Can my husband do this please 😂 it's been a year of trying, maybe we need a new approach 🤪🫠
Can’t stop thinking about trying for a baby with Bakugou.
You[7.05PM]: I’m ovulating.
Bakugou raises a brow from across the room after reading the text you’d just sent him. A bottle of beer perched in his other hand as Sero and Kirishima continue their conversation either side of him.
Since having the discussion about trying for a baby, neither of you had managed to find any spare time together to try. Your conflicting work schedules paired with social engagements had meant that time together was few and far between, seeing more of him on the news than in real life as of late.
“What?” Bakugou mouthed to you as you tilted your head towards the bathroom, narrowing his eyes in confusion.
You tried to take a sip of your drink, motioning towards Mina’s bathroom as your friends continued to chatter around the living room.
Deciding to send another text to your perplexed boyfriend as you made a scene emptying your glass, downing the liquid as you motioned that you were going to grab another drink before leaving the room.
You[7.10PM]: Bathroom now.
There was a slight rap against the door as you opened it, tugging your boyfriend into the pink room in haste. Your hands poised on his arms as he kept you pinned between his body and the counter inside the small downstairs toilet.
“What the fuck are you doin’, woman?” Bakugou couldn’t hide the amused smirk on his face as he motioned towards the door, “You actin’ like a randy teenager or something?”
“We can’t waste time,” You practically whined, moving to paw at his jeans as you noticed in amusement that he was already half hard, “Now’s the best time to try—”
“How’d you know?” Bakugou didn’t stop you from unbuckling his belt, letting the leather hang in the loops as you moved to attack the zipper.
“I downloaded this app to help track my cycle.” You replied as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“There’s an app for that?” He snorted.
“Yeah,” You grinned, “It tells me the best time to try and conceive.”
“You don’t need that shit,” Bakugou scoffed, moving his large palms against your hips to turn you to face the mirror. Crimson eyes staring back at you in your reflection as he gave you a smug grin, “You really think I need help fuckin’ a baby into ya?”
Crying cause I had a draft that was a quarter way done and it disappeared
"WHY CANT IT BE ME GOD DAMMIT" 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Pro hero Bakugou crashing into a building from a villain flinging him across the block. “Damn,” he grunts, sitting up from the rubble and smoke with his back aching from the impact.
And he looks around to gather his surroundings only to see you shivering in the corner of your apartment because your living room suddenly imploded while watching tv. You’re wide eyed and dumbfounded, covered in soot, in your homewear that’s just a tiny top and panties- and your confused call of Bakugou’s hero name bounces right off his head as he follows the little happy trail under your belly down into your panties’ hemline.
“Damn,” Bakugou says again, and sounds more breatheless than when he smashed through fucking concrete.
"Out of the package" 😂 I'm fucking cackling.
do you want to see a snippet of the insane dribble I'll never finish
Stoop I am a sucker for the misunderstanding trope. "You heard what you did but it wasn't what it was" STAB MY HEART AND TAKE MY MONEY.
Hey there! I’ve been reading some of your five and I was wondering-
Could you maybe write a fic about Neteyam falling in love with a Metkayina girl- thinking she’s beautiful but doesn’t know how to say it to her so he asks Tsireya and y/n overhears and misunderstands, thinking he’s in love with Tsireya instead of her :)
I love your writing by the way- so much 💙
summary: neteyam asks for advice from tsireya to confess to you, however, you misunderstand thinking he loves tsireya

──── ⑅*❀*⑅ ────
Three months. It truly didn’t feel like you had known Neteyam for three short months. It felt like you had known him for eternity. Like souls reconnecting in the ever-continuing circle of life. You felt at peace being with him, his presence was grounding, his words were hymns and his beauty was breathtaking.
The first time you felt this connection towards him was in the first couple weeks of knowing Neteyam. You were both swimming in the crystal water, watching the passing aquatic life. His eyes were wide full of amazement, it was endearing to see someone so enthralled in something you knew as normal.
It was when you looked away for a moment to go and interact with a school of small glowing fish that called your name. You let them swim around you some of the fish even swimming towards your face to give what most resembled a kiss on the cheek. Letting out small giggles you told the fish to move onto their next step on their ever long journey of the sea, and you spotted him.
You spotted him gazing into you, his eyes soft and his mouth in a small smile as he just observed you. Your cheeks immediately heated up, so you immediately broke eye contact with Neteyam to swim to the surface of the water, to regain a little composure. That was the day your eye was forever set on Neteyam Sully.
Unbeknownst to your own mind, it was also the day where Neteyam’s eyes were set on you, both figuratively and literally. He was itching to tell you how he felt. His body, his mind, his heart ached when you weren’t in his presence. Even a glimpse of you was enough for him to feel content, he needed you and he craved you.
He thought it was best to ask the girl who knew you the most for advice. Tsireya. Your best friend since childhood, inseparable, always attached by the hip. Who else would he ask in a time like this. If he was gong to confess to you, he was going to do it right.
That’s how he ended up here. Sitting across from Tsireya sitting on a rocky ledge a short walk from the village, blindly blurting his feelings towards you in an affectionate word storm to a amused Tsireya.
“My you do really like Y/N.” She laughed at his face. Sort of similar to a ‘nuh duh’ expression mixed into a ‘I’m on my knees please help me’. It was incredibly amusing for her to watch, especially since she knew about how much you fancied him. “You should just tell her! I promise it will not go sour.” She put a friendly hand on his shoulder patting it in a comforting way.
“But that’s the problem, I have no idea what to say. There’s no possible way that I could ever be cohesive enough to truly tell Y/N how I feel.” Tsireya clapped her hands together, an idea hitting her.
“Close your eyes, and pretend I am Y/N. Try and think of every word carefully and imagine saying it to her.” Neteyam nodded sucking in a deep breath, closing his eyes.
You were on a stroll down the beach, something you made habit since you were young. The evening sky always made you aw. It was a lovely sight to see.
Your focus on the setting sky was drawn away abruptly when you saw two figures sitting on a ledge together. Two familiar figures, Tsireya and Neteyam.
You tried to push down the slight feeling of jealousy crawling up your throat. It was Tsireya, you have nothing to be jealous of.
Walking towards them close enough to hear their conversation. You wish you didn’t investigate, you wish that you weren’t so curious, you should’ve stayed out of it.
“You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever come across… you make my heart flutter when your around and ache when you’re not in front of me. Your hair, your eyes, your smile they’re all just so beautiful. I can’t go another minute without you by my side.”
