“So there is no peace in the future,” Naori muttered, somewhat disappointed by the revelation. So many years of war only for it to never stop. “From the way you look, you must not care about peace. How terrible… but let me show you what true peace is…”
“So you are the leader of my clan from the future, what a surprise that a man like you has managed to give them a safe place to exist. Tell me, is there peace in the world in the were you live, or is it worse?” Naori asked the man. Her eyes taking in the terrifying armor that had seen so many battles as well as her sword. The hairs on her arms stood up as she felt the man's terrifying aura.

madara’s gaze fixated on the kunoichi, his brows raised in suspicion. he smirked, “it’s futile to dream of the world being entirely peaceful. a fever dream.”

Naori had finished sharpening her two swords when she heard the voice of the young man who had become quite familiar to her. She didn't get up from the rock she was sitting on.
When she looked up, she wasn’t too surprised to see him. Shisui — as he had said his name was — was a young Uchiha who had been found floating in a river, apparently unconscious, with his eyes injured and his body poisoned, and, wearing strange clothes.
The clan's doctors had managed to remove the poison from his system. They had also managed to save the young man's eyes, which had now also miraculously recovered.
The young Uchiha's eyes had been damaged. Apparently, his attacker had tried to rip his eyes out, but luckily, the person responsible had not succeeded. His eyes were only injured, but little by little the young man was showing signs of improvement.
Naori smiled faintly at the young Uchiha’s enthusiasm, finding in him a kind of younger brother figure.
"Yes, I would like to."
I know it's not canon but I really love that Izanami had been created in the anime by an Uchiha woman, Naori Uchiha.
note the symbolic gesture of reaching for your opponent to come near her. To escape Izanami you have to surrender to her and to yourself
Metaphorically, Sharingan works like a defensive answer to an emotional agression : loss, trauma ect... It reaches domination onto other from the inside, by creating or taking others into powerful illusions.
And since we've exclusively seen men using the Sharingan at there finest Sasuke, Madara, Obito, Itachi to quote the best of them. We've seen the most masculine expression of the Sharingan. It's about breaking emotionally the opponent. They transform it into something strongly offensive.
Izanagi for instance is about defying death itself, while normally everyone is passive to death you have to submit to it at some point. But by resisting it turns as a very agressive jutsu. It's defying natural cycle of time.
Sasuke's speciality is the use of Amaterasu (Enton), born from his extensive burning hate for Konoha. Notice as well Hate and Passion are close feeling. Passion in etymology comes from the latin -pati meaning suffering, being tested, enduring. This emotion acts as a destructive fire who can't be extinguish except by love (water/emotion)
Madara even if (strangely) we don't know his speciality, there is no doubt that he uses it as a deadly weapon at a terrifying scale. By the way, his own powerful hate is vanquished by a Mother, Kaguya the Mother of all Shinobi, the original water.
Itachi trapped people inside his world, but chooses to torture them. not shows them their favourite dream.
Obito has probably the less aggressive version of Sharingan, Kamui makes the owner retreat even partially in an other dimension. but still it shows to be so efficient to...wiped out his own clan! And manipulating different people from far away location.
In the anime, Izanami is shown to be a female version of Sharingan and in my opinion it's the most powerful of all Sharingans. Can you imagine for a sec? you can change someone from the inside, by their own will? It's like a baptism. You kill his own self and bring them back to life as a new person. . They do their own introspection, face their own demons and make peace with themselves. The ultimate peacemaker.
That's why I'm expected a lot from Sarada (maybe too much). Symbolically, women are the best at understanding the Inton/Yin energy in depths. They are just naturally "built" to get easily in introversion. By the fact their reproductive organs are hidden, they are submit to internal cycles, they create live inside themselves, they receive their partner inside themselve ect... I'm not saying men can't do introversion, or can't be receiver but it's just coming more evident to women. In this logic I've always find it strange that there is no high level female users of Sharingan in the manga.
As an illustration, Itachi's tsukuyomi was imperfect when he was still alive. He can only kill them mentally but can't bring them back to life. It's only Edo Itachi understood his past mistake and by using Izanami on Kabuto, he reaches perfection in his own use of Sharingan. He destroyed Kabuto physically in escaping and cancelling Edo tensei and resurrects him as a new person rather than just killing him.
But now we have Sarada. And technically the last heiress since Uchiha clan seems to work as a patriarchal clan. I think her power will be something similar to Izunami but at a larger scale. Probably Itachi's story first and then Madara's story will have a different resonance on her than her father. Maybe she would solve what is blatantly missing in Naruto's world : Inner Peace. And who knows maybe in the end of Boruto, Sarada will sacrifice both her eyes and Sharingan users will disappear forever as a price to pay for reaching true peace.
I know they will never met, but wow their vibes together is so...🔥🔥🔥 ! Imagine if he was her sensei, the glow up👀
Naori moved quickly when she saw the pink-haired woman lose consciousness. Fortunately, she managed to catch her in her arms before she hit the ground.
Gently, she placed a hand on the young woman’s forehead, noticing that she had a slight fever. While Naori’s face remained calm, inside she was filled with worry and unease.
Slowly but steadily, she lifted the woman onto her back, making sure not to hurt her by accident. Luckily, the young woman wasn’t heavy enough to make it a challenge for Naori.
She carried the unconscious woman through the forest, keeping her eyes focused on the path ahead. She moved as quickly as possible but with care, determined to get her to safety as soon as she could.
After what felt like a long journey, Naori finally reached her destination.
The Uchiha clan, known for its majesty, wealth, and power, had a main hidden stronghold but also maintained secret and temporary settlements for emergencies. The southern inn —where they now found themselves— was one of these locations. It was a small ryokan-style cabin situated in a secluded clearing within the forest. Surrounded by dense foliage for natural concealment, it was further protected by genjutsu scrolls to ensure its secrecy, made by the younger brother of the village leader as a peace gift for the clan.
Naori brought the unconscious woman inside the cabin, laying her briefly on the tatami floor while she prepared a futon. Once it was ready, she carefully moved the woman onto it and covered her with a blanket to ensure she could rest.
For a moment, Naori considered taking her to the rest of the clan, but she dismissed the thought immediately. The clan’s current situation was too delicate with some members deserting to seek more power, and a stranger’s presence would not be warmly received, especially during such a tense time.
The inn’s interior was surprisingly clean and cozy, given how rarely it was used. Still, Naori couldn’t shake the feeling that this place, like so many others, would likely vanish in the future, becoming yet another forgotten remnant of the clan’s history.
Naori resisted the urge to sigh, instead she sat in the Uchiha clan seiza style next to the futon where the pinkette was, just waiting patiently for the young woman to wake up.
The pinkette looked around, trying to navigate where the heck she was.
The fourth shinobi war didn't go as planned, and survivors were forced to retreat and flee to seek shelter from the moon goddess. Then that idiot, Naruto did something and smacked the ground with chakra infused and used some sort of reverse summoning and now she ended up here.
". . . Where am i?" Sakura looked around. She was still in her jonin pants, one of her sleeves still missing, the burn mark still eminent on her right arm, it stung still like a son of a bitch. The girl was covered in scratches. bruises and her candyfloss hair was covered in dirt, but her priority now lay in finding out where the fuck she was and how to get back where she belonged, even though she was dangerously low on chakra, so she had trouble sensing around her surroundings as well.
"This forest is like a maze!" She whined after a good thirty minutes of walking, flopping down on the ground tiredly.
She wandered, trying to navigate as best as she could within the forests, unaware of the pair of eyes watching her.
// A little hello from my favorite muse, Sakura!
Naori watched the pink-haired woman from her position.
Her clothes—unlike anything she had ever seen before—were worn, as if she had come out of a tough fight. Her hair, the color of cherry blossoms in spring, was dirty and slightly disheveled, giving her a messy appearance.
She noticed how the woman could barely walk. A civilian? Impossible; her arms bore muscles that symbolized strength. A farmer’s daughter? Unlikely; they were too far from the nearest village that wasn’t under the Uchiha clan’s domain.
Was the woman the daughter of a clan member? She didn’t think so. Her hair was far too striking, and if that were the case, word would have spread of an Uchiha with that hair color. Another clue that disproved her deduction was the woman’s eyes, resembling those jade-colored gemstones.
Her Sharingan spun, trying to discern whether this was a trap to lure someone in. That seemed the most likely explanation.
The Uchiha clan had been fractured by internal war between those who hungered for more power, causing many to turn on one another. Some used decoys, forcing civilians or travelers to play the role of bait to lure in the more compassionate members of the rival group, only to ambush them.
She was about to turn away, convinced this was nothing but a trap, when the pink-haired woman suddenly sat down, trying to catch her breath and sweating.
Naori noticed the small tremors in the woman’s arms; she was exhausted. That was when she realized this was no trap after all.
Slowly, but cautiously, she approached the woman from behind. As soon as she stopped behind the pink-haired stranger, she spoke in a calm, gentle tone:
“Excuse me, miss.”

