i like hugs, and honestly i just. i think they deserve more love than they get. so here we go lads. i’m on a one-woman mission to revive the absolute love of hugs. as always!!! do NOT add to this list!! i will curse your crops and possibly your livestock!! seriously tho i might make a new list, so just. don’t do it. add a “+ REVERSE” to reverse the roles of the action!

[ LIFT ]: sender, being taller than the shorter receiver, lifts them off the ground mid-embrace.

[ SIGH ]: sender releases a soft sigh of relief the moment they have the receiver in their arms.

[ CHEEK ]: sender presses a quick kiss to the receiver’s cheek on their way into the hug.

[ TEMPLE ]: sender presses a soft kiss to the receiver’s temple while hugging them.

[ CROWN ]: sender presses a kiss to the crown of the receiver’s head while hugging.

[ NECK ]: sender reaches up and wraps their arms around the receiver’s neck when hugging them.

[ MIDDLE ]: sender wraps their arms around the receiver’s middle while hugging them.

[ HESITATE ]: startled by a sudden hug from the receiver, the sender pauses for a moment, before hesitantly returning the embrace.

[ CLING ]: sender wraps their arms tightly around the receiver, clinging on to them throughout the embrace.

[ STROKE ]: sender slowly and repeatedly runs a hand through the receiver’s hair in a soothing motion while they hug.

[ SPIN ]: while hugging the receiver, the sender lifts them off the ground and begins to spin them both in a giddy, joyful circle.

[ FALL ]: receiving a sudden and forceful embrace from the receiver, the sender stumbles and falls to the ground while still hugging them.

[ THROW ]: sender suddenly flings their arms around the receiver in an impulsive embrace.

[ SPRINT ]: seeing the receiver across the room, the sender sprints across the distance between them to give them a hug.

[ PULL ]: sender physically pulls the receiver (by the hand or waist or arms, etc.) into a hug

[ SHOULDER ]: sender buries their face into the receiver’s shoulder/the crook of their neck while hugging them.

[ WAIST ]: sender jumps up at the last minute while running to hug the receiver, wrapping their legs around their waist and their arms around their neck as they hug them.

[ SIDE ]: sender wraps an arm around the receivers shoulders and pulls them in for a side-hug.

[ GIFT ]: while hugging the receiver, the sender slips something into their pocket out of the public eye. (FEEL FREE TO SPECIFY WHAT THIS GIFT IS!)

[ GUIDE ]: as they go in for a hug, the sender gently rests a hand and guides the receiver’s head to rest against their shoulder/chest.

[ CHIN ]: sender, while hugging the receiver, rests their chin on top of their head.

[ SWAY ]: while embracing the receiver, the sender begins to sway in a slow, soothing manner.

[ COAT ]: as they go for a hug, the sender opens out their jacket so the receiver can “share” it, warming them up as best they can while they hug.

[ HUM ]: as they embrace, the sender begins to gently hum under their breath to soothe and relax the receiver.

[ CIRCLE ]: while they’re hugging, the sender begins to rub their hand in slow circles on the receiver’s back.

[ SUBSIDE ]: an emotionally distressed sender initially shoves and strikes out at the receiver, but collapses into tears after a few moments and sinks against them for a hug.

[ CARRY ]: the sender pulls an emotionally/physically exhausted receiver into an embrace, then lifts them off their feet and carries them to a sofa/bed to let them lie down and get some rest.

[ COLLAPSE ]: a weakened sender (either from exhaustion or injuries or whatever!) sinks into the receiver’s embrace, only to collapse in their arms, too weak to move.

daily fucking reminder that you are allowed to want attention and that does not make you a bad person.

Criminal minds au headcannon

Imagine if Hotch was alot younger than he is cannonically, like mid-late 20s , and he instead finished school really young, like younger than Reid.

Imagine Hotch joining the bau at like 15, having finished law school really young, being a genius like Spencer.

But, imagine he and some friends ran a law firm together, so Hotch mainly wrote what they should say, only joining in court in the hardest cases

And the team just doesn't know he also runs a law firm. So he's still unit chief, and is still serious on the job , but is so much younger, like 26 and only Rossi knows and thinks it's funny .

I can imagine the team working an important case, where the lawyers for the victims are Hotch's firm, and one of his friends help them and is so confused at how the team thinks he must be in his 30s bc he's the same age as Hotch, and the guy Owen just laughs at them, it's a bit funny to think about.

I think that Aaron would be the type of person to be really good at singing, and when he relaxes he can actually act his age, so at home if Jack can't sleep he sings to him, he likes dancing and hot chocolate, loves going out to gay clubs (I headcannon he's bi and him and Haley once had a 3some with Owen for a bit) just because he actually likes dressing up and the music.

He also hides his true self from his team because they all see him as the leader, and so feels the need to always be responsible around them.

But, when he's with Owen and his friends (family) he's much happier and doesn't act seriously because he isn't in danger or helping anyone, just being himself

So if he goes to a club or something with his friends, and the team sees them, they would just be shocked as Aaron would be singing and dancing , smiling and laughing , which the team never sees. And at the same time I think the team would be a bit jealous bc Hotch doesn't relax as much around then as he always has to be serious around them , and would wonder who those people are.

Piper - "You guys are hot." So blatanly they both start laughing. Percy is so red in the face as Piper apologizes so many times cause it actually just came out, she did not mean to say it out loud, oh my Gods just kill me now! (Leo's laughing at her so fucking hard he needs to take a walk outside.)

Hazel - She's just normal. Adores them for taking such good care of one of her best friends.

Frank - He's a little jealous but basically the same as Hazel.

Jason - Poor guy is so scared. The only parental figures he's ever had were abusive and he's heard so many good things about them and doesn't wanna mess this up. But he relaxes after a while realizing they're super chill.

Leo - Same as Jason but instead of being a people pleaser about it, he had more energy due to his anxiety. Don't mess up. They'll hate you if you mess up. Mess up what??? It's just dinner!!!

Reyna - They made her smile!! Everyone congradulated her.

I can imagine Reyna working herself to death, like not eating and sleeping properly.

I also believe that if many legionares are too injured to fight, she would fight alone in a different way(like the pirates or something else she picked up)

Imagine if there was a tip to both camps that a massive army if monsters were going to attack Camp Half-blood, so most Romans go to help, leaving Reyna as the only defence( ik they wouldn't but Imagine)

Instead, imagine the army of monsters stormed Camp Jupiter, and Reyna having to hold them off until the legion returns, using magic from Circe's Island and fighting like the pirates.

The legion only returning at the end of the fight in time to see Reyna, broken and bleeding but victorious, having destroyed most of the army and passing out due to injury.

Reyna would then sleep for days, weeks even. Much longer than needed to heal from the fight due to lack of sleep and food. The whole legion in panic that Reyna may not wake up when she's just catching up on missing sleep.

Her just waking up like 3 weeks later confused as everyone is celebrating, not realising how long it's been

Scipio angst time. He was the purest source of comfort for Reyna, offering no judgement nor confusion. He supported her and carried her throughout her time in new Rome. He died protecting her. He died a Roman death, just like death. Because not even a Pegasus is protected from the altar of sacrifice on which Rome is built. She is soaked in his blood and must kill him in order to relieve him. His blood is on her hands, and her guilt comes not from him not deserving the fate she gave him, but that it was the kindest one she could have.