His voice rung through your head, like a sickening thought that you try to shake away. The pain in your heart spread throughout your body debilitating you or your mind at least. Lips quivering, hands shaking you couldn’t believe this.
Did you mean nothing to him? Was every glance, every word, every touch not worth a thing to him? Gutted, stabbed in the heart as the blade was pushed deeper and deeper into you. You had to escape, you had to leave. You could never look at him again, never talk, never speak to him. Ever.
Heavy breaths and teary eyes. A permanent frown and small sobs. That was all you were right now. You felt hopeless, useless. No. you felt used, lied to.
How could he be so fake, was he always plotting to use your heart like a toy or was he blind to his actions. Blind to the way you looked at him. Blind to the way you touched him. Blind to the way you loved him. The way you fucking loved him.
Livid. Angry. Outraged.
Upset. Depressed. Hurt.
The cycle continued that entire night. How could you sleep? Your mind was cruel to not let go of the way his confession sounded. Sobs wracked through your ribs. Tears stained your face. You wanted nothing more than to escape the thought of him. But how could you do that? You loved him.
Waking up the next day was torturous, the sun pierced your eyes as your head throbbed in pain. You had to avoid him at all costs. You would never talk to him again. You didn’t care if you were his friend, he was your love and quite frankly you didn’t want to look him in his deceitful eyes. Ever. Again.
Your absence took an immediate toll on Neteyam. He noticed your absence like you’d notice a fish in a desert. He wondered what you were busy doing all day long. Not even spotting you once throughout the day.
He wasn’t too worried though, he knew Tsireya, and the rest of his siblings were meant to have another swimming lesson today, and you always tagged along. Neteyam tried to knock the worried feelings out of his chest, you must just be busy.
However, you were anything but busy. You laid in your hammock all day, barely moving a muscle. Depression? Maybe that’s what it was, but it wasn’t. It was heartbreak. Heartbreak so painful it was as if your heart was a fresh wound, bleeding out, begging for assistance.
You knew you were meant to go to a lesson with Tsireya today. But she could handle it, I mean she had been handling Neteyam’s feelings all by herself so why shouldn’t she be able to teach the stupid lanky boy to swim. Just more reason for him to talk to her.
Even thinking about the two together made you tear up. How pathetic you felt, moping in a hammock over a stupid forest boy. You felt stupid. No. You knew you were stupid. Thinking that Neteyam could ever like you with a beauty like Tsireya by your side constantly. You were idiotic to think that anyone would look your way.
The moment the lesson started without you Neteyam’s heart pounded. Where were you? His mind raced with concern, worry lacing his features as he frowned barely able to compute the instructions Tsireya and Ao’nung were giving him.
“Guys, where’s Y/N?” Neteyam asked his eyes scanning the shore constantly to check if you were just late.
“I saw her in her hammock today while walking back home. I don’t think she’s really moved since.” Ao’nung shrugged watching Neteyam’s concern growing stronger.
Was something troubling you? Were you sick? Why didn’t you confide in him?
“Did you speak to her?” His voice sharp and laced with fear. He needed to see you, he needed to check on you.
“I tried … asked her if she was alright and she grumbled at me and told me to fuck off. She’s in a really pleasant mood today.” Ao’nung joked at the end but before anyone could even chuckle at his joke, Neteyam was sprinting towards where you resided.
Neteyam was worried, he was so incredibly worried. What plagued you so much that you couldn’t even bare to get up all day.
You swung side to side, your headache and hunger forming together to create a nauseous feeling that you couldn’t even be bothered to remedy. That’s when your nauseous feeling became overwhelming and only because you saw a panicking Neteyam stride towards you at an alarmingly fast pace.
If you weren’t motivated to move before, now you were. You hopped off your hammock making eye contact with Neteyam. You wished you could of walked just slightly fast but the fatigue of moping around doing nothing really hit you.
“Y/N! Wait!” He shouted just a couple strides away from you but you didn’t want to face him, you couldn’t even get out a word because you were scared your voice would turn into a angry fit of sobs.
You walked so fast that if you sped up more it would be considered a jog. “Stop walking away from me!” He shouted catching up to you. Wrapping his nimble fingers around your wrist. You stopped dead in your tracks refusing to look at the man holding you.
“Go away. I don’t want to see you.”
The venom in your tone may have smashed Neteyam’s heart just then. Millions of splinters of his heart cascading across the floor.
“What’s wrong Y/N? What’s upset you so much?” A scoff erupted from your throat, a scoff making Neteyam wince at the way your face hardened into an unforgiving stare.
“I’m not sure Neteyam.”
He hated how you said his name with such anger, he didn’t want to make you angry.
“For some crazy reason I have this monologue stuck in the depths of my mind… it goes something along the lines of. ‘You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever come across.’ ‘You make my heart flutter when your around and ache when you’re not in front of me.’ Does it sound familiar to you Neteyam? Because I’m sure Tsireya would recognise it.”
His mind suddenly pieced together. You thought those words were meant for Tsireya. You thought he confessed to your best friend. You thought that he didn’t love you.
“No Y/N please listen.”
“I don’t want to talk to you. The sight of you makes me want to cry.”
“But Y/N please you have to understand.” He held onto your hands desperately. Eyes filling with water as he looked down at your quivering lips. He’d really fucked this one up.
“Understand what Neteyam. Understand that you never liked me?”
“No, I never liked you.”
You couldn’t hold back the tears that ran down your face. You didn’t exact want confirmation that he didn’t like you. The feeling of betrayal seemed to rack in your chest quickly, and stronger than ever.
“Y/N… I love you. I love you so much. I see you.” His hands moved from your hands to wipe the tears off your swollen face. The guilt of making you cry bubbled in his ribs making his eyes start to run as well.
“But you said-”
“Tsireya was giving me advice on how to confess to you. I wanted it to be perfect, I wanted to kiss you as eclipse started and wake up the next morning knowing you were mine and I was yours. But it doesn’t seem to be going in that direction.” Neteyam listened to the small sniffles you let out as your face contorted into a soft smile.
“I see you.” Three simple words. Simple words that conveyed the monsoon of emotions you had faced in the past couple days.
Three simple words that let Neteyam have the courage to kiss you. To kiss you so softly that every ounce of love he had for you poured into you.
While it wasn’t the perfect confession Neteyam was planning, he still got what he wanted, what he needed.
And all he needed was you.

