I'm rereading flatland becuase It was the inspiration for Bill cipher's backstory and it's like almost funny how depressing existence in Flatland is. Like they live in a hierarchical govement when your killed if your angels are to unequal. There is a shape base cast system where parents what there kids to be circulars so bad that if there baby's even stand a change they'll put them in this " gymnasium" to prove they and most of the kids die, and worst of all there's no belive in love at least amoung men witch this book is sexiest so that's all that matters. Color has been outlawed. You go to work and you go home in a grey world where nobody loves you the most you can hope is to be born with repect. You know if I lived like that yeah Bill liberate me I'd want to die.
