Dazai & glasses:

In “Dazai Osamu’s Entrance Exam”, it was Kunikida and Ranpo who first saw the darkness in Dazai. It was stated by Kunikida that the first time he laid his eyes on Dazai, there was already something off about him.

And in the scene where Ranpo asked Dazai about his background, Dazai replied with a lie. It wasn’t stated but you just know that Ranpo (via Super Deduction) probably figured out Dazai’s (general) background.

Kunikida and Ranpo saw the darkness in Dazai and though their reactions are quite different, both chose not to comment on it.

Both of these characters saw through Dazai’s “clownish” act. And both of these characters wear glasses.

I love how the official artwork for No. 6 always looks so soft, yet it’s a series about genocide, militarism, disease, and corruption in a post-apocalyptic setting. But here’s just 2 dudes chilling in the grass with their pet mice.
