Sketch from a while ago of Babkak and Kassim. I really enjoy interactions between these two. There's a lot of snark and sass but you can tell they're really good friends who communicate via insults.

was such a delight getting to see these two fall in love onstage! i adore them, definitely the highlight of the show for me

the little gay minifigures from night at the museum because of the new animated movie coming out

owen wilson and steve coogan will always be jed and octavius to me but I'm still excited to see these two in animated form!

What's your headcanon on Broadway!Iago?

I don't have as many headcanons for Iago, but here are a few:

He has some bird-like mannerisms as a callback to his animated counterpart. For example, I think he would like to snack on common "parrot snacks" like nuts and dried fruits. I also think he would adjust/pull at/smooth his clothes and hair like how birds preen their feathers. Things like that.

He definitely has a journal filled with devious plans.

(Post-show) I don't think they keep him locked in the dungeon for too long, realizing that he could actually help Kassim as the new royal advisor. In the beginning, Kassim struggles with being the new vizier, and Iago knew everything Jafar did as the past advisor, so he becomes Kassim's assistant. The guards keep a very close eye on him for a while, but eventually they realize he's reformed and won't be a threat. He and Kassim actually become friends.

Current BOK. Love these guys.

When you're seeing this, I'll actually be seeing Aladdin on Broadway again with some of my awesome friends for my birthday! Perfect way to celebrate :))