“Catch me if you can!” A little Aonung laughs, followed by your cousin, Rotxo who adds “We can run faster than your little legs!”
“No, you can’t!” Little you said, catching speed towards them.
Your parents alongside Tonowari and Ronal watched. “Look at them.” Your mother cooed to Ronal, her best friend as you finally caught up to Aonung and Rotxo a little too harsh, sending the three of you stumbling onto the sand.
Both mothers laughed at their children. Your father and Tonowari looked at each other with a content look on their faces.
As the years progressed, all of you grew into fine hunters, particularly you and Aonung had gotten close.
Your parents could tell there was this unspoken bond between the two of you, not long after his parents began noticing it too. Not long enough, they therefore decided that the two of you were fated together.
That Ao’nung in the future would be the olo’ekytan, with you by his side as tsahik. A mated pair before Eywa and their people.
But that was still a long time coming, as the two had accomplished their rite of passage, the two has yet to decide when they would be mates.
It still baffled you that you and Aonung would become a mated pair in the future, and now Ronal had taken you under her wing to be a tsakarem just like Tsireya.
“Now this way.” Ronal was teaching the two of you. You and Tsireya looked at each other before following her.
You were glad that you and Tsireya were able to become close due to always spending the time together learning.
After finishing your lesson for the day, you and Tsireya bid goodbye to Ronal with a smile on your faces.
“We’re just going out, mother.” Tsireya laughs.
Ronal gives the two of you her rare smiles, she could very well remember your mother and her being like that in the past. “Go, keep safe.”
Leaving the Marui, you were greeted with the afternoon sky. You gave a stretch and a yawn. Tsireya breathes in the air. “I still can’t believe you’re going to be my sister-in-law soon!” She gushed, making you snap your mouth shut and blush.
“Tsireyaaaa…” You whine, you hated when she always teased you about her brother, not in a negative way, it was more like a stop-teasing-because-I-will-literally-combust-into-butterflies way.
“You better not be messing with her, sister.”
“And speaking of.” Tsireya said, looking up to meet his brother. “- And no, I am not! I’m just telling how happy we’ll be if—” You covered her mouth, not facing Aonung, who was standing behind you.
He raises an eyebrow at you and smirks. “Happy if?”
“Happy if- uh...” You thought. Tsireya then takes your hand off her mouth and spoke.
“Happy if you’d finally make her a part of the family!”
You scrunch your face, closing your eyes shut as heat seeped through your cheeks, turning a shade darker.
Instantly, you felt Aonung’s hand snake to your arm, going to your shoulder, gently turning you around to meet him.
You open your eyes and the first thing you see is that stupid smirk on his face that you fell in love with.
“Seems like they can’t wait, can they?” He teased.
“Tsireya I told y-“ You turned to face her, Aonung’s hand still on your shoulder but Tsireya was already skipping away from the two of you.
You sigh rather loudly, facing him.
“You not happy to see me anymore?” Ao’nung tilts his head, looking down at you. Your pout turns into a playful smile as you playfully shoved his chest.
Aonung laughs, pulling you close as he wraps an arm around your waist as the two of you started walking side by side.
“It feels like everyone’s expecting us to be mated already.” You started the conversation. Aonung turns his head to you, before he looks out the horizon.
“Mother has been asking about it too.” He replied. You turn to him, studying his features as he looked in front of him.
You blink.
“You should hear my mother instead, asking me if you had already asked me, considering the number of gifts you’ve given me.” You could feel Aonung chuckle as you leaned onto his side.
His arms gave a comforting squeeze. “You know I’ll always wait for you.” Aonung wasn’t one to push, he knew you’ll give him your answer when you were ready.
For now, the two of you were just enjoying being young, being together.
But you felt guilty, sure you had all the time in the world, but you could not keep him waiting even if he constantly reassures you. You were lucky to have someone as patient and loyal as him.
“Besides, it’s not like you could do anything about it, you’re stuck with me.” Aonung jokes with a smirk, his arm now going to wrap around your shoulder as he gives a subtle feather-light kiss on the side of your temple.
You blush with a laugh. “Being stuck with the olo’eyktan’s finest hunter… who would’ve thought?”
“Hmm, I guess little you did.” He responds. “But little me thinks he’s luckier having this beautiful girl beside him, the girl who captured his heart and trapped it with hers.”
“Oh, you can be quite the dramatic.” You say as the two of you walked along the shore.
“Not dramatic if it is true.”
There you go again, blushing for the nth time within minutes of being with him. It instantly made your day better.
But both of your fun had to end as eclipse set. Aonung was now walking you towards your marui.
Reaching the destination and entering, you were greeted by your mother and father. But your mother looked like she was happier to see Aonung.
“Aonung, my son! How are you?” Your mother greeted him and Aonung smiles.
“I am good ma, I just thought I’d walk (Y/N) back here, to make sure she gets home safe.”
Your mother instantly cooes, thanking him. Your father seemed to be also pleased by Aonung’s presence as he gives him a nod to which Aonung bowed to.
“Mom, Aonung has to go home now, look how dark it is outside.” You say, placing a hand on your mother as you looked out.
“Oh, imagine it, soon the two of you will be finally sharing your own marui, you’d no longer have to worry about each other going home separately.”
The thought sent you and Aonung looking at each other as Aonung sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
“Mom!” You say.
Finally, your mother gives in an bids goodbye to Aonung as she returned to her spot.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?” He asked.
“Of course, goodnight.” You smiled.
**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ ઇଓ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
The following weeks ran smoothly.
However, today was something you’d never expect to happen.
You were on your ilu, carrying your bag filled with freshly plucked shellfish on your way to the shore when screeching sounded.
You had commanded your ilu to stop when you looked up.
Knitting your brows, you find a couple of mountain banshees approaching. It had you thinking, there wasn’t any news from the Omatikaya clan that they would be coming today?
And weirdly enough, why would they need five of them if they were only to send a message?
You watched as they circled around, more people noticing as they yelped at them. Soon, everyone was gathering around the shore.
Instantly you saw Tsireya on her ilu as well. Deciding to approach her, she notices you and speaks. “What do you think they’re doing here?”
“I don’t know…” You respond.
Then they landed.
You and Tsireya looked at each other. “Come, let’s see!” Tsireya says curiously, already had her ilu moving. You followed.
As the crowd formed around them, you and Tsireya had reached the shore, dismounting and walking towards them curiously.
To your surprise, you already see Aonung and Rotxo, who was having too much fun in making fun of their tails.
