“You’re home!” You smiled, hugging him. “How was the mission?” You asked.
“It was fine. I missed my girls.” Bucky says, kissing your lips.
“Hailey, Bucky is home!” You say.
“Coming, mommy!” Hailey says.
You and Bucky have been dating for a few weeks. Your 6 year old daughter absolutely loves him. She became best friends with him the second they met.
Hailey came running out of her bedroom and jumped into Bucky’s arms. Bucky was quick to catch her and give her hugs and kisses.
“I missed you so much!” She says.
“How much?” He asks her.
“This much!” She says, opening her arms.
“That’s a lot!” Bucky says.
Bucky went to the living room and sat down on the couch with Hailey in his arms.
“Were you a good girl for mommy while I was gone?” He asks.
“Yes!” Hailey nodded. “I made you something!” She says, carefully sliding off of his lap and ran to her bedroom.
You sat down next to him. He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you closer to him, kissing your lips sweetly.
“Mmm, I missed you so much.” You say.
“How much did you miss me, doll?” He asks.
“Let me show you.” You cupped his cheeks, kissing him passionately.
“That’s a lot.” He says against your lips.
You two pulled away from each other when you heard little footsteps running back in the living room. Hailey climbed onto the couch and got on Bucky’s lap.
“Close your eyes.” Hailey says with her hands behind her back.
Bucky chuckled and closed his eyes. Hailey carefully put on a bracelet that she made on his metal wrist. The bracelet has a bunch of different colored beads with letters that spell out his name.
“Open!” She says excitedly.
Bucky opened his eyes and looked at the bracelet on his metal wrist. A smile grew on his face.
“Do you like it?” She asks.
“I love it. Thank you, princess.” He smiles, hugging her.
“It will give you good luck while you’re on missions!” She says.
“Then I’m definitely going to wear it forever.” He says with a smile, admiring the bracelet on his wrist.
You smiled to yourself. Seeing your daughter and boyfriend interact made you more than happy.
Thank you for requesting!🩵 @lives-in-midgard

"What. The. Fuck."
Over years of living in a trailer park, Eddie has seen his fair share of weird shit. But this right here? This surpasses everything.
Wayne is sitting on the couch in the living room, with an actual baby in his lap and a completely deadpan expression on his face like this is something that happens every day.
"Hey, Ed. Meet Sasha Munson."
"Sasha Munson?" Eddie repeats, hoping that saying the name out loud will make this whole thing less surreal. It doesn't, so he automatically switches right into disbelieving panic mode instead. "Sasha Munson?! What the fuck? She isn't mine, I promise, it's literally impossible, someone must've - Wait, hold on - Is she yours? Aren't you like fifty years too old to knock someone up? What the fuck did you do? Who's the mother? What were you thinking, man, we can't take care of a -"
"Eddie, sit down."
"No, I'm not sitting down, this is ridiculous, what the fucking fuck, we can't -"
"She ain't mine and she ain't yours."
"What the-" It takes a few seconds before Wayne's words sink in. Then, Eddie freezes mid-sentence, giving his brain a second or two to catch up to what Wayne just said.
"Wait, what?" he asks.
He gives the sleeping baby a distrustful look. It's small - too small to be a human, if you asks Eddie. It scares him a little bit.
"Then whose is she?"
"I told ya to sit down, Ed."
And Wayne's voice is so strict and serious that Eddie can only obey.
"Your dad was here earlier."
Those few words are enough to tell Eddie exactly what happened. He immediately feels sick to his stomach. He wants to cover his ears, or walk out of the trailer and never come back. But instead, he keeps sitting, frozen in his chair, and listens to what Wayne tells him.
"Sasha is his daughter. He had this girlfriend, Melody, 'bout a year ago. She's much younger than him, is all I know 'bout her. I think they were kinda serious at the time. But Clyde went and messed it up, of course. Cheated on her. She dumped him. Then showed up again a few weeks later all sobered up and told him she was pregnant. Far as I know, things went okay for a while after that. But she caved right after she gave birth. It took a toll on her, Clyde said. So she needed the drugs again. He left her; he didn't see a way to help her and he was worried 'bout Sasha's safety. So he took Sasha with him and brought her to me. Said he couldn't take care of a baby and that was that."
It is a story eerily similar to what Wayne told Eddie about his own early years, whenever he'd ask him questions about his parents.
Eddie looks at the tiny human in Wayne's arms. Her eyes are closed and her mouth is just slightly agape. She's wrapped in a blanket that has a soft shade of pink, with tiny elephants printed across it.
"He never learns, does he?" Eddie remarks with a sigh.
