silly samurais !! ever since i first saw goemon i knew i has to draw something like this,,
My first painting in a series of 3 I’m making! This one is called Urania, and the other two will be Clio and Euterpe. Approx 80cm tall.
Hermits 'n Friends day: Skizzleman! he chose drama over continuing to live and tbh iconic
Completed the autopsy in the ice-bear fridge, which was the first piece of detective work i felt accomplished from in this game
Purple Pikmin Winning the Emperor's Cup, by me
some older helmet designs! they're loosely based off the Agarthans from FE3H, but we have so little info on those guys that these may as well be original. Design notes under the 'read more'! part two and part three
So my overall idea for these is that they're a status symbol and personal identifier amongst generals within 'Those Who Slither', and they're not really meant to be as defensive as a regular helmet, due to their powerful magical and technological defenses. They're mostly meant to inspire fear and awe. For all of these, I tried to alter the silhouette/read of the human head, and incorporate or alter the eyes in some way, as I feel it's the number one identifier of another person, and removing that adds to the sense of fear of the unknown/inhumanity.
First one is pretty obviously just me trying to incorporate as many horns as possible onto a skull until it has a unique silhouette. The faceplate is based on an animal skull.
The middle one is a bunch of crab-like legs, which in my mind twitch over the armour. Crustaceans have a complex set of plates on the underside where their many legs meet, and I wondered how it would look if all the legs curled over a face. The last one is a horse's skull with a bunch of accessory, and represents the glorification of war. It has a big Roman plume, chariot-wheel designs on the spaulders, blood-like beads from the tasseled headress, a red ribbon out the back, and a halberd-shaped spike on the front. The spikes on the shoulders are three-sides blades, which produce irregular, difficult-to-heal wounds.
A crossover of two games I've been playing lately. Can't wait for AAI2!
sketch of the Astral Library for Day 3: Favourite Build. Not sure i've settled on a favourite, but i was amazed when i saw this one
Raffles Week day 2! Today is 'poetry', so I chose The Gift of the Emperor, as it's the subject of Bunny's poem that starts of this story.