You walked behind Tsireya as she slaps Rotxo on the arm, making you chuckle. “Do not. Rotxo, Aonung.”
Finally looking to see your visitors, it had taken you by surprise. They were blue, their arms where thin and long, and their tails was… small compared to yours. They had striking eyes that had a mix of yellow and green in them.
“Hey.” You hear one of them speak beside the other teenage boy, you could see him looking at Tsireya, making the two of you giggle.
Though you also feel the other boy’s eyes on you as you looked to confirm your suspicions. He was, indeed, looking at you.
He flashes you a friendly smile and you smiled back at him.
Little did you know Aonung watched the interaction, sending him glaring daggers at the back of the poor boy’s head as he tapped Rotxo on the side, muttering things under his breath.
As the olo’eyktan and tsahik arrived, Aonung and Tsireya walked to get beside their parents while you followed behind them with your cousin, Rotxo.
You watched the whole scene play out as Ronal circled them, pointing out their appearance, to when Tonowari granted them to stay.
“My son Aonung and our daughter Tsireya will show your children what to do.” Tonowari spoke.
Instantly, your eyes shift to Aonung who stepped forward to speak out to his father.
“Father, why—”
“It has been decided.”
Tsireya offers them a gentle smile, before looking back at you and pulling onto your hand to drag you with her.
Aonung notices this of course, and he has a sour look on his face as he watches the two of you.
“Come! We will show you our village.”
The crowd dispersed as Toruk Makto’s family had gathered their belongings. You were standing beside Tsireya. Honestly, curiosity was gnawing at you, and you were thankful Tsireya had dragged you with her.
You watched them as they carried their stuff, and you already feel the same pair of eyes looking at you as you talked with Tsireya. You gripped on your bag a little tightly as you looked at them.
“We’ll help you with that.” Tsireya says, grabbing a few bags off of Neytiri as she thanked her, while you had chosen to help the boy from earlier, seeing that he has a lot to hold on to.
“I can take it, here.” You approach him, grabbing a few bags and a roll of mat off him before he had a chance to refuse.
“Thank you.” Was the only thing he said to you.
Now making your way to their newly assigned marui, the boy had introduced himself to you.
“Hi, thank you again for carrying our stuff… you didn’t have to.” He says from behind you, you slow your footsteps to have him walk beside you. “It’s the least we could do, this is going to be your new home after all.”
He pauses, his mouth opening and closing as he walked with you. “I am Neteyam.”
Neteyam? Hmm.
“(Y/N). It is nice to meet you, Neteyam.” You reply.
“(Y/N)… nice.”
“Hm?” You look at him. “I mean it is nice to meet you.” He clears his words.
Aonung and Rotxo watched behind all of you, specifically, Aonung’s eyes were targeted on the boy beside you as he strikes up a conversation.
“Just up here.” Tsireya announces.
Reaching the newly made marui, you had left the boy to walk besides Tsireya, placing their bags down.
“This is for you, your new home.” She spoke.
“This is nice, right?” Jake Sully had said, in turn, you flinch as the noise of the mat being carried by Neytiri had dropped as everyone turned to look at her.
“We will leave you guys to get settled.” You say, placing your hands together with a small smile.
“We will teach you starting tomorrow, but for now I hope you all get some rest.” Tsireya announced.
Walking away, you smirked and nudged Tsireya on the side “That boy couldn’t take his eyes off you.” You teased her. Tsireya giggles, rolling her eyes. “You had that one boy staring at you too.”
Now it was your turn to roll your eyes, you and Tsireya walking side by side laughing to yourselves.
Rotxo and Aonung watched from the side as the two of you laughed and giggled like little kids. It struck his nerves, what were the two of you laughing about? He sighs, patting Rotxo on the side to go and do their own pending tasks.
**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ ઇଓ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
The day started bright and early, it just had been about every other day before, but this time you had begun to teach Jake Sully’s kids.
Already diving in the water, you felt the cool water envelop you as you swam, your tail swishing to propel you further. You swam around coral reefs and among the fishes, Aonung following close by.
You stop and looked behind you to see the siblings on the surface. They glanced down and you could see Tsireya signing them to come swim with you.
Aonung stopped as well, looking at you to find you looking at them, while Rotxo, from beside him, looked at them too.
As they dove back down, you smile and continue swimming around. But they had to come up for air again as the four of you saw them reaching to the surface.
All of you looked at each other.
‘What’s wrong with them?’ Aonung signed.
‘They are bad divers’ Rotxo replied to him.
‘Stop that’ you signed back. ‘They’re learning’ Tsireya added.
Aonung rolled his eyes but watched as Rotxo and Tsireya swam up.
You swim towards him, tilting your head. ‘Give them a chance’ you signed. ‘Come on let’s go up’ You added.
Both of you swam to the surface beside one another.
You were about to talk when Aonung began “You are not good divers, maybe good at swimming through trees—”
Turning towards him, you give him a light smack on the shoulder, making his smirk drop as he looks at you with a ‘What was that for?’ look.
“Come on, bro.” The other sibling, who you learned was Lo’ak, said.
“We don’t speak this… finger talk you guys. We don’t know what you’re saying.” Neteyam said.
“We will teach you.” You say, Aonung looks at you before looking back at them.
**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ ઇଓ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
After a few weeks, Aonung could notice the way Neteyam was always on you. And it was getting on his nerves. You, however, seemed clueless about it.
There were times when all of you were teaching them sign language, and when he failed to get it right, you’d assist him by having your hands on his. And with the way that the forest boy blushed had Aonung feeling annoyed.
He wanted to send a sign that you were already taken, that you were his. But at the same time, he didn’t want to cause trouble if it included you.
So, he settled on subtle ways.
He’d always make sure he was a little too close to you. He would then randomly talk to you, leaning his face closer to yours whenever they were around.
And he would be sure to often grab your arm or hand a few times to grab your attention from them.
But you weren’t noticing these things he was doing. It made you blush and smile, sure, but you didn’t know their true intentions. It made him look jealous, because he was. You were his, why can’t he see that?
Even though when you both had free time you were always being pulled away from him by the Sully’s, even Tsireya for Eywa’s sake! What has gotten into you two?
Even more, his actions didn’t even seem to stop Neteyam from staring at you and taking the chance to talk with you when he wasn’t around.
“These are ilu. If you want to live here, you have to ride.” Aonung says, introducing the ilu’s to the Sully kids.
You were there, standing, watching Aonung with love in your eyes, with the way he was acting the past few weeks had you feeling fuzzy.
