My friend told me I couldn't make a 122 slide, 2 hour presentation about these two and not do fanart of them.
Was pretty hesitant to post fanart since it's always bound to get more attention and initially I wanted to focus on my comic,
but focus what focus? These two have infested my brain
tbh I haven't drawn a fully coloured digital piece in a while so this was a warm up
INKTOBER 2024 // HORIZON
Cutting it really heckin close but HEY WE MADE IT BEFORE MIDNIGHT
I wish I had more time to put more effort into this because this comic is dear to me and the detail is insane and I wanted to study the detail, but was held up with events
I recommend giving The Horizon by Ji-hun Jeong, incredible story and art, but trigger warning for really heavy topics
Based on a true story
posting all my inktober so far since I'm planning to do the whole month. Would be kinda wonk if I just started at day 12
A lot of my irl friends know I have been refusing to draw fanart for the last couple of years or so, only doing so once in a blue moon cuz I wanted to focus on my comic
i did not in fact focus on my comic and I think it's very safe to say that my fanart ban has been lifted
it's a scene from journey to the west but drawn really poorly cuz I forgot I was doing inktober this year
Heavily based off an old concept art of Iruka, his design in the last episode of Shippuden and Taryn_Cosplay's cosplay/redesign of naruto (mainly the shoulder pads) on instagram
Also added more character elements because in a Fuuinjutsu Master Iruka AU I'd feel like he would he more well known for his skills and I really like exploring the potential familial relationships he has with the Sarutobis.
