Bad Attitude (Yandere Bakugo x reader)

You can’t stand his attitude anymore, so rowdy and so annoying. Even after meeting each other again when you finally came out of the house and him coming from UA, he still is the same bratty boy you encounter years ago as a child; you met him only because your parents bought a new home to move in because of your father’s new job.

Your mother was the one who forced you to go out in the playground since the neighbor’s son is out there too. It was in the playground when he decided to bother you along with his friends, including Izuku who just stood there and watched with a worried look. You never expected the boy to be so arrogant.

“Hey! This playground isn’t for girlies like you! Get lost!”

“You’re fragile, you’re gonna get hurt if you played around here!”

You still remember those words like yesterday. Instead of speaking up for yourself and shout at him, saying you’re not fragile and weak—you immediately left the playground. Not wanting to continue this drama in the future, it seems fate has other plans for you.

He probably said all of that was because he would see you being so clumsy around his house that you end up getting hurt when your mom is over at Mitsuki’s house with you, in hopes you can get along with Bakugo. It was nice that he didn’t have been rude to you that much as you two got older.

But he would still see you as fragile and he considers you are when if you’re more aware of your surroundings now.

It was a good thing you didn't have to go to the same school as your neighbor did and you can tell he also had a grumpy face each time you saw him. To you, he’s thinking about many ways to torture you when Katsuki catches sight of you while the two of you were on your way home. But in reality, he just wants to talk to you.

Bakugo never seems to learn when to shut up while on the way home, he tries to pull up a conversation but you barely even listen which annoys him.

 You complained about him a lot to your mom who always tells you to ignore it. So this time you decided to take her advice. You stayed seated in the chair of the café you were in, taking a bite out of the small strawberry cake you ordered before.

You enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere with some people chattering with one another. Until a certain boy sat down in front of you, you didn’t look up to meet his intense gaze--you were going to ignore him even if the plan fails. 

“Hey.” His loud voice called out to you, while you were too busy eating the cake; you ignored him. Eyes stayed glued to the cake until his hand grabbed onto the edge of the plate and slid away from you. The plan of ignoring him did n’t work on you, you really want to finish eating the cake. No one seemed to notice him as they are busy doing their own business.

You clasped your hands and intertwined your fingers together in front of you; you looked up at him in the eyes. His eyes left yours for a brief moment before gazing back at you again after finding what words to spill out.

“I was wondering if you and I would like to go out together tomorrow since that time I’m free?” Awkwardness and hesitant laced in his voice but he did his best to cover that up but you could tell by how he would sometimes advert his eyes somewhere and his body language stiffens.

“I don’t know, never been on a date before.” You answered back before pulling the plate away from him to continue eating the last piece. His red eyes narrowed, unpleased with your reply.

“It’s either yes or no.” His tone becomes harsher but Bakugo is still trying to keep in control. His anger is starting to rise with each second.

You glanced up at him before speaking again.

“I have a lot of homework to do. It’s going to keep me busy and it’s best if I do it so I don’t have to worry about that.”

He scowled and harshly got up from his seat, earning the attention of others who heard the noise.

Bakugo harshly glared at them, making the people look quickly away. Back at you, you narrowed your eyes at him with your arms crossed over your chest.

“Fine, play it that way,” Bakugo said, irritated, “I guess I’ll have to force you.

*Yandere Daniel Park is obsessive, overprotective, stalker and clingy. Daniel witnessed the cruel side of humanity and how people treats others differently just because how beautiful they are. Daniel was always beaten up by others and always looked down upon but you were the one who sympathized with his pain and would help him every time he was in trouble. It was your kindness and bravery to stand up against bullies is what got him to fall in love with you.

*Daniel can't stand seeing you getting injured by anyone, even if it's mentally; it angers him deeply but he doesn't show it as he hides it with a strained smile and the moment you leave. His glare would be enough to terrify the other person and would make them apologize to you. But if it's physical abuse, that person is done for as Daniel ruthlessly beats them up.

