No This Feeling Is So Crazy Bc I Will Love Something So Much That I Can’t See Fanart/read Fanfiction

No this feeling is so crazy bc I will love something so much that I can’t see fanart/read fanfiction about it because any divorce from the cannon will feel like a betrayal and also a reminder that they aren’t real people 😭😭 I refuse to touch it or change it, I just keep it behind glass and stare at it with big eyes until my obsession fades a bit and I can enjoy it normally again. Also I am aware this makes me sound mentally ill, it is in fact because I am mentally ill, and unfortunately cannot change that about myself 😭💀

reaching the point of hyperfixation where I can no longer engage with it due to the nausea that I experience at the mere thought of seeing it on my screen is the closest I’ve ever been to being diagnosed with female hysteria

I don’t doubt Chappel’s attraction to women, it does seem genuine, but I do wonder if she’s bi and just frustrated with men, and for valid reason. She does have bipolar disorder (she hasn’t talked about it recently to my awareness but she did a while back), and stuff like bipolar, BPD, OCD, etc can make it really hard to figure out what’s your actual sexuality and what’s societal pressure, or what you’re convincing yourself you like, or what’s stuff you’ve been told you should like or dislike, and it can be really confusing, especially while you’re in the spotlight constantly.

I mostly just feel bad for her and hope she can unlearn some of this stuff and get to a better place.

I’m not really understanding what u mean by this? I’m not running my blog to trauma dump my life’s sorrow but I’ve definitely had more than my fair share of horrible experiences including CSA, grooming, conversion therapy, escaping a religious cult, even more SA, and an abusive relationship that included knives being pulled, off the top of my head. I’m just not out here to talk about them in gory detail.

“This should be considered a problem for men” like my bad experiences were caused by men, or I myself am a problem for men somehow? The former is true and I do talk about that but again, I’m not here to go into crazy detail or spend undue attention on past abuse, especially in this post which was supposed to be more positive.

Radical feminism, centering women, and worshipping female deities really turned my life around FAST because what do you mean my constant mental health problems are slowly alleviating, I’m making new female friends, I’ve finally left behind the toxic male friends, I’ve applied to and gotten my first management position, I’m gaining weight and muscle, and I’m talking to a lovely beautiful femme all within this year so far. Like I know radical feminism covers very serious issues too and politically life kind of sucks, but life really is beautiful as well when you center women and female-ness among the chaos. I love rad feminism and I love lesbianism.

This whole idea from Conservatives/the right in general that men are “leaders” is completely a farce even in their own groups, and I can speak to this firsthand because I grew up in it. Super Catholic, church services were all in Latin, women weren’t allowed to wear pants or cut their hair shorter than their shoulders, and they were sporting all of America’s current insane political views a decade before they became more popular. And men still did jack all.

I was running the church choir in all but name by the age of 14, despite the choir director being a man in his 20s. Women handled all the childcare and child rearing, women were the ones who organized everything. Who put up the decorations for each season. Who provided the food. Who kept the church clean and in repair. Who taught the children during Sunday School. They were the ones who made decisions for their families, the ones who kept tabs on everything, the ones who organized playdates and homeschool meetups and church potlucks. Women built everything and men only placed their stamp of approval on it to claim the work.

And I wish more people would WAKE UP to this realization. Being a leader means nothing if you aren’t actually working. Simply sitting on your ass and giving the occasional instruction is not true leadership, nor is it even the servant leadership Christ himself advocated for. Those men were completely useless in the grand scheme of things and we would have continued on without them with relative ease. They hold onto relevancy by forcing women to depend on them financially but that’s all they have to stand on. And it just pisses me off idk this is just a rant

Thinking about how almost every revolution in history came in two waves, one with the force necessary to dethrone the corruption despite how flawed it was, and the second to refine the flaws of the first, but we do nothing because to us now a single mistake wipes out the entirety of the good we have done.

Thinking about how everyone is waiting for someone to start something but nobody is willing to do something.

Thinking about how we’re all waiting for one person to rise up and take charge to lead us but revolutions were always pushed forward by a thousand people rising up and taking charge.

"misandrists are just as bad" i don't see men dying at alarming rates because @/i3atm3n4breakfast said she wishes they would shut the fuck up. i don't see men being forced to cover themselves and not being allowed to speak in public. i don't see them being denied education because they're men. but yes, they are totally alike

And then people try to claim that it’s because being sapphic is “normalized in media” —you mean porn?? Being fetishized is not the same as being accepted, and it’s still incredibly dangerous. Sure maybe some men will ask you for a threesome and then get grumpy when you refuse and leave it at that (which is still sexual harassment) but many other times they get violent when you don’t fulfill their fantasies. Or they try corrective rape.

The real reason this happens is because our collective understanding of sexuality is phallocentric and a lot of people cannot fathom a healthy and fulfilling relationship between two women. Somehow a dick needs to be involved in some way.

Additionally, in terms of actual media, it is in general more accepted to be a homosexual man and gay men get more time, better story development, and way more attention from fans, as a general group.

You know how sometimes people act like homophobia toward women barely exists? I feel like that definitely plays into the way people act toward bisexual women vs men. Like men are oh so brave for coming out as bisexual and braving homophobia to be true to themselves and why would they lie about it when he could have saved face and stay closeted until he dated a man, how brave. vs with women it's like why would she even come out if she's not dating a woman, she's probably faking it for the clout (no mention of bravery for risking homophobia)

“After almost dying of influenza, prolapsing my right lung, wasting away in bed, recovering, drinking 19 gallons of absinthe and snorting pure cocain, I finally realized this!!!”

And it’s literally something I realized when I was 14 and in a literal cult based out of Christianity in which I was only allowed to read the Bible (not exaggerating) because I had a brain and I used it.

male philosophers are unbearable. So shallow yet theyre so praised to the point people will fucking worship them

“Menstruate on it” as a synonym for pondering; sounds familiar enough to “ruminate” to immediately signify the meaning, but with an air of female intuition