"He doesn't," Wayne affirms in a soft voice, shaking his head. "But you know what, if these are the consequences of his actions..." He first looks up at Eddie, then down at the baby in his lap again. "I can't even be too mad at him for it."
"Jesus Christ, what a mess."
"Don't think too badly of him, Ed," Wayne says. "He wanted to help them. Both of 'em. But he didn't know how. He did what he thought was gonna be best for Sasha. Just like he did with you. He ain't evil. Just a coward who makes bad decisions."
Eddie swallows thickly.
"We'll make it work," Wayne says with certainty in his voice. "It'll be tight, but we'll survive. We did it before, we can do it again."
Eddie nods.
"You wanna hold her?"
He shifts uneasily. She seems so fragile. He doesn't know a single thing about babies; he is his father's son, after all, not Wayne's, no matter how much he wishes he were.
"C'mon, Ed, she's your sister."
It's only now that Eddie notices how well it fits, Wayne with a baby in his arms. Like he was made to be a father. Like Sasha belongs there. There aren't any pictures of Eddie as a baby, as far as he knows, but he imagines it must've looked somewhat like this scene: the exact same couch, a different blanket, and a younger version of Wayne. One with less wrinkles and more hair; less worn-out by the sorrows Eddie has given him over the years. It's simple for Wayne, in a way it isn't for Eddie's father, and in a way that Eddie fears it won't be for him. To hold her gently and let her sleep to the rhythm of his heartbeat. To sit with her quietly and do nothing else. To give love and patience without expecting anything in return.
Eddie rises from his chair and sits down next to Wayne on the couch. He utters a shaky breath, trying not to show his nerves, and wipes his sweaty hands over his jeans before holding out his arms.
“Just like that,” says Wayne softly while he places Sasha in Eddie's arms.
She's warm and has that specific newborn baby scent clinging around her. She's heavier than Eddie expected. She stirs a little bit and makes a tiny sound, but then she continues her peaceful sleep. He studies her: her closed eyes, her tiny nose, the way her head rolls around helplessly if he doesn't support her steadily enough; the hand that's hanging out of the blanket, with minuscule but fully developed fingers that grab around nothing. He listens to the steady sound of her breathing and imagines the tiny lungs inside her body working on pure instinct to keep her alive. His sister.
He looks up and finds Wayne staring at the two of them with tears in his eyes. He only catches Eddie's gaze for a fraction of a second, then he looks away, to the window on his right side.
“You're wrong, you know,” Eddie says.
Wayne turns his head back to him.
“Bout what?”
“She isn't his. Neither am I.” He looks up from the girl in his hands to meet Wayne's eyes. “We're both yours. He didn't do jackshit for us, just dropped us here with you and ran away. You're the one who raised me, Uncle Wayne, and that makes me yours way more than his. And Sasha? We're both gonna be here for her, every step of the way. We're gonna change her diapers and feed her milk - I don't really know anything else about babies, but we're gonna do all of that, together. We're gonna see her grow up and become a person. She's ours.”
Wayne produces a noise that sounds somewhat like a choked-off sob. He puts an arm around Eddie and drags him closer towards him. He doesn't say anything, but Eddie didn't expect him to. He understands.
I'm just gonna go crawl under my covers and cry like the baby I am after reading this 🥺😭🥹
Pairing: Eddie x F!Reader
Summary: Eddie wants to introduce you to his mom, so you go to the graveyard with him.
Warnings: angst, fluff, death of a parent
It was late evening and the sky was starting to darken when you sat down on the ground, in front of the stone with Mrs. Munson's name engraved on it.
"Hi mom, this is Y/N," Eddie said as he crossed his legs and stared at the faded photo of the smiling woman on the tombstone "my girlfriend."
He had been wanting to take you there for some time, he said that since he knew your family he wanted you to get to "know" his too, only if you wanted too, of course.
"I've talked about her so many times before, I do it every time I come here actually, but I've never brought her here before." He added pulling his hands out of his jacket pockets and playing nervously with the rings on his fingers.
He kept talking without ever meeting your gaze as if he was afraid of what he might read in your eyes.
"She's here because she's really important to me and I wanted to introduce her to you too. Uncle Wayne has already said that she likes her a lot, they're basically best friends, sometimes I think she loves him more than me." He said the last part with a slight laugh but from his expression he didn't look amused.
"You two have a lot in common, you know?" He asked before pausing as if he was really waiting for an answer.
In return you only heard the rustling of the leaves of the trees caused by the wind.
"She's as kind as you were. She always lets me copy her homework even though I should probably start doing it myself if I wanna graduate. Sometimes she brings home-cooked food for me and Wayne, she and her mom make really good chocolate cakes, you would have liked them a lot." He explained, his voice low.