*Daniel always wants to be with you, whether that is walking you home. Shopping, helping you with homework, always attempting to come over to your house, etc. Every time you refuse him to come along with you to any location, Daniel would always resorts to stalking you and making sure no one dangerous would come after you. And you'll never know but you will have a feeling that something or someone is keeping an eye on you and even if you searched the area you're in; you wouldn't find anyone. And Daniel stalks your social media too, he is your number one fan.

*He would be too scared to tell you his feelings, fearing that you may reject him but confident that your feeling for him would turn romantic as he watches over you, buys you gifts and always help you in whatever you're struggling with. Even if he is a friend, strangers would think he is the perfect boyfriend you have. Considering of how sweet and caring he is, almost as if the both of you were not actually friends.

*Daniel would love to marry you in the future but to get to that first, he would have to win you over. But if you remain oblivious or indifferent to his advances, he will be frustrated but wouldn't give up. he would use his good looks to his advantages and would easily makes his way into what hobbies you're doing and do it with you. if Daniel was your boyfriend, he will be loving and empathetic in your eyes, but also crazy over protective.

*He would also join what college you plan to go to and will try to get the same classes as you.

*Daniel also gets jealous easily, but he'll be chill about it if it was his friends and would be lenient with girls but other guys? he would be good in masking it but he would give glares to the other person, especially if that man gives you lecherous looks. He would be staring the entire time and when you look back at Daniel he quickly switches up to smiling and being friendly. And when his victim walks home with no witnesses, that's when Daniel grabs him by the back of his neck and slams his head harshly against the concrete wall. Threatening him to stay away from you otherwise he will break all bones in his body.

*He becomes the most brutal monster every time you're in danger, mercy is not on his dictionary when you get harmed in any way by anyone. Doesn't matter if his opponent is strong, he will find a way and defeat them.

*Like this one time when you got kidnapped by a bunch of thugs.

*Your captors parked their car in front of the convenience store, and one of them got inside to grab a drink. Daniel who is in his original body was about to scan his drink until the man's phone started ringing and cursed quietly as he took it out. And it was at that moment where Daniel's world stopped and pure terror squeezed his heart. That phone belonged to none other than you.

*In order to save you, Daniel would call his friends to help him locate the people who took you. Since they were good in hiding evidence and their tracks. Jay, Vasco, and Zack will get involved and when they reach the location. That's when Daniel, in his perfect body will become blinded by rage as he beats your captors black and blue. The police will come and you'll wake up drowsily due to tears falling onto your face and you'll see it was none other than Daniel crying.

*And after a few days, Daniel would kidnap you. Traumatized by the event. He will never hurt you, whether it be physical or mental but he wouldn't resort to locking you up or have you tied tightly that you won't be able to move. Even if he's furious with you, he would immediately hug you to calm his anger down and you will be terrified to even resist because you seen him being so mad when a thug or gangster or anyone attempted to mess with you. And that is when Daniel resorts to violence in order to protect you.

*In the public, Daniel will be shy when holding your hand or being too close to you but inside his house. He'll be like a leech and would hold you in his arms with your consent otherwise he wouldn't. But he would secretly stare at you and when you look back at him, he will be pretending to do something. You won't know anything about him having two bodies, after all no one should know his secret. He will hide his original body from you. Or make up some excuse to hide his secret. either way, you won't find out.

*At some point, if you're with Daniel then there is a high chance that you will meet his mom. She would be very delighted that her son found someone to love and to love him. She'll be very supportive of the relationship and Daniel prefers to keep her in the dark, it would be best to not let her know of what he had done. But if you manage to convince Daniel for him to let you go home by making a deal with him. Then he'll consider it and accept your wishes. The deal is that he can be your boyfriend and allowed to be in your house any time. Even allowing him to come along with you where ever you go if he sets you free.

*Daniel as a yandere is a gentle and loving person towards you, almost as if he never had any dark desires regarding about you. Great man to be with if you ignore how crazy he is when it comes to you. It's best if you remained unaware of his gruesome thoughts of killing others if they try and take you away. And it's also best that you don't ever find out that he is a major stalker too. You can never see him the same ever again. There is no escape from him considering how determined he is when he wants to accomplish his goal. and that goal is you.