Although you missed hanging out with him, considering you were always being pulled aside by Neteyam or even both you and Tsireya were being pulled aside by both Neteyam and Lo’ak.
At first it was asking for advice, then they started asking questions about yourselves and so on. You hadn’t really given it much thought until Tsireya bought it up one afternoon.
After finishing the lesson, you and Tsireya were walking back to the village. “(Y/N), have you noticed the way Neteyam has been giving you heart eyes this whole time?”
You stopped, looking at her. “Wait- What?”
“My Eywa, you haven’t noticed?” Tsireya gasps, looking at you. “No- what? I thought he was just wanting to make friends.”
“More than friends.” Tsireya corrected, laughing. You thought back, and it did seem so.
“And!” Tsireya says, grabbing onto your arm. “You should see the look on Aonung’s face everytime he comes across Neteyam… or Lo’ak too for that matter…” Tsireya concluded. “It looks like he really hates them.”
Then you connected the dots. Maybe that’s why Aonung was being clingy than before. He was jealous. He was almost subtly marking you as his, that you were taken.
Helping them get on their ilu’s you watched Lo’ak speed off with his ilu, before letting go, sending him tumbling onto the water.
Aonung laughed beside you as you chuckled yourself. You then watched Neteyam carefully guiding his ilu around, with a smile on his face.
You feel an arm snake around your waist, looking up, you still see Aonung teasing Lo’ak. You smile to yourself at Aonung’s actions.
**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ ઇଓ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
Then Aonung had enough.
“Back off. Now.” Neteyam pointed at Aonung’s chest as Aonung had decided to pick on his sister, Kiri, for being a freak.
Aonung still hadn’t settled on accepting the Sully family as their own, he was being stubborn, and now this is where it got him.
Aonung only smirked at him, walking forward as Neteyam’s finger pressed even further on his chest.
“Then why won’t you back off my mate, huh?” He taunted. Although you weren’t mates yet, he just had to do something to make Neteyam stop his moves on you.
Neteyam looked confused as he dropped the accusatory finger from his chest. “What do you mean?”
“Skxawng, I’m talking about (Y/N). She doesn’t want anything to do with you.” He shoved his chest back, making Neteyam stumble as Lo’ak intervened.
“We didn’t know, bro—”
“Maybe this will let you know.” Aonung said, shoving Neteyam strongly this time. But Neteyam didn’t back down as a fight began to break out between Neteyam, Lo’ak, and Aonung’s gang.
Tsireya and you were just walking when you began to hear a commotion.
“The forest people and Aonung are fighting!” You heard one say.
Forest people… Aonung?
Quickly looking at each other, you and Tsireya broke off into a sprint to head towards them.
“Aonung!” You said as the scene of Neteyam, Lo’ak, and Aonung and his friends were fighting welcomed your eyes.
The other people pulled Neteyam and Lo’ak out while Rotxo held Aonung back.
“What’s happening?” Tsireya asked.
“Stay away.” Aonung said, pointing at Neteyam.
Your eyes widen, seeing a large bruise already forming on Aonung’s cheek as his bottom lip was busted open. You rushed towards him, cupping his cheek.
“Eywa give me strength…. What did you do?” You say frantically.
You looked towards Neteyam and Lo’ak, then back at Aonung.
Neteyam saw how your face formed in worry as you rushed to Aonung’s aid. What Aonung said was true. You were with him and he was too dumb to see that. It made his chest ache, but he knew he was in the wrong. You were only helping him out.
And that’s when the Sully brothers heard the voice of their father.
**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ ઇଓ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
After that, the tension had died down. Neteyam and Aonung were able to set their differences, they became friends as well as with Lo’ak and their siblings.
Now you and Aonung were sat a rocky shore as you recalled what happened.
“So, you really said I was your mate already?” You laugh.
“I- kinda… yeah.” Aonung sighs in defeat, and in embarrassment. “I figured saying that might finally knock some sense into him.”
“Mhm even though we’re not mates.”
“I know, I’m sorry for—”
“But I guess we can change that, can we?” You smile up at him.
Aonung then snaps his gaze back to you, confusion etched all over him.
“What do you mean?”
Pulling him to peck his lips, you held his cheeks.
“Aonung, I am more than happy to become your mate.”
And the wide smile that crossed his lips was truly a sight to see.
I'm a damn mess 😭😭 this was so beautiful but so damn painful 🧡😭😭
Synopsis: Your worst nightmare comes to life after you receive a call well after midnight that isn't from your husband Bakugou but about him. Rushing to the hospital you're thankful to find him alive but when he comes to he asks to see his wife despite you standing there.
Warnings: Angst
A/N & wc: just something quick I whipped up, 3.6k
This is what you wanted isn't it?
All along you begged the Gods for this.
Asking with hot tears streaming down your face that you wished that you weren't here. Not dead but that you never truly existed at all. That no one could remember you and it would be that much easier to be nothing in the wind.
The Gods have a cruel sense of humor, granting your wish, much to your dismay, at an extremely shitty time in your life.
The call comes in the middle of the night, another fear you've had since you married him. Worry clawing up your stomach as your clammy hands reach for the phone. It's Kirishima, it's just Kirishima. He just wants to chat right?
At 2am he just wants to ask about your day doesn't he?
Deep down in the very marrow of your bones you know that's not true. Not even able to fool yourself for a second as your groggy voice shakes with a weak "H-hello?"
Kirishima comes out and just says it. Explains it all but it's as if he's speaking a different language. You barely make out Bakugou and the name of the hospital before the ringing in your ears is deafening. He goes on for what feels like hours as your mind plays out grotesque, horrifying images of what may be left if your husband.
He never got hurt.
Ever.
He promised.
He fucking promised he'd be okay. He always does when he kisses you goodbye. When you say stay safe and he affirms with a hum and "I will. For you I will."
But you didn't say stay safe this time did you? No you spat insults at him, hormonal, pms fueled rage over something he couldn't even control.
He was a superhero. He should be able to control everything.
"Sweetheart, I'm fuckin late." Is what he growled and when he leaned in for a kiss. You leaned away.
"That's it. I'm coming to get you." Kirishima hisses about to hang up when you tell him you're fine. That you'll be there and he can go home to his own worrying and extremely pregnant wife.
You use your quirk, illegally, flying at the speed of light to get to the hospital. Rushing out the syllables of your new last name, Bakugou in such a rush the nurse asks you three more times before you spy Kirishima's hands running through his red mane as he steps outside an ICU room.
