this episode was just so heartbreaking but so good. killua loves gon so much. while killua thinks of how unqualified and weak he is, there’s gon being a positive force of energy. and killua doesn’t believe he deserves it. oh my god this scene destroyed me. killua felt so much guilt over what he did even though it was in their best interest AND kite wanted them to go. killua beats himself up over his decision and gon responds with kindness. THIS EPISODE WAS JUST SO WELL DONE AND WELL WRITTEN I CAN NOT GET OVER IT. i watched it last night and i'm STILL thinking about it.

i love when kagehina eat together in official arts. reminds me of the saying “I love you. I want us both to eat well.” it’s so comforting to see them enjoying a snack or meal together. fuel your bodies!!! grow strong!!

i really do think hakyona is the perfect example of a slowburn. the pining, the angst, the 100+ chapters until a confession. kusanagi wrote peak slowburn and i will always be grateful.

Hinata Shoyo is the perfect protagonist because he is allowed to be immature, to be selfish, to be childish and whimsical his whole life… all while reminding the audience that nothing is more powerful than bettering yourself. Nothing will get you further in life than self work and Furudate pumped that value into Hinata like steroids into his favorite Pokémon

out of all the haikyuu ships, kagehina has always been the one i’ve loved the most. not even JUST in haikyuu but it’s my favorite ship across ALL media. they started off having a team and being alone to forming a connection so strong it transcends distance and time. they’re so comforting to me. the idea that kageyama & hinata will always have someone that understands them makes me feel so happy. it was their fateful meeting at karasuno that started it all for them. a rivalry for life. a partner forever. i love them so very much.

i just LOVE finding a ship that is built on such amazing writing, and you can see how the characters impact one another. romantic or platonic, being able to watch two characters grow closer in such beautifully intimate ways is one of the best parts of consuming media. you can see all the author's hard work pay off with each interaction. it's so beautiful. and all the people that create fanart, edits, fanfics, of these ships pay all the love forward. it's such a beautiful and fun way to appreciate media. there is nothing better than discovering a new ship and falling in love with the characters as a pair AND individuals.
