How to make these pinbadges!! For @phant0mc1d3 and anyone who wants to make them :]

You need a metal bottle cap, a can tab, a saftey pin and pliers!!

(As well as paint and see-through nail polish or protective varnish for decorating :] )

First, you bend the tab so it's curved enough that you can put the saftey pin through the two holes without forcing it (There's a picture of the back of one of my pins for reference!!)

Then put the tab in the cap so that it bends outwards (the smooth side should be facing the top :] )

Then you use your pliers to bend in the sides of the bottle cap and secure the tab in place!! (I have jewelery pliers but Needle nose ones will work very well too)

After that, check again that you can put your saftey pin through the holes, and that you can swivel it around so the pin part is on the outside so it can be attached to fabric

(If not, don't worry! You can use your pliers to reposition things slightly :] )

Now you can paint it!! Yaay!! I use very thin acrylic paints, and when it's dry i put a coat see-through nail varnish on top to protect from scratches :3

You made a thing! You have a badge now! Very cool :3

Like the woman with an emotional support wasp hive. People commented “does the hive sing to you?” ENOUGH TIMES THAT SHE LITERALLY MADE A POST MENTIONING IT. and I just saw a post about a guy saying he needs to dig and everyone was like “is there dig on every page?” God I love this fandom
