I 'hate' Cats

──► a random stray cat adopts our precious boy .

Jason leans against the cafe wall as he he blows on his coffee before he takes a sip. It's a normal day today - that's funny considering there's always something to do like maybe cleaning his guns or sharpening his knife, but today he just feels lazy.

Jason watches the bustling streets of Gotham go by with a poker face on until he felt something brush up on his leg. Jason screeches , his coffee spilling all over himself before he looks down to see a small fluffy ginger kitty rub against his leg.

Jason scowls . He hates cats because they're so much work to take care of and so bloody hard to bond with . Jason shoots the cat a glare as he begins walking away furious , his slow afternoon ruined by some feline .

The kitty eagerly follows after him through the busy crowd , their little ears perked at him. Jason groans at the sight . " Look, I don't have any treats," Jason says dismissively. The kitty meows in response as they rub against his leg.

Jason groans in annoyance, but he can't argue with the fact that the kitty was cute . Before he could even do anything , someone from the crowd accidentally kicked the feline while they were walking past, causing the cat to whimper in pain.

Jason saw red and literally scooped the kitty in his hands and kissed them all over . " It's okay baby , daddy's got you," Jason coos at the cat. The kitty purs and rub their furry face on Jason's cheek. Jason smiles . Okay, he still hates cats it's just that this one is cute and lovable .

I wrote this bcz I miss my cats sm shout out to oreo , ranni and Bubba my beloved cats.

Also yes Jason is a cat dad .

> au where reader is neglected but like they don't really care ? Like, yeah, it sucks that their own adopted family don't really care about them, but like they make their own life and are happy? Basically, the reader is just a chill guy man.

- approximately eight days pass and nothing particular has happen and reader's life has basically went back to the norm . They come home , eat , workout , study cases , answer emails , scroll on tiktok and go to sleep.

- flash forward to now , reader is in a famous Cafe in Gotham being interviewed by none other than Clark Kent . Clark sits in front of them notepad in hand and he eagerly takes down what ypur saying.

- " So (reader's name ) please tell us all how did you become America's number one attorney so fast ?". Clark asks - eyes gleaming since its not everyday you can get scoop with the infamous reader !.

- reader flashes him a smile. " well Kent I'll be honest - ever since I was young I'd always loved solving puzzles and gradually when I got older I really liked Harvey Specter so I was like hey why not be like him ?"

- Clark laughs as he eagerly writes your answer . The cafe door opens with a giggle and you watch Clark in front of you froze. Curious you turned around to see Bruce fucking Wayne walk in with Damian behind him.

- You immediate scowl - because seriously do they not get the hint that you want nothing to do with them ? Like they left you by yourself for thirteen years and you were doing fine hell you didn't even care- so why now ?

- Bruce and his little copy eagerly walk up to Clark and your's table , pulling chairs from a nearby guest table and sat right next to you .and boy were you pissed because WHY YOU ???.

- " Mr.Wayne honor to meet you and uhhhhh Mr.Al Ghul ?" Clark greets. Damian just scowls at the man but Bruce gives him a nod, " Afternoon Clark I hope you do not mind that my son and I want to join in on ( reader's name ) interview since you know I love to support all my children " .

- Clark gives him a quizzical look but smiles anyways , " Oh no worries but can you please elaborate on how reader's relation to you " . Your swallow whatever rage bubbles in you as you gave Kent a tight lip response of " Mr.Kent I am not related to any Wayne's of any sort there must be some sort of mistake-" until you got abruptly cut off by Damian - which by the way pissed you off so much because why does this little shit have to be everywhere-

-" What ( reader's last name) was trying to say was that they were adopted by my father on the lovely day of Christmas - truly a Christmas miracle since they're the miracle in this family " He says proudly and reader's eyes were just blown open.

- Because first of all her parents got put in jail in May or something , meaning she woulf of been put in their care by like early June and quite as frank no one in that household even celebrated Christmas because they had 'work' *cough* vigilante stuff - not like they cared anyways because they were too busy studying for the board exams .

- " Thats a whole lot of bullshit-" you mumble out as you glared at the little twerp who flashed you a smirk - like who does he think he is ???? You hold yourself back from punching him as you remind yourself that the fine to child endangerment was $200k and frankly you rather spend that on a much needed vacation.

- Clark just nods along and writes down everything ," So Mr.Wayne it's safe to assume that you are very proud of ( reader's name ) and how far they've come !" . Bruce gives him a smile - a smile that makes you feel so disgusted because this man is so sad and delusional .