"I see there's another Uchiha...."
Obito eyed Naori carefully.
‘An Uchiha from another era’ Naori thought as she looked at the man in front of her.
His face covered by a mask putting her at a disadvantage of knowing his true identity, of knowing who the real him is. But his Sharingan shone like a firefly in the darkness of his mask, like a blood-drenched moon seeking to be noticed in the gloom of the night. Was he hiding from the truth or from the real him without wanting to face the consequences?, “From your appearance, I suppose you are not interested in showing your identity to the world, even to you.” Naori spoke, she paused for a moment to gather her thoughts, “Who are you…?”
"yeah i know the hurt is worth it" (Itachi Uchiha)
Naori blinked softly at the man's words. His pale skin, dark circles and stress marks under his tired eyes revealed the young man's pain without the need for him to tell her.
'How much did people hurt him? How many people failed him?' She asked herself. And despite the pain she could see in those eyes as deep as the legends she heard as a child about the open sea, she also saw the fierceness in his gaze beneath the tiredness and emptiness of his eyes. He is like a broken warrior with his sword about to break but still fighting for a goal.
"I know that too" was the only thing she answered knowing that no one else but him and her along with others would say the same.
@musedbyalli
emerges from hiatus thinking once again about Naruto; specifically the Uchiha 🖤
I feel like we are not talking enough about the fact that Sasuke and Itachi are the sons of a police officer. Imagine a no-massacre AU where their respective friend group comes up with some brain-dead idea that will most definitely get them in trouble.
Sasuke: "NOOOO. That's illegal. I don't want to sit in an interrogation room with my dad or his work buddies."
Itachi: "Wouldn't it be humiliating for the police captain if his son ended up being a criminal offender, though? Anyway, ANBU-issued legal immunity goes brr"
