges forward into a hug.  Sending them both back a few steps as sonic fumbles quickly to steady them and wrap his arms around the little fox in return 

"Thank you Sonic" 

Chuckling softly, Sonic ducks his face into the top of Nines fluffy head. Cradling him tightly in his arms. 

"Nah kid don't thank me. I'm just sorry you were alone for so long. But not anymore Alright? Not while i'm around" 

He can feel Nines back tremble softly as the fur on his chest becomes damp. Cueing Him to squeeze the kid a little harder before pulling back, Just enough to see Nines face 

"So, what do you say little buddy?" 

Nine turns his face up to meet Sonics. Fur wet with tears but eyes filled with a determination all his own and a smile as real as any his Tails had given him before. 

And he shoves Sonic as hard as he can 

for a moment the world stops.

"NINE!" wrenches itself out of Sonic's throat as he falls.

"Find me again" is choked out. Echoing  throughout the swirling vortex after him. Nines silhouette slowly smudging away

"Find your Tails and love him for me ok?" 

Because if there's one thing about Tails I think would be consistent throughout every universe is that given the chance he'll always love Sonic back. And he'll want to protect him. 

Even if that means having to give him up. If he has to send him away to protect him from himself, Tails will do it. Even if it might kill him.

Here's Nine alone, abandoned, Abused. So convinced of the world's evil he's decided it's not even worth it to try. It's safer never to try. And he's right to an extent.

And it occurs to Nine that this is too good to be true. Because sonic has to go and he can't follow.

Because here's everything he's told himself he didn't need!, Someone who says he knows him!, Who loves him unconditionally!, one person in the whole world who loves him despite his self imagined flaws! 

From the first moment they met it was an adventure! A wild ride one dangerous turn after another and there are more people now! The rebels with knuckles and Rouge. 

Rusty (because there's no way Sonic wont win her over too) The world is so much bigger and brighter now and it's because of Sonic! 

The instinct to save him even after he'd attacked the hedgehog. The heartbreak in his eyes when he didn't know who he was. And it's the overwhelming love in everything Sonic does from the bickering to simply trying to make Nine smile that really solidifies it for him. 

This dorky weirdo who broke into his workshop and got them kidnapped. Who gushes about his inventions and tries to cheer him up with hair-brained ideas.  bickering and laughing with him without a second thought. He Loves Nine….. 

He loves Tails…..  

There's a version of himself out there who grew up with this person so full of love. He'll be needing him back. 

And Nine can't go with him.

Chapter 1: Best Laid Plans

Present Day

The red insignia of the Eggman Empire grinned against its steel canvas, empty eyes overlooking empty prison cells. Numbered placards mounted above each barred cage counted down from zero to six. At first glance, they all appeared vacant. Whatever had been kept captive once upon a time now long gone. Though, ironically enough, the cell marked "0" was the only one to contain something.

A door to the prison block opened with the press of a button. Confident footsteps echoed off the corrugated floors while two robots hovered in their wake. Dr. Eggman paused at the doors to the first cell. Sporting a smile to rival his own logo, the doctor peered into the darkest corner of the cell.

"I knew there was something special about you from the moment I saw you," he declared in lieu of a greeting. "Comes with the territory when you're a genius. You'll find very little actually surprises me."

A shadowed lump of fur sat still and silent in the dark. Staring sightlessly at the wall barely two feet from his snout, he didn't acknowledge the doctor's presence. A collar choked the creature's neck, not enough to cut off airflow, but the pressure was a constant reminder of his capture. 

Of his humiliation.

"If you think catatonia will get you out of this, you'll only find yourself disappointed." Eggman stroked the whiskers of his mustache as he considered his captive. "I have big plans for you, JS-00. Oh yes. Once the testing phase is complete, we can proceed to the main event. I think you'll enjoy the challenge. After all, it's not for the weak."

Eggman chuckled as a pointed ear flicked in his direction. There were no other indication he was fully cognizant, but there didn't have to be. He was still listening.

"Piqued your interest, have I?" Eggman chuckled.

"… the mask."

Eggman arched a brow. "Hm? What was that?"

"… give me the mask."

So basically I saw Sonic with my friend Thursday night and it changed my life it’s a cinematic masterpiece and I will never be the same

My husband’s job primarily employs adult men but there is one (1) teenage girl and my husband said originally he worried she might be a bit of an outcast but instead every man on the crew was like “huh guess I am a dad/older brother now.”

Kitsune Tails AU time.

This is mostly coming from the fact that Tails two tails plus the seven chaos emeralds is nine and my brain won’t stop trying to make a connection between the two. (i know basic math wow so amazing have a whole college degree and everything to show for it).  Is there a connection lore wise absolutely not…but that wont stop my string and cork board conspiracy brain from trying to find a connection anyways.

So this Au starts when all the characters are just a little older (like maybe by like 5ish years or something idk) and Sonic and Tails are fighting Eggman for the chaos emeralds their age old song and dance. And for what ever reason just Tails goes super by himself for the first time to beat Eggman.

When he gets out of super form though only 6 emeralds leave him and scatter the 7th stays….and now he has a third tail.

Queue panicked and confused screaming from Tails and Sonic cause

“WHY DO YOU HAVE A NEW TAIL?????!!!!??”

“I DON’T KNOW YOU USE THE EMERALDS ALL TIME AND I DON”T SEE YOU SPROUTING NEW LIMBS!!!”

So they’re both distressed cause WTF??? is going on and take that confused screaming panic all the way to Angel Island to visit the only expert they know, Knuckles.

He has no idea either what is happening and is somewhat freaked out too (he’s a lot freaked out but he’s not gonna show it cause even he didn’t know the emeralds could give people limbs) and queue his yelling hysterics of

“SONIC WHAT DID YOU DO???!!”

“I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!!!!”

But Knuckles does try the age old tradition of punch the emerald out of Tails….the emerald stays in and Tails goes through a tree.

After a bit of meditating on it though Knuckles can sense the emerald inside Tails will eventually come out and it’s transferring some kind of power to Tails. As for the extra tail he has no idea what the fuck that’s about they’re on their own with that one.

Sonic is of course concerned cause his little brother just gained a new limb randomly and no one has any idea what that means. So him and Tails set off to go find out what all this is about (Sonic gets real bad at hovering over Tails and constantly checking on him through all this, cause like people don’t just grow tails, lol, randomly and he doesn’t know how this may effect Tails and is just worried)

Eventually the chaos emerald does pop out and scatter off to one of the random four corners the emeralds tend to go off to to recharge (it’s not drained of power just low battery pretty much from what ever it just did to Tails). And it’s around this time that they find information on Kitsune and all that lore.

Queue another freak out from Tails cause “WHAT DO YOU MEAN I MAY POTENTIALLY LIVE HUNDREDS OF YEARS!! WHERE’S SILVER DID HE KNOW ABOUT THIS??? DOES HE KNOW ME IN THE FUTURE???!!” (somewhere Silver just suddenly has a sense of dread someone’s mad at him for some reason)

Idk just a silly little AU that’s been on the brain have fun people.
