Hey, I Was Hust Wondering If You Were Able To Sell Any More Hard Copies Of Your Bobby Therapist Zine?

Dreamed that I opened a book an there were beetles hiding in the pages. I turned the page and there was a snake. I flipped the book over but the snake came at me. I grabbed it’s tail and smashed it against the wall but it wouldn’t die. I wrapped it up in plastic bags to suffocate it but I could feel its body thrashing. I felt terrible. I didn’t want to prolong its suffering but I didn’t want it to hurt me.

Dreamed that there was a tornado outside the house. Everything was dark and the whole house was shaking and when I looked out the window, I could see the tail of the tornado dragging down the road. I lay down on my stomach and put my hands over the back of my head. My grandmother walked through the dark and shaking house as if nothing were wrong.

"Pretty Bunny/Ugly Hare"

Something of a continuation on the theme of "fuck your fascist cuteness standards."

Inspired by the Playboy Bunny as a restrictive concept of American female beauty, the different connotations of the words "bunny" and "hare," and overhearing a pregnant woman discuss her fears that her unborn child would be born with a "hare lip," because that had "just ruined" Joaquin Phoenix's face.

This is the first time that I've really tried mixing a more deliberately stylized look with traditional painting, and I am very pleased with how that turned out.

Dreamed that I was staying at a hotel that was similar to our apartment building in manhattan — old and funky. For some reason, Benedict Cumberbatch was staying in the hotel too.

I stepped out of my room to go have a cigarette. I was wearing my red long johns. I ran into Cumberbatch in the hall. He was also wearing red long johns. I congratulated him on his excellent fashion choices and he gave me a very nice hug.

Xmas gift for my mom. A portrait of me (and my mullet), my partner (and his beard), the cat, and the plants.

As much as I would like to do a big fancy project for Inktober I’m also being realistic that won’t happen, between workstudy & internship. So if I do a page of ink doodles a day, that’ll be an accomplishment.
