Everyone’s been making analysis videos on Maddy—on how to be “That Girl”—but honestly, I think what really makes Maddy iconic is that she stands up for herself. At the core of it, I feel like that’s why so many people look up to characters like her. Standing up for yourself is literally the HOTTEST thing you can do. It's the only thing that truly passes the test of real confidence, imo.

I’m not saying she’s perfect or always outspoken in every situation (who is ?), but her character shows someone who has learned to be her biggest advocate and best friend in this life. And that alone is powerful. She fights for herself at least 90% of the time—and that’s more than what most people can say.