Pushing past the nurse, biting your tongue as you rush towards Kirishima. Ignoring his warning as he tries to catch you as you slip under his large arms. Through the heavy door and pulling past the curtain.
It's worse than you imagined and yet still not as bad. He's unconscious, an oxygen mask over his face but thankfully no tube snaking down his throat. You launch yourself at his side, the slow beep from the monitor by your head reassures you he was still breathing.
Still alive.
Your palms are clammy again as it all comes rushing into focus. With each beep comes new information piled on top of the other. First is the pungent smell of cleaner. Disinfecting anything and everything until it's bleaching the lining of your lungs. Then comes the cold, thick plastic of the bed handle beneath your hands. Groaning from your grip as your heart rate increases.
Beep
The stiff blankets, they're scratchy and all wrong. Bakugou doesn't like this type of "cheap shit". He's more high maintenance than you. He likes tightly woven or soft down comforters.
Beep
Red, the bandages on his chest are weeping red. So much fucking color clashing with the white gauze. That can't be right. It'll get on this stupid scratchy blanket. The sharp inhale brings in more sanitation, your breath becomes more shallow. Teeth grinding and competing with the sound ringing in your head.
Beep
It's dark, it's so fucking dark in here you can barely see. Where are his eyes? Why won't his eyes open? You're whispering his name so softly like you do when he's worked overnight and you're leaving for work by mid morning. His crimson eyes always open. Always crinkle when he says goodbye. Why can't you see his fucking eyes?
Beep
Why
Beep
Is he gonna..
Beep
"Hey." A solid hand clamps onto your shoulder pulling you out of your spiral. Bringing you to shore with his rough grip, "Are you sure you'll be okay?"
At some point Kirishima has pulled up the reclining chair for you, offering it silently with one of those stupid, shitty scratchy blankets. You feel your skin crawl and not from the low thread count.
Eyes flickering back towards your husband of three years.
Three whole years and he's just going to leave like this? Like a candle snuffed out by…by
By some damn extra?!
Kirishima watches your labored breathing, he is never going to go back on the promise he made his best friend and the one Bakugou made in turn.
"She's stubborn. Look after her if something fuckin happens."
"I'm staying with you. I'll ask the nurse to-"
"No!" It comes out too quick, too loud as you turn on him like a wild animal. For just a moment you can see it. Dully reflected in his eyes in this damned low light, your reflection. What he sees.
A scared little girl who's about to lose her shit.
You clear your throat, straightening your back before you breathe out deeply.
"Your wife is going to pop any minute. You need to be available for her." You say sternly, pretending this was something so much more mundane. Like you've missed the bus or the taxi Bakugou sent for you.
A small inconvenience, yea that's all this was. You were just going to be late, late to see Bakugou and-
"You're sure?" Thunderous voice threatens to crack, looking over his friend, making it harder on you.
"Yes. You're injured, yourself. Besides your paternity leave starts the second she goes into labor and as office manager I do have a say on that. In fact it starts now." There it is, there's that stern voice he's used to. The light scolding you've always given him and Bakugou for the last five years.
Kirishima seems to give it some thought, a lot of thought.
"Eiji, please I'll be okay." You smile up at him, lips twitching at how difficult it is to turn them upward when all you want to do is scream. Scream until the burn of bleach is replaced from the raw emotion that's bubbling up your throat.
The large man shifts his weight, debating giving you a hug and when he sees your body closed off, hands white knuckled on the bed frame he thinks better of it.
"You better call me if you need anything. At least give me that okay?"
"Okay." You appease him, still forcing the smile and hoping he'll get the fuck out.
Finally he does, staring you down with a soft goodbye and a stern I mean it that you wave off. Until finally he shuts the big, scary door.
Leaving you alone with that sound that is both reassuring and yet nauseating.
Beep
Beep
Beep
And this time you can't hold back the tears.
Crying enough tears to fill up two weeks. Almost drowning in the amount shed as the doctor reassures you he'll wake soon. He has healthy brain wave activity and he's breathing on his own.
"All good signs. Try more of his favorite music."
It's all they can say. All they can give you to cling onto as you replay your last words to him.
Hateful, cruel things.
Over the stupidest fucking fight.
"It's because you're still in love with her!"
Throwing insecurities in his face and for what?
Suddenly his heart rate monitor beeps loudly, quickly chirping the increase in speed as you watch his eyes move beneath his long lashes.
Before they flutter open, looking over at you with… with
With disgust.
Your heart hammers in your chest. Was he? Was he still mad at you?
"H-hey Suki." You go to reach for the hairs that cling to his damp forehead only to be caught in his deadly hot and tight grip, "Katsuki, you're hurting me."
His free hand rips the mask from his face as he looks over at you with harsh set eyes. The intensity weakened only by his groggy state.
"Don't use my given name." A threat that has your eyes watering, "I don't even fuckin know you."
He tosses your hand back into your lap as if you were trash, eyes narrowing to slits.
"Where's my wife?"
"I am your -" But he cuts you off.
"Where the fuck is Momo?!"
Momo, Bakugou's first wife, comes quicker than you'd like. Wrapping her arms around you, sickeningly sweet perfume chokes you out, almost drowning out the harsh chemicals of the room. She came straight from the movie set, long lavish dress fit for the Mafia Princess character she was playing in some new film.
The same very ex wife who you claimed Bakugou wasn't over. Gritting your teeth as she fusses over you, as if you were a delicate thing that could break any minute and not Bakugou who lies under that itchy blanket.
"Momo, darlin." He croaks and she visibly flushes. Rushing to him, spying the blanket as well before she's using her quirk to make something more to his liking.
"Baby why weren't you here?" You can hear the strain in his voice, the emotion he's biting back as she looks down at him confused, "Are you still filming that dumb super hero movie?"
"Bakugou-"
"Katsuki." He corrects sharply, even moving his mask that the doctors fought to put back on to make sure she heard it. Momo looks over her shoulder cautiously to gauge your reaction.
"Katsuki…" It feels odd to form the syllables on her tongue, "I finished that movie seven years ago…"
"Wha-what?"
"I'm also…Ba-" His glare causes Momo to correct herself, "Katsuki, doll, we aren't married anymore. We divorced. You're married to her now."
Momo pulls you into view and Bakugou stares at his ex and "current" wife.
A long, heavy moment of silence passes before the heart monitor beeps furiously. The smell of caramel permeating the room much too quickly before the doctor rushes in.
