a teacher in australia asked her students to design a monster and then made a stuffed animal for all 22 designs. this is the sixth year in a row she's done this. this is the article about it, where you can read more as well as see more pictures from the project.

Pretty rich boy Touya who's only interested in little dorky poor boy Keigo, with old boots and holey sweaters, a book bag that isn't really much of a bag, and try as he does to keep himself clean only his wings seem to ever come out new. 

Keigo, who carries with him a tattered 'ol ducky plush wherever he goes and fades from one quiet corner of the classroom to the other ends of the playground, beneath the trees older than life and keeps to himself.

His brown paper bag pulls taut as his side, flatter than even their picture books, as he munches on a slice of bread and the birds gather at his feet. But like some kind kin of their own, they merely peck at the grounds, never fighting him for his food. 

Keigo is never the center of attention, never the track of spotlights, his voice softer than his mother's lullabies, but Touya tracks him across every room and all of the playgrounds all the same.

One look at Keigo and everyone else doesn't exist. No amount of dirt will ever cover him in the eyes of little Touya.

back on my drawings shit, we now have cassie! here's the sketch, colors, just the drawing and then the full page!

I'm really proud of the color scheme since I kept it somewhat cohesive (as much as you can with crayola colored pencils), and I love her outfit. I shortened her hair, and made her buns bigger too, as well as including the garter holder thingy from her Easter outfit.

As for the ship list, it is extended, but I ran out of room. The yellow one is Roxxy, btws.

I made her have a long torso and be a bit chubbier because artistic freedom. And also we need more midsize girlies in crush crush.

the ft. Character is Cassie, from dragon tales, since I couldn't find any other characters named cassie.