- " I am very proud of them , I mean they went to Harvard Law !! And they have their own Law firm who wouldn't be proud of them " he boasted and you had to physically hold yourself back because he makes it sound like he was there for you when he wasn't like sir this isn't those slytherin x y/n inserts get your shit together.

- " Mr.Kent thank you for having me but we will have to reschedule " you excused yourself as you got up from your seat and made way to the door before you can hear any response . You were so damn pissed off because seriously - it's weird that they're trying to insert themselves back in your life .

- You were half way out the door when you were tackled to the floor . " (Reader's name ) NUH UH YOU AIN'T ALLOWED TO LEAVE !!" shouted Damian as he held you down to the floor. You flail around helplessly and try to get up only to be pushed down like wtf are they feeding this kid -

- suddenly you feel his weight leave your back and you got up ready to break it when your suddenly scooped into Bruce's hands like your a little baby . The man proceeds to kiss you on your forehead and nuzzle into your cheek all while your trying to get out of his tight grip.

- " It's okay precious girl/boy daddy's got you " He whispers as he walks you to his limbo . You immediately panic . NOT AGAIN . You desperately try to get out but it's too late as Bruce enters his limbo , Damian trailing close behind as he shuts in the door .

- You look around frantically and saw Alfred in the driver seat . " Alfred please help me !! " you plead with him and Alfred just shakes his head . " Mr./Mrs. I believe you have strayed too far from home it's time to go back " . You watch in utter horror and disbelief as he starts the vehicle and drives away .

- " Rest now little one your dad is here for you now " Bruce says before he kisses you forehead and that's when everything goes black for you .

I can see Damien as Draco, lmao.. I can't 😭

- reader is an average person - literally, they're not a vigilante by choice, of course, though even though they don't take part in the vigilante life, it doesn't mean they don't help.

- reader is such a life saviour, especially after a particularly grueling patrol always coming in clutch with hot chocolate they made for everyone in cute matching hello kitty cups because they're girlie pop .

- reader always helps patches everyone up - giving everyone deserved head pats, especially to poor dick because he always goes too hard on himself .

- despite not being a vigilante - reader knows about who they are and what they do - kinda hard not too when Jason is crashing in the loving room couch with a black eye.

- despite having not being as tech savvy as Barbra and Tim , the reader always sits with them - always engaging them in the latest gossip, which helps time pass by faster !

-every morning, Cas and readers literally does hot girl yoga sessions in Cas' rooms because why not ? And of course, they're both giggling about how last night on patrol Damian totally didn't slip and fall when he grappled onto a rooftop.

- every morning before they get ready for school , all the girls are huddled in Stephanie's room, and they're all picking out what matching sweaters they're all repping to school and they're doing each other's eyeliner while Chappel Ronan is blasting in the background <3.

- During lunch , Tim and the reader and a couple of other friends are gathered around a lunch table playing uno - Tim literally always changing up the rules when he's losing which earns a playful smack from reader lol.

- after school , Damian and the reader both at the park playing with Titus in the park and feeding the nearby ducks in the pond . One time Reader fell in the pond and Damian couldn't stop laughing at them for a whole week.

- Jason and reader are always trying to one up each other on who can run up the stairs faster ( fun fact it's neither of them it's actually Alfred ) and they're both always grumpy when he beats them both because wdym an old man is faster than them -.

- reader and Duke always do homework together every night - both literally confused - literally the blind leading the blind because neither of them understands what their homework requires of them.

- dick and reader ends off the night by watching a random series like love island together and both gets way too political on who should end up with who and if either watches an episode without the other ITS BETRAYAL .

- reader and Bruce unironically text and communicate with each other in cringey memes, which only they find funny at this point -

- reader who helps Alfred with menial chores because they wanna spend time with him and plus Alfred is always spilling tea about his missions back in the day like wdym Alfred flirted with the Queen of England once -

- so all in all, despite not being a vigilante , reader is integrated in batfam's life so much so their literally dubbed the favorite sibling .

- like the one day reader spent the day with a friend's, Damian, Duke, Cas and Tim showed up and crashed it because they missed them so much . Reader had 12 missed calls from Bruce , 50+ messages rom Dick accusing them of not loving him because they abandoned him , a video sent from Jason of him eating reader's hidden stash of sweets and a message from steph saying she's stealing reader's hair curler .

- Alfred literally brags about reader like their the only grandchild he has 😭😭.

Overall, chaotic family shenanigans and overall batfam loves reader too much .
