happy 18th mother 3
quick lazy redraw of that one white day chuuya art
growing up being autistic but not knowing is just *hiding in room while people are over* *getting tired and needing to recharge after the smallest chores* *getting called a gifted kid* *knowing that you’re “weird” because people are making fun of you but not knowing how to stop being weird* *having adults tell you how “mature” you are* *getting in trouble for not doing work* *convincing yourself that you’re just lazy and stupid because you can’t make yourself do work* *getting really invested in “weird” media*
anyway is anyone else thinking about how lucas likely accepted that claus was dead for the three years he was gone. how flint kept looking for someone lucas likely had already given up on. and then it turns out he's actually been here this whole time and now lucas has to go through the grieving process again knowing that this time claus chose to leave. I Think About This
Listen Kunikida would be absolutely terrifying as a criminal.
He wouldn't follow the law but his own ideals and only his rules. And those rules would be strict, everyone in the organisation would be held to a high standard.
You break them, you're done.
He wouldn't even need to kill people. He'd know every law in the country, and how to exploit every loophole and technicality.
Also unless outright stated (and your not a genius) it would be pretty difficult to realise that he can only make small items with his ability.
It would seem like Kunikida could bring anything to life. He's terrifying strong, and that's not due to any kind of ability.
Also good luck to anyone who hurts his people, he'll fuck you up.
Paperwork is filed on time, his subordinates are treated well and Kunikida would focus his organisations efforts on the aiding and the protection of citizens.
To getting rid of corrupt figures, providing safe places and protection for the most vulnerable in society.
Because those are Kunikida's ideals, and a trivial thing like the law isn't going to stop him.
THIS ONE it has a silly title but omg
Tfw you read a life changing fanfic at 3 in the morning and your crying but have no one to talk to about it because it's 3 in the morning so you just lie there
ads that contain pornographic or suggestive imagery
ads that redirect to websites with other ads that are not as moderated as the original source, which can happen often on websites targeted to children
scams
ads with audio on audio-less pages, not too big of a deal but can be frustrating
ads that disrupt or break the website by layering over site elements such as buttons and text
unintentionally clicking popups
i think it should be illegal to not allow an adblocker on your site and im not kidding
he's very bad at managing his volume when he speaks, he's always either too loud or way too quiet, at this point most of class 1-a has slowly gotten used to his loudness though
most of his sensory issues come with textures, especially food. he still eats things that a young child would because he just never got used to more complex foods with lots of different textures and flavors
denki loves weighted blankets, especially the really heavy, big ones that look like they could crush him
he has some stims he sticks to like flapping his hands or chewing on things like chewelry, but he usually just does whatever he feels like doing at the moment that seems right. can't predict it with him. he has a lot of vocal stims and echolalia
his echolalia is mostly phrases he finds funny or interesting, especially when it fits the current situation. if ur in a car w/ him you'll hear "road work ahead? uh yeah, i sure hope it does" like at least 3 times
kaminari has a surprising amount of meltdowns. they're not exactly common but they happen enough to be noticably frequent.
he feels like he has to be the happy ray of sunshine all the time so he usually bottles up all his problems/stress/sensory issues which leads to the more frequent meltdowns
kirishima tries to be a good allistic ally, he gets a little confused sometimes but denki could talk for hours about autism so he totally has someone to explain lol this post is getting long so i'll post a part 2!!!
I saw a post on here about the whole "Curly talking with those dog buttons" situation, but the reblogs and comments were off, so I have to make my own post to express my thoughts on it
I saw a few seconds of that video, and just that was enough to make me feel rather uncomfortable. My first thought was, wouldn't that be painful? Forcing this man with *literally no skin* to lean forward and smack one of those plastic buttons with his stubs because he has no hands? (seriously. those buttons can be a little tough, you have to put pressure, you can't just tap on them)
aside from the logistics of it, it seems the mouthwashing fandom forgets Curly is still a man. A grown adult, with a fully functioning mind and sense of self..I can only imagine how dehumanizing it would be, to be forced to sit on the floor and use buttons made for *dogs* while already being in possibly the worst situation someone could be in.
the people acting like it's cute or funny are a huge part of this problem - acting like the suffering of a severely injured and extremely disabled quadruple amputee is something funny or silly or quirky. even myself with my developmental disabilities would be absolutely disgusted and ashamed if someone saw me struggling with a meltdown or something and treating it like some cute moment. Yes, Curly is fictional , but treating him like no more than a silly gore mascot really says a lot about how some of you guys feel about real disabled people.