Just as Bakugou takes in a breath to start yelling, pulling at the mask and almost ripping out his IV his body goes slack. The doctor was barely faster than him, injecting him with something to lull him back to sleep.
Especially since explosives and oxygen did not mix well.
The doctor blinks rapidly having just caught the tail end of the conversation. Memory loss was normal, expected, but possibly six years or more…
Well that wasn't, even with his long history of concussions.
With the quick assessment he turns to the two women in the room. Debating on just how to go about this as bedside manner wasn't always his strong suit.
"What I'm about to say may be difficult for you two however keep in mind this is what is going to be best for the patient and his recovery. Since he is experiencing amnesia we will have to go along with what he thinks is true right now. Just like one would when someone has dementia. There will be less stress on his body if we indulge in his perceived reality."
"For how long?" Momo asks tentatively. Doctor Yashido takes a sharp inhale.
"Until his memories return."
"And how long will that take?" Two different tones ask in unison. One a frustrated bark the other laced with deep concern.
"Could be weeks. Could be months." He swallows thickly, Yashido never was good at delivering bad news and this was almost as bad as it gets, "If they ever return at all."
The hospital floor falls away from beneath your feet. Causing you to plummet into the deep dark depths. Questions buzzing in your head battling alongside the screaming. The sound echoes in your mind whipping up the thoughts of Bakugou having never loved you. Of Bakugou thinking so little of you, of finding you so fucking annoying, like the gnat you were he went and forced himself to forget the last three years of your marriage and taking it a step further by going back far enough to forget you existed at all.
Isn't this what you wanted? What you wished for that night? That you'd wake up and you hadn't existed at all?
Beep
This wasn't about you. Fuck this was about him. Would he be happier with Momo? He never really did say why they broke up. He always said it was "just mutual" and left it at that.
Beep
At least he was alive right? You could watch him from afar again. Watch the star rise as your feet stayed firmly planted on the ground.
Beep
You could forget he ever brought you up in the night sky to dance along with him. It would be easy right?
"Love." Momo calls for the third time, manicured hands on your shoulders, "Why don't you go home for some rest. And a shower."
You stare up at her blankly, at the doctor who gives a curious look before you slowly nod.
"Yea….yea that's a good idea."
Returning the next day proves painful as you see Momo has changed, stunning even in leggings and a cropped shirt. Even took the initiative to alter the decor of his ICU room. Soft yellow string lights, a humidifier, soft fluffy blankets and silky sheets that Bakugou might bleed on anyway if he didn't stop moving around so much.
It's awkward to stand in the corner and watch them interact. To watch everyone else interact with the man you so desperately wanted to see.
And wanted him to see you in return.
But he can't now, he doesn't even know your name. And everytime you come close to the bed he stares at you with such discontent, with suspicion as if you were the dirty liar in the room.
Kirishima falls back, bumping his shoulder into yours gently. You look up at him with deep bags under your eyes.
"Mina is worried about you, ya know. She says you can stay at our place if your apartment is too…much." He offers with a strained smile, you place another lip twitching half assed smile on your own mouth.
"I'll be fine."
Yet the late hours of the night, all alone in your too big apartment, curled into his pillow that is slowly losing the smell of him haunt you the most.
A few more weeks pass and even with Bakugou's restlessness the doctors argue with him about downgrading his stay to general admission. They instead move him from the ICU to the neurology floor, making this the longest Bakugou had ever been in the hospital to date. Meeting even more doctors that now talk to both you, for legal reasons and Momo, for Bakugou's fantasy, about his brain damage.
How there is hardly any and that there were many things about the brain that we as humans had yet to understand.
But that was his whole fucking job wasn't it? To study the brain and unlock its god damn mysteries. Not tell you you were shit out of luck and non-existent to your very real husband who was in such a twisted reality.
It's baffling to see his scans, to hear nothing is wrong. Painful to see the love in his eyes that shine for Momo and not a spark for you.
How odd it is to share your husband with his ex wife.
Sometimes you're brave enough to sit closer to him like you are today. Steeling your nerves against his harsh interrogation as if you were the nasty villain that put him here in the first place. Sitting second to Momo who holds his hand or smooths down his blanket. Watching the days bleed together as her once, almost forced and polite smile turns into something else.
Turns real, genuine.
It makes your stomach churn.
"The fuck are ya still doing here extra?" He hisses at you when he wakes from a nap, Momo shushing him. Scolding him about being rude and he counters.
"What's rude is that she fuckin exists! Why is she fuckin here, Sweetheart?" Your heart falls into your stomach. Throat closing up as your body rejects this.
Rejects everything, especially the sound of his nickname for you aimed at someone else. At someone you're stupidly jealous of. At someone whose fault this could never be and who has only ever shown you kindness.
Sent your flowers on your birthday.
Avoided hero galas the two of you went to.
"Katsuki!" No correction on his name now, Momo having settled into his given name once again and quickly at that.
"No, it's okay. I'll- I'll get us some coffee, Momo." You say abruptly getting up. Wanting comfort from no one but the man that just cut you with his sharp tongue.
He's just groggy. It's cause he's hurting. It's the meds that are saying that.
The same excuses echo through your head as you walk through the halls, air thick with intangible weight as you trudge towards the sludge machine painted in coffee labels.
You wondered what exactly the air was thick with. Grief most likely, of lives forever altered resting on the shoulders of sobbing loved ones who could barely hold themselves up but were now expected to carry the weight of the world.
Or maybe it was resentment, festering anger. Angry that this happened. Angry at God or the Gods or at no one in particular that let this happen to their loved one.
All you knew was that the air was thick with it. Smothering you with every futile breath you took.
Somehow you make it back to the room, muscle memory must have guided you back here. Toeing open the door that you left slightly ajar quietly.
Only to find a sleeping Bakugou, breathing even and heart rate lazy, slow. Momo sighs softly as she pushes his ash blonde hair away from his forehead murmuring ever so softly.
"Why'd I leave again?"
The paper cups in your hands crush easily. The scalding liquid burning in your hands as Momo startles from the sound. But nothing burns as badly as the angry tears you're holding back.
Maybe you should leave. Give these two their happily ever after.
Maybe everyone was right. Bakugou was a lot to handle. Mitsuki had said so herself. Saying you'd never be good enough for her son as long as you stayed weak willed.
Weak hearted.
"You won't last four years with my son. Mark my words. You'll give up on him because he's too good for you, Momo was the better fit."