*A few years pass by and now you turned 16 years old. It is easy letting go happy memories but bad memories are hard to leave behind. They chase after you no matter where you run off to. They are not easy to forget. Just like your dad. All the mess that occurred between you and your parents; you somehow learned to live with it. So much that it came to the point you can't even bring yourself to smile anymore. Thus, breaking Leon's heart. He remembers when you were little, you would always jump into his arms whenever he came back from his long missions. telling him excitedly how much you missed him and forcing him to play with you to which he happily oblige.

*And now that you're older, you would always stay in your room all the time. Barely even get out of your safe space and your mother is concerned about you, she would sometimes come in only to see you busy yourself with homework. You always looked sad and empty, as if you are just a living shell. You were starting to act like Leon when he was a troubled man with a dark brooding expression and too busy with his missions to care for himself. And Leon had enough, he would knock on your door and force you to leave your homework or anything you were doing behind and join him in the living room with your mom.

*That's when the family discussion about your mental health starts. Leon would start the conversation, stating how concern he is becoming for you and if there is anything you need him to do for you to be okay. To which you act all confused and say you're fine. Your mom would attempt to save you from Leon's oncoming distress and fear of you doing anything to ruin your health by excusing that you are going through mood swings and it's normal. You are sick of your dad's pretense that nothing is wrong with him yet you don't do anything about it. Aware of the trouble it will bring.

*But your dad is stubborn, his eyes would turn firm and dark upon you. Usually back in your younger years, you would be terrified to speak and your eyes would look everywhere around the house besides meeting your dad's eyes. Now at the present, you would could only stare back at him with a blank expression as you calmly say that you're just too tired. If this behaviour of yours just happens only one time then Leon would have let this slide but it is concerningly happens everyday. You barely smile or laugh, you just either go on your laptop or do your homework and every time Leon comes home. He would find you sleeping on the couch or back on your bed.

*You don't even talk to your mom or him anymore, claiming that you don't know what to talk about. But Leon knows why, he knows that the discovery of his real side is haunting you.

"Trust me Y/n, I've seen more than you or your mom ever had. I saw the darkest side of this world and the people. What I do always have a reason, so trust me even if I'm too much. What I do, I do for you and your mom." Leon says as he held your hand while staring at you with genuine concern and softness. Yet you don't bother to gaze back at him. Keeping your eyes down.

*You know the true reality of your dad, behind his caring facade lies a monster who waits in the dark for potential victims to prey upon. You seen the way he stares at other men when they either attempts to ask you or your mom questions when you three would all go outside together. You can never forget that crazy and murderous look within his eyes in your peripheral vision when he stares at someone for a bit too long. Before snapping out of it quickly.

*You then get a therapist after making a promise to your mom that you won't say anything. Getting help is pointless considering the power Leon has. And after therapy sessions, your dad always comes to pick you up and the two of you would head to buy sweets and anything you want to eat as a way to cheer you up. Now, Leon is getting better at controlling himself around you. So well that you almost forget how your dad really is on the inside.

*You started to accept that your dad is never going to change, so asking for freedom to go and hang out with your friends is useless until one day. When your dad left, you asked your mom if you could for once go out with your friends and your mom whispered in your ear.

"Go out and have fun but come back before it's night time." And for the first time, you felt happiness explode in your heart.

*Your mom would always say no since she's scared that Leon would find out and cause a big deal out of it but now she is starting to be confident. But the way your dad found out that you know everything now remains a mystery to you and your mom. But you don't bother to care which is your big mistake.

*Then you met your mom's old friends and the way you saw your dad and his motorcycle in the background with his empty cold eyes staring at their back. You came to realize that your dad is anything but dumb.

*When the next day arrives, you saw the mysterious disappearance of your mom's friends and the blank expression of your mom. Leon didn't get mad at you or at your mom. He acted like nothing ever happened. But he did had a serious argument with your mom about you being let out. You felt like an animal being caged but you were sure your mom has it worse.

