My Dude Just Brought A Bag Of Sausages To Work For Lunch. Not Even In Their Regular Packaging, Just A

My dude just brought a bag of sausages to work for lunch. Not even in their regular packaging, just a large ziplock bag of sausages.

What a legend.

My friend and I decided that in a DSMP Batman AU, BBH would be Bruce Wayne, Sapnap would be Dick Grayson, Skeppy would be Catwoman, and Antfrost would be Alfred.

My brother just posted on his socials that he asked our parents if they were happy with their lives and that they said yes, which is crazy because every time I'm the one asking they always deflate and say no, that they wished it had been different, that they're tired but they're too old to try and change anything so they're just going to wait it out until death. So either they're lying to one of us, or a secret second thing I can’t conceive of.

@duskianfae YOU GET IT. No Because Listen, That Was Almost Exactly My Thought Process.

@duskianfae YOU GET IT. No because listen, that was almost exactly my thought process.

I see your "Kaveh gets hurt and Alhaitham is forced to face his feelings and confesses before it's too late", but I raise you: "Alhaitham gets hurt and confesses because he's too out of it to have the filter that's usually keeping him from complimenting Kaveh at every turn"

The one time I ever got caught passing notes in class left me very confused, because it had been reading time and the teacher always let us do our own thing as long as we were quiet, so while she was reading, I gave the girl next to me a note saying that I liked her drawing. She wrote back with another compliment, and we just exchanged them back and forth a few times before the teacher suddenly snapped up the paper and read it. She often read notes out loud to the class, but she didn’t that time, and then she told us to not write notes again. Excuse me, miss, this is READING TIME AND YOU ARE INTERRUPTING THE CLASS BY STOPPING A COMPLIMENT EXCHANGE

Was looking at my face in the mirror after getting a haircut that is similar to my mother's and I was like "Wow I look like my mom. . . And you know I see some of my dad in there too." Like no 😱 You don't say?????

I will point out the most obvious things like it’s a novelty.

"Wow, Dad, Uncle looks so much like you!"

"That’s because he's my brother."

"Yeah. And he LOOKS it."

Or

"Wow, *voice actor* really sounds like *character*!"

"He voices him."

"Yeah, and he sounds like him too! :)"

While the plot of Barbie Princess Charm School (2011) is often criticized on the seemingly ridiculous method of assigning the scholarship via lottery, this in actuality works as a larger allegory for the world of higher academia: Madame Privet states that only 27% of the “lottery girls” graduate, and Blair, who comes from a lower class background, suffers, in addition to social ostracization on account of her socio-economic background, a learning curve, as she struggles with concepts that the other girls, who were all raised to be princesses, take for granted. We can presume, then, that the other girls who graduated were very likely from socio-economic backgrounds that encouraged them to receive training ahead of time in, for example, etiquette, history, geography, etc., giving them a distinct advantage in the system while disadvantaging girls from lower class backgrounds. The only means for students such as Blair to gain social mobility is via a mentor based system, in which a teacher, such as Madame Privet, personally oversees their education. While the scholarship maintains the illusion of equality, therefore, there is no equity in the system. We might compare this to the modern American academic system, which overwhelmingly claims to be merit-based while also overwhelmingly privileging students who can, for example, pay for extensive testing or an expensive undergraduate or MA degree. Furthermore, the emphasis on letters of recommendation puts an overwhelming pressure on students to maintain a good relationship with their supervisors which can in fact hide abusive power dynamics. In this essay I will….

Sometimes I wonder if I’m actually autistic or if I’m making it up, but just now I hovered my cursor over the red bar on YouTube, and I very literally and physically felt the left side of my head buzz when the cursor was on the left side, and I was shivering until I put the cursor on the right side to balance it out, and only when I put the cursor in the middle did both sides of my head buzz at an equal frequency. Which I don’t think is normal.

The great thing about Tumblr is that I can share my thoughts with the world. I’ve always liked having private thoughts, but having someone know what they are every once in a while and respond is rather nice as well. No one’s really paying attention here, so I can say what I want, and if someone likes it, they can see it and move on. I’ve shared it. And very few people will know. Unless I somehow for some reason become famous, then something went wrong along the way.