"Sometimes we cook together like I used to do with you. But Y/N and I always end up making a mess or fighting with flour. But it's fun, so we keep doing it even if we have to clean the trailer from top to bottom afterwards." A sad smile appeared on Eddie's face, probably remembering his days spent with his mother when she was still alive.
"And she's as funny as you, she can make me smile with a simple joke even though my day has been shit and I just want to sleep for three days straight." He added and your heart squeezed in your chest.
"She's caring. That's another thing you both have in common. Once I didn't go to school because I had a fever and she missed an important test to come and check if I was okay. Actually I wasn't very okay, she had to keep my hair back as I threw up. I told her she could go anyway but she stayed with me until Wayne was back, at night. She stayed there all those hours, making me rest my head on her legs and running her hands through my hair just like you did." At this point you just wanted to cry. You never thought that all those simple gestures that were part of your relationship with Eddie could mean so much to him.
You reached out to him and grabbed his hand which had started to shake slightly and definitely not from the temperature. He fliched at first, then hold it as if his life depended on it.
"She's also a good listener, she never judges when I talk about my problems and always listens when I talk about things I'm interested in . She says she likes to hear me talk about what I like, Dungeons & Dragons, the band and music in general, books. Once I even started reading the Hobbit aloud to her, but she fell asleep after half an hour with her head on my chest. I didn't get mad, she was too pretty. And I could never be mad at her, she makes me happy." If he was talking about being happy, then why did his voice sound so broken?
"When I'm with her I feel good, mom. It doesn't matter if I'm at school, in the trailer or on a bench in the woods, when I'm with her I feel at home. And it feels good. It feels great." He added as a tear rolled down his cheek.
"She's one of the best people I know." He breathed as you reached up to him and wiped it away with your thumb, slowly caressing his cheek.
"You would have loved her, mom." He said finally, before wrapping an arm around your waist and pushing you against him, resting his head on your shoulder and sniffling.
"It's okay." You said caressing the fabric of the denim jacket covering his back.
"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too. And I'm so sorry I didn't get to know your mom. If she was even half as amazing as you are, then she really must have been great." You said leaving a kiss on his forehead.
"She was." He murmured as his arms still held you.
Your lips brushed his temple leaving a light kiss there too, then you turned towards the tombstone.
"Mrs. Munson, I promise I will take good care of your boy."
sounds about right.
it takes me between 1-4 hours to write a fic and 2 hours of that is me trying to think of a damn title

a/n: omg Anna writing an ‘x reader’ ???? shocker. anyways this is based on my frustrated dream of getting a ferret. i did some research but because it’s 1 am and i should be sleeping cause i have classes tomorrow— i wrote this instead. if any ferret owners read this, please correct me if i’m wrong on anything regarding caring for those little babies <3 i know the name is basic but honestly, i love it so much and i think Noodle deserves his own series alongside his parents.
warnings: none!! pure fluff
enjoy !!
also enjoy this, because all i can see is Eddie playing with Noodle <3
You sat on your living room couch dressed in a pair of black sweatpants and a loose shirt you had stolen from your older brother, a blanket draped over your lap with your furry friend sleeping soundly underneath it. *The Princess Bride* softly played in the background as you fought the urge to join your pet in Morpheus’ arms when you heard the front door open.
“Babe, are you home?” your boyfriend, Eddie called.
“Living room!” you called back, unable to get up to greet him as you didn’t want to disturb your precious child’s sleep.
Eddie walked into the living room, finding you sat down with mentioned blanket over your legs. His face contracted in confusion as it was quite warm outside for anyone to be wrapped in a blanket.
“Hey, darling.” he greeted, settling himself behind the couch as he leaned down to give you a soft and tender kiss on your lips, his curls lightly tickling your face.
“Hi,” you responded while giggling into your shared kiss.
He pulled away, leaving one final kiss on your nose before leaping over the couch and wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
“May I ask why you’re covered up when you could easily make sunny-side ups on the sidewalk?” he asks, running his hands through your hair and rested his chin on your shoulder.
“Well,” you started, unsure of whether to lift the veil of secrets and abruptly and ever so rudely wake up your self proclaimed fur-baby or makeup some random excuse. You opted for the latter and carefully removed the blanket from your lap, revealing the curled up figure of your ferret still sound asleep.
“What’s that?” Eddie asks, taken aback from the sudden revelation of your pet.
You had no idea why you never told him about Noodle — your sable ferret. But nevertheless you were glad that he got to meet your furry companion.
