Will: Being a good person doesn't cost a peny
Drew: Being a bitch also doesn't cost a peny, what's your point?
Will: Nyssa, make Drew shut the fuck up
Nyssa: Not possible
I agree, like I kinda understand that she neglected Rebecca because she focused on Emily ( I understand but I don't agree, Mallory is a shit mom) and I get grieving over your dead daughter, but why continue neglecting the one who's still there? On top of that, asking Rebecca to her face why all her children are dead as if she's not one of her children, plus blaming her for Emily's death? She was still just a teen! like WTF!
Chapter 51 of the final gambit hurt so much. Rebecca deserves the world,I really don’t understand why the hell mallory can’t love/appreciate rebecca like we get it Emily was sick and fragile but why neglect rebecca???
Jason's character arc was... something. In The Lost Hero, his quest for self-identity was promising and intriguing. But, the problems start seeping in with the House of Hades, where his arc is tied haphazardly and nebulously to a single choice: Greece or Rome. Now this isn't that bad per se; if it had been in skilled hands, this choice could've resulted in a somewhat satisfactory character arc. But since it was Rick, there were issues. For starters, the conflict regarding his choice between the two sides should've been fleshed out a lot more than it was in canon. There was hardly a paragraph or two dedicated to the conflict, and it was rather disappointing.
Secondly, Rick could've made it so much more interesting, or used this choice to develop a more intricate character arc. For example, maybe Jason has false expectations of freedom at camp halfblood, only for him to realise that it's hardly better than camp Jupiter, and that demigods are pawns regardless of their parentage. His arc could than be based around him addressing and dealing with this disillusionment.
Helping Hades with Persephone
Zeus: Dude I’ll help you out, I’ve done this hundreds of times
Hera: Don’t listen to him, he’s never had a stable relationship in his entire life
SO TRUE!
Those people are the type of to say that Luke got into Elysium
I made the mistake of going on the r/camphalfblood subreddit and there were people angrily slandering my daughter Drew for the “Silena was a traitor” comment and saying that they hated her and some people were joking about Clarisse/Percy beating her up or even killing her. It makes me so mad because while I can understand being mad at Drew for that statement, a lot of the hatred felt really out of line and like they were just itching for an excuse to hate her and hurl the most vile of insults at her as much as possible. And it’s messed up because it’s clearly the fault of Rick for victim-blaming Silena and putting those words in Drew’s mouth, and I can guarantee you that if Drew was a guy then people would say “oh how dare Rick make him say that? He’s awful but he’s not that awful! Drew deserved so much better rip my boy Rick could have fleshed him out beyond being just a bully but he didn’t” but because she’s a girl all of the culpability falls on her shoulders and she gets treated like the scum of the earth for a line that Rick only gave her to make her look like the worst of the worst because he REFUSES to write her as a person with any depth beyond the Asian Airhead primadonna feminine mean girl trope. It just sucks man Drew deserves so much better she deserves intersectional feminist writers who aren’t racially misogynistic scumbags and will let her get the character development arc that she deserved. This turned out longer than I thought it would but oh well I’m just salty about the hate for my girl Drew again. 😤
Pjo be getting more mad at women for reacting badly to abuse than at men for abusing women💀💀💀💀💀
I think we ignore the fact that Daring grows flowers with the light from his teeth
It's no longer a head canon as I deem this to be 100% true
Hc that Drew is extremely bad at comforting people
i love liking characters i know for i fact i would not get along with in real life
like i’ll defend drew tanaka until the day i die but i would be absolutely terrified of her if we went to the same school
jameson hawthorne is an interesting character and a fun read and he’s smart but i honestly think i’d steer clear of him cause hawthornes are bad news
Here's the fan fic I've been talking about, only one chapter so far but I'll try to update frequently