*In the middle of the night, your mom woke you up.

"Y/n! Get up, we need to leave now!" She harshly whispered to you as she shook you awake. "We can't live with your father anymore."

Their impossibly sharp teeth weren't even the most horrifying thing about them.

Jake is obsessive and over-protective, he is always with you someway and if he can't be with you then Jerry Kwon or the big deal will. After all, it is dangerous for you to be all alone when there are worse guys out there. Preying on a defenseless pretty thing like you.

Loves to watch you from afar, in classes or on your way home--anywhere. He's always behind you but you don't notice. In his eyes, he's just protecting you and loving you but in your eyes. He is somewhat creepy and a stalker. But he's funny too.

Jake knows what he is doing is wrong but justifies it by being aware that he has seen worse things than you did. Jake doesn't want you to get involved with any gang fights or any violence that could send you to the hospital.

Sinu Han along with Jake's friends would tease him about his crush which leads to Jake denying it even though it's true, they are all aware that you're not very fond of him considering the stories you heard about Big Deal and how violent Jake can be.

To help Jake, Sinu Han would lure you into their streets, and from there you would meet Yeon Hui. The girls would only talk good about Jake in front of you and Jake would take that chance and chat with you before walking you home.

He's the type to be your number one fan on social media, always liking your post and comments on it.

Jake would open up a bit about himself about his father and how he never wanted to be a part of a gang. He would assure you that he would never hurt you except he won't promise about others.

Anyone who tries or hurts you in any way, they're dead. Beaten up to the point the prepetrator are in the hospital--in a comatose state.

Jake is a gentleman, always opening the door for you, walking you to class or home, pulling the chair out for you to sit and even attempting to help you with homework. But you don't need to know the dark side of Jake. Of how much he kills for you and how anyone who tries to get with you ends up never being heard of again.

Jake can be jealous easily depending on people you hang out with whether it's cousins or family--Then he has no problem. Might even try to get on good terms with them. Whether it's female friends or the girls at the clothing shop on his street. That's fine too but he'll be intervening to be a part of the conversation or activity.

But he has a hard time trusting your guy friends and that's when he gets badly jealous. Due to the fact, he's experienced how other guys play with girls and use them for their bodies to indulge in before throwing them away.

Might as well blackmail them to stay away from you or else things gonna go really bad for them.

Jake's friends are protective of you just like how Jake is. If Jake can't accompany you, then they won't mind hanging around with you and Jerry until you get home safe or at the location you wanted to go to.

If you plead with Jake to let you go alone, then that's when Jake will stalk you without your knowledge.

Jake will only kidnap you if you try to leave him, he will try to understand you by seeing from your point of view but if you insist on leaving him completely. By cutting him out of your life--that's when things get ugly when he abducts you and keeps you locked up in a house but as long as you won't escape. Then he'll let you go out again unless you're with him.

Might let you meet his mom as well and she'll be a bit amused that her gangster son fell in love and she'll support the relationship.

In the end, Jake might be a bit excessive with his love for you even if it becomes too much along with his overprotectiveness and paranoia--especially after Sinu Han's disappearance and rescuing him. Jake will risk his life for you to be safe and happy, despite locking you up but he'll treat you respectfully and lovingly.

Ways I develop character relationships in my writing

This is just a small list of things I do to add a little bit of coziness into my writing through my characters! Relationships (both platonic and romantic) are notoriously hard to write, so here are some of my tips!

Characters picking up on each other’s mannerisms

Characters finishing each other’s sentences

When one character trips/falls/slips and their friend(s) make fun of them before helping them up

Inside jokes

When a group is laughing together, characters who immediately look at each other to see if they found it funny also

Friends who can’t keep it together in serious situations when they’re together

Platonic touching (hugging, hand holding, high fives, etc.)

Characters discussing future plans

Intentionally making fun of each other in front of their crush/partner

Last wishes should almost always be granted.

"I wish for you to be quiet. For one second."

"Just wishful thinking, I'd say."
