I’m barely settled! But I’m so excited- I tend to avoid social media (just not my thing) but this one’s so unique :) I have a feeling I’ll enjoy it and the folks on it much more!

I’ve even gotten to talk to some pokémon on here! Mind blown!

Pippi thinks she’s building something in the garage. She keeps using her talking pad to signal that 🛸 emoji too haha.

Which could mean nothing!

Woke up to Pi having the zoomies. Apparently she just likes going hogwild at night sometimes.

Specifically she fell off of a shelf in my room, knocking dozens of other things down. She's fine, I had Pippi check her.

She also got into the screwdrivers again and took a clock apart. I forgot to post last time she did this but she keeps using our tools for strange means. We didn't care much for the clock so it's fine but like bbgrl please ur like 2 at most. Ur supposed to be making nonsense with legos and eating rocks. Thats what I did when I was like 2.

Actually we haven't gotten her age checked yet we should do that.

And I should get her some legos actually

Sorry… who is Koko? I’m not too erm… knowledgeable about Ultra Beasts, Mr B. Nor are most people I’d assume? Or maybe I’m particularly sheltered…

But that’s a thing- what usually drives fear is ignorance, and what usually drives discrimination is…well, my classes say it boils down to a conflict of resources, but I think it’s meant to be a broad phrasing.

I know I’d love to learn more about your experiences, and I’m sure others will too.

I know I’m only a student, and maybe it isn’t my place- but make sure you’ve got a good support system around you while you navigate this, yeah? I’m sure you’d want the same for your clients.

I am a therapist in training! I attend Uni for my psych degree! My partner pokemon is Pippy the Chancy (the name made more sense when she was a happiny...but oh well). You are required to have a Chancy to apply for the psych degree, but I happened to already have her ;) She's my icon! In both the literal and blog way.

Pokerating Day 26, Indeedee?

Charm: Very polite, they seemingly live to serve others? They feed on positive emotion so they do what they can to create positive emotion. There's the moral question of wether good deeds done out of self interest are truly good deeds, but honestly I say since it's mutually positive it doesn't matter. 7/10 but thats biased by never seeing this pokemon before and never seeing one in person.

Care: I think this thing would care for itself. If anything it'll probably care for you more than you need to care for it. 10/10?

Safety: According to pokedex data the worst these'll do is chuck some things at you to get you to leave if your vibes are stank nasty. 9/10?

Utility: Blah blah Galar HM nono. I don't think it'd learn any anyways, except maybe strength? It learns nothing that helps with pokemon catching other than heal pulse either. All of these issues are trivial though since its a dedicated butler thats smart enough to likely be taught how to use various tools and probably even electronics. I bet you could, if dedicated enough, teach one to do your taxes. 10/10. Sure it probably can't learn cut or dig but you could just give it shears or a shovel and it could probably do the same thing.

Battle: I... huh. Apparently these are a menace in double battles. Their hidden ability, psychic surge, is essentially a signature ability since the only other mon known to have it is the legendary Tapu Lele. Psychic terrain nullifies competitive staple moves like sucker punch and fake-out from grounded opponents and almost doubles the power of the already strong expanding force, which also hits both opponents. These factors, combined with also getting trick room, make it one of the strongest double battle support pokemon out there. Note that only the male form can learn expanding force itself along with psychic noise (and other moves), while the female form is slower but can learn follow me, reflect, light screen, and other utility moves. The female variant is usually considered better due to the move follow me. These are two pokemon used exclusively in the highest ranking doubles tournaments and that gets them a 7/10, not higher since they're more enabler than actual win condition and limited use to only the one format.

Final Score:

Charm: 7/10 (subjective)

Care: 10/10 (honestly maybe even 11/10)

Safety: 9/10

Utility: 10/10

Battle: 7/10

Score: 43/50(!!!)

Pet Score: 26/30

Trainer Score: 17/20

Notes: I... what an unexpected winner of the ranking system. Honestly I wouldn't be against it getting 10/10 in charm and safety but I would need to interact with them more to say with certainty. I didn't know this thing existed until now actually.