“This little guy,” you say as Noodle stirs awake and sneezes, “is my precious fur-baby, Noddle the ferret.” you proudly announce, placing one hand under the ferret’s chest, the other lifting and supporting its hind legs and bringing him towards you for security.
Eddie seemed to study the little furball for a couple seconds before looking back up at you.
“He’s cute, when did you get ‘im?”
“A couple months ago at the pet store, it was like love at first sight, except this is my beloved son.” you explain as Noodle gets out of your hold and onto his back on your lap, demanding attention which you immediately give to him, and he of course starts dooking.
Eddie smiles at the little sounds coming out of Noodle, but also because you look so content with your newfound friend.
“D-Do you think I could pet him, or hold him?” your boyfriend asks shyly
“Gotta earn his trust first. There’s a bag of treats on the dining table, go get it,” you instruct, he nods and lifts himself off the couch to acquire the bag of treats made up of cooked egg, bits of chicken, lamb, and turkey.
He comes back with the bag in hand, Noodle’s attention immediately being diverted to the familiar rustling of his favorite snacks.
“Alright, get one out of the bag,”
Eddie does as he’s told, setting the bag on the coffee table in front of him, treat on the other hand.
“Bend down to his level and speak softly, you don’t wanna scare him.”
He nods and kneels down on the floor to Noodle’s level on your lap, who looks at him curiously.
“Hey bud, y’know I think you’re pretty metal, despite your cute face and all,” he coos softly, slowly reaching his hand out to offer the treat, “Want a snack? Promise I don’t bite.”
You chuckle a little bit at his efforts to befriend your ferret, who was still in the process of deciding whether Eddie was worthy of his trust or not. Noodle first sniffs around the treat, his fingers, then his hands.
Final verdict: Noodle trusts Eddie.
The fluffy animal takes the treat from Eddie’s fingers, rewarding the human by allowing him to pet him. Eddie’s calloused fingers gently roam Noddle’s long and soft body as he finishes his treat. You watch in amusement how your boyfriend was able to bond with your let almost immediately.
Noodle takes it up a notch and also allows Eddie to lightly tickle his stomach, and he once again starts dooking, the metalhead’s giggles marching up with those of his furry friend.
“You know, I think Noodle needs a dad. He’s got me, his mom, of course. But mayyybe you’d like to join us?”
Eddie smiles as he stands up, taking his seat next to you once again while also entertaining Noodle.
“If Noodle allows me to, I’ll definitely be his dad.”
“Good, cause I’m planning on adopting another ferret.”
He calling her Mommy. I'm dying here.

warnings: 18+ (minors dni), swearing, fluff, soft!billy, allusions to smut, mentions of violence.
summary: based on this request sent to me: okay but listen...I sudden thought hit me. Billy has this reputation of being mean and scary to basically...Everyone. But what if the gang meets the one person he's utterly doting and loving. Hugs and kisses with tight snuggles that possibly break her spine. Maybe he's about to get into it with Steve/whoever and she just says his name and he calms down and trots right back to her with a stupid smile on his face.
Billy didn't necessarily introduce you to the group on purpose. It was a pool party at Harrington's house, and you went along with him. All their eyes widened when they saw you walk in with Billy. He never bought any of his girls around, keeping that life separate from the group, plus they were never around long enough for them to be introduced.
Their eyes all widened when you walked in behind Billy. There was still some contention within the group. Most still getting used to Billy being a part of their party- particularly Steve, there was still the underlying competition between the two boys.
They thought nothing of you, figuring you were simply meant to go on a date somewhere, but Billy had decided to come along to the pool party instead. The only one not being shocked to see you was Max, she'd gotten somewhat used to being around the house now.
Max offering you a small wave when you walked in and you returning it, clearing your throat awkwardly as Billy introduced you to everyone.
They were even more shocked by his behaviour towards you during the party. The way he would place a gentle kiss on your forehead as you handed him a drink or the way his arms wrapped tightly around your mid-waist and squeezed you tightly, you giggling and pushing him away and shaking your head at him.
"I think Hargrove's on drugs," Steve muttered as Dustin nodded in agreement, watching with wide eyes as you splashed Billy playfully in the shallow end of the pool. The way he picked you up and threw you carefully over his shoulder as you squealed and attempted to break free from his strong grip.
They were used to Billy being all jagged edges, harsh words and surly looks, but he seemed carefree with you, like an actual teenager. Someone who wasn't fighting a constant battle with himself, haunted by the memories of Starcourt or what his father was like.
It's only towards the end when Billy overheard Steve making a comment about how he was acting.
"Got something to say, Harrington. Say it to me." He growls out as Steve rolls his eyes.
"It's a good thing, Hargrove." He snaps back.
