Both of my mad scientist characters, but drawn as the video game characters they were most inspired by (Ne'Mon as Monomon and Tawny-Buzzard as Doctor H.B)
ultrabright colors and gradation map my beloved
[Start ID. Three color variations of the same messy sketch on a white background. Each one depicts V1 from Ultrakill, in the same pose as the protagonist on the cover for Doom. They're standing on a pile of gore rather triumphantly and lifting a Husk with one arm, by where its collar would be. The original drawing was in bright red, yellow, and blue, and the two others are in much softer palettes, one shades of green and the other purple through yellow. End ID]
haven't drawn the bugs of fable in so long...
(feat. another rather static-y Swap AU Neo, from @professorneolith , because I still think it's a cool idea)
[Start ID. Two flat, unshaded drawings of Bug Fables characters on white backgrounds. The first is of Professor Neolith, a moth drawn in maple tones. He appears to be floating, with his legs bent and wings unused. One hand snaps, and his other palm faces the ground. He has a slight smile and seems altogether relaxed. A halo of electricity encircles him and two bolts extend from one hand. The second drawing depicts Leif, another moth, drawn in extremely bright colors. He is less relaxed, in the midst of a fight, with large spikes of ice circling around his feet. Two of his wings and his lower body splay outwards and to the left, and he is sharply bent at the waist, hunched over. One arm is raised, as though he was casting the ice magic visible below him. End ID]
Mimic!!
How come every time I draw lifeblood butterflies it like. Changes style. What that about
Ok it's been two months and I haven't finished any of the three things related to it that I've been working on for two weeks and am also impatient so it's Dishonored. Dishonored is the new hyperfixation
Maybe it's a bit unexpected for the bug games artist, but I rented it around six years ago and only got to the flooded district, I've been occasionally wondering about it since, so I bought it December 31st and now I'm midway through the Brigmore Witches with half the achievements and a Clean Hands run completed
[Start ID. A drawing of @mieczmaszyna 's character Izzy. In the words of its creator, Izzy is a humanoid robot with a white chassis, oval head, black headset, square green glasses, claws, and a tail resembling a cable plug. Ai wears a cowboy hat, vest decorated by a star and bottle cap, pants with tassels, spurred boots, and a red bandanna. He's viewed from the side, kicking up one leg and holding both arms out in front of itself to shoot finger guns, looking excited and rather jaunty. The background is a dull yellow-green, muddied by the warm reddish tone of the drawing, and in paler green are the words "BANG BANG!!" by ais arms. End ID]

Heya, I'm Peridots, your average digital artist/entomology enthusiast—they/it/he or any pronouns, please! Haven't actually posted much art in quite a while, so be prepared for occasional Bug Facts and other such randomness. Spam likes and such are all appreciated here! Terfs, zionists and the like can turn 180° for free, however! Profile art by original-character-chaos—oooooh looks like someone sent me perfectly pfp-shaped gift art of my sona a little too close to april fools!