"Don't appreciate you bitching about me behind my back," Billy taking a step towards him, his fists clenching at his side as the rest of the group get quiet, watching the event with wide eyes.
They'd seen Billy like this numerous times and knew there was no taming the savage beast. Steve already preparing himself for the fight that was inevitably coming.
"William!" Everyone turning and staring at you as walked out from the kitchen, holding the two drinks and seeing the fight starting.
Everyone turned back to Billy, watching as his body relaxed slightly, his fists unclenching.
"Come and help me bring these chips." You say softly.
Everyone still watching the back-and-forth. No one ever told Billy what to do without reaping the nasty consequences.
They were ready for verbal sparring between the two of you instead, they watch with wide eyes as Billy relaxes completely, smiling and following you into the kitchen.
Turning to face everyone before disappearing. "I just want to be clear. I still hate you shitbirds, all of you.. but her." He snaps coolly before following you into the kitchen completely.
"What the fuck just happened?" Steve asked in disbelief, his own fists unclenched as everyone looked at Max, waiting for an explanation.
"It may seem cute but you haven't heard the gross sounds they make in his room." She mutters, shuddering at the unfortunate memories.
"Happy screams?" El asks softly as Max nods.
"Happy screams."
Can I request a fluffy Joseph Quinn x fem. reader oneshot where Joseph x reader take their baby girl trick-or-treating for the first time?

“I wanna go as daddy!” Your 3 year old little girl had told you for the 15th time, after she’d caught a glimpse of him on TV. “Okay, okay, baby. You can go as daddy.” You coo to her softly, “But you’ve gotta eat your veggies for me, yeah?” She nods, a big grin on her face and her big brown eyes full of excitement.
Joseph didn’t know what you and your daughter had planned for her halloween costume, wanting it to be a surprise. It was her very first time going trick or treating and you weren’t sure who of the three was more excited. “(Y/N)! You in here?” You hear Joseph approaching the bathroom door. You gasp, turning to make sure the door was locked. “Yeah! We’ll be out in a sec!” You call back, turning around to finish up the last details of your daughters costume.
You crack the door just enough to peak your head through, “Close your eyes.” You tell him and he chuckles, closing his eyes. You turn to your daughter, “Ready?” She giggles, nodding her head. You slowly open the door, taking her hand and leading her to Joseph. “Okay, open!” You tell Joseph, the biggest grin forming on his face as he takes in the mini Eddie Munson stood before him.
“Oh, you’re joking!” He laughs loudly, and your daughter follows suit. “I’m you, Daddy!” You smile as he glances over at you. “She insisted.” You tell him, and he picks her up, twirling her around. “My little rockstar!” He cheers, and she squeals with happiness. “You ready to go Trick or Treating?” He beams at her, and she nods.
As you guys make your way down the streets, looking at all the decorations and costumes, your daughter stays between you and Joseph; holding onto her little pumpkin bucket. “Let’s go to this one!” She tugs on your sleeve, and you look up to the beautifully decorated house. “Sure, come on!” You take her hand as she drags you as quick as she can to the front door.
Joseph picks her up, “Just press that, okay? Then when they come to the door.. what do we say?” He asks softly, and she pushes the button. “Trick or treat.” She answers, and he grins proudly. The door swings open, an elderly couple standing on the other side. “Trick or treat!” She giggles, holding her little bucket. The woman grins widely at her, “Well, aren’t you just darling! My granddaughter watches Stranger Things!” She glances over at you and Joseph.
“Thank you!” Your daughter giggles, and the lady drops a few sweet treats into the pumpkin. “Have fun, little one!” She calls out as you all make your way back to the sidewalk, making your way to the next house.
After a couple hours of walking around; getting candy and looking at the decorations, you finally make your way back home. Your daughter still radiating excitement. “Let’s see what you got.” You chuckle as you place her on the couch, she claps and dumps her bucket out on the coffee table.
“Woah! Look at all this!” Joseph chimes in, taking a seat next to her. She rummages around the candy, handing some to you and Joseph. “One for me, one for mummy, and one for daddy..” She states, tossing a piece of candy into each of your hands.
After she sorts it all out, the excitement wears down and she starts to grow tired after all the walking. She yawns, laying head down into your lap, her legs swinging over Joseph’s. After a few minutes of you softly rubbing your hand on her arm, she falls asleep. “I can’t believe she went as Eddie..” Joseph smiles down at her. You laugh quietly, laying your head on the back of the couch as you look at him. “She loves you..” You smile, and he leans over, softly kissing your lips. “I love both of you, my sweet girls.”

Authors Note: I hope this was good! I don’t remember much about trick or treating, but I absolutely love the idea. 🖤