She muttered them to you as she pulled the veil over your blurring vision before you walked down the aisle to her son.
You never did tell him. And now you never would.
Mind made up as you storm from the hospital room. Biting your lip until you tasted blood as you held yourself back. A war raging inside your head.
He's just lost his memories, that's all this is. No you fucking idiot his love for Momo was stronger.
Soon you're marching up the stairs to your shared apartment, almost snapping the key off in the lock from the sharp turn of your wrist. Rushing inside without bothering to remove your shoes as tears cloud your eyes. Threatening to fall in fat drops as you rummage through the closet for your suitcase. Stacking it haphazardly with random items in the room. A small painting, your charger, random clothes and jewelry. All the while murmuring to yourself before you bully your way into the en suite.
Gathering things here and there before you see it. The box catching your eye that has you instantly nausted.
It's quiet for a moment. The buzzing in your throat and head silenced by your intense concentration.
Before erupting with a raw scream shoving everything off of the granite in one foul swoop.
Shattering his expensive cologne and your pricy perfume onto the wood grain tile. The scents meld together reminding you of hot dinner dates the two of you never made it to. Too busy fucking on the vanity counter, staring at one another in the mirror. Now all that stares back at you is a ghost. Hollow eyes and a heavier heart.
Biting your lip you stare at the black box on the floor, torturing yourself by picking it up. The rectangular shape feels different in your hands, the rounded edges feel sharp as you gently unwrap the gift as if you didn't know what sat inside.
Two white tests. Neatly capped and set in tissue paper. Two solid pink lines on one test and the other written clear as day in digital text Pregnant
With finality you slam the box into the trash with such force the can falls over. The other several tests toppled out indicating the same thing. Confirming what your blood tests results in your voicemail echoed back to you from your OBGYN
Congratulations!
The sound of her voice rings in your head. Was it a "congratulations", was it really?
This is what you wanted right? A baby?
To not exist? To fall off the face of the earth?
Fate is a twisted and cruel thing, giving but always taking its hefty price as tears burn your eyes, bags packed leaving the once shared apartment.
The universe only gave you what you wanted right?
So congratulations, you got exactly what you wanted.
You were finally forgotten.
Oh this is so cute 😍
Hey there hope i made it here is my Headcannon or it's a story request
Miro x eri's older sister reader you who went the same abuse as eri but harsher because she has the same quirk but she could control it.And then Mirio you saves her and eri, teach them about the outside and Miro couldn't help but fell in love and it up to you
[ Alright, my third request. So I was a little unsure if you meant you wanted headcanons or a story. I was originally going to do headcanons but then I thought...well, I could summarize time in the story and sort of jump to Mirio bringing the reader outside and trying to confess his love. ]
Your heart sped up, this was not right or at least it didn't feel right. The sensation of soft grass underneath you, the kiss of the warm sun on your skin, and the wide open space with the scent of dirt. Yes, you were outside and it was so strange for someone who had spent the majority of their life behind closed doors.
"Mm..." you latched onto your bottom lip, curling your toes into the grass and bringing your legs up to your chest where your arms securely wrapped around them. You laid your chin on the top of your knees, glancing over at Mirio who was currently playing with your little sister, Eri.
A big bright smile was on his face and his laughter mixed with Eri's was an almost foreign sound and the sight of the sunlight bathing him in a golden glow was something that you needed to get used to. Of course, that sun made him look like a God and in a way, he was exactly that to you.
In fact, he was the perfect description of the heroes you remember your mother and father telling you about. Although that was before your little sister accidentally used her quirk to well...turn your father to dust and you suddenly found yourself in the care of Kai Chisaki.
He was a cruel man that had no regard for anyone's well-being and only sought to destroy quirks, finding them to be a disease plaguing the human race. Yet, he found interest in Eri's quirk as well as yours. Why? Because they worked in similar ways only you had more control over your quirk, Eri did not.
You still had nightmares of being strapped to an exam table as he cut your body open several times only to regenerate the flesh and do it all over again. Subjecting you to the same pain over and over again, claiming that it would help him better understand your quirk.
You knew this wasn't true, especially given the fact that there were better, more humane ways to study quirks. But everything about your life changed when Lemillion or Mirio Togata as you later got to know him as came.
Although his sacrifice for protecting Eri and yourself was losing his quirk, and even after visiting him in the hospital he seemed awfully cheery about it. Like having the thing he was born with getting ripped away from him in an instant was okay.
"You know, Deku said something similar. If he could give me a quirk, he would but I don't want one. After all, I'm still a hero even without it," he said and you could only frown as you sat on the edge of his hospital bed.
This was also the first instance he introduced you to a gentle touch when he commented "Heh, you have pretty horns!" and lifted his hand to touch them. You ended up flinching and falling off of the bed which caused him to apologize frantically.
Of course, unlike Eri who had one little horn which grew in size and caused her pain when she didn't properly utilize her quirk, you had two fairly large horns on top of your head which relatively remained the same size.
Mirio was aware that you could control your quirk while Eri couldn't and when it came time to address how to revert his quirkless status, all eyes seemed to turn on you. Luckily Mirio spoke up on your behalf. "Don't you think it'd be better if someone else had that privilege?"
You knew he was referring to your sister, Eri. "O-oh...w-well I..." you ended up flushing and running out of the room. You weren't used to having a conversation with anyone other than your sister, let alone be in a room with other heroes discussing the potential of your quirk.
Still, you wanted to try and thank him for his kindness but as your life continued to adjust and your sister and you found homes within the Heights Alliance faculty building, you came to realize that Mirio was adjusting to the new changes as well and thought it fit to watch over you and Eri.
He spent as much time with each of you as he could, while Eri was open to exploring the world outside. You felt safer inside and as time went on you began to miss the way she'd run to you whenever she came back with Mirio slightly frightened by the sights she had seen and the people she had met.
Now she'd just come back with a smile on her face and tell you all about her day and how Lemillion was amazing. Today happened to be a little different though because when Mirio came to pick her up to take her to the park, she grabbed your hand.
"Why don't you come with us, Lemillion promised it'd be fun," she said with a pout. You stiffened and looked at her with the corner of your mouth curled. "Eri...I..." you shifted your eyes back and forth, trying to come up with an excuse.
But Mirio suddenly placed his hand on your shoulder causing you to stumble back in surprise. "Ah!" you cried out and ended up hitting a wall. You slumped to the floor with your hands and legs cradled up to your chest, your eyes wide and your face twisted with fear.
"Oh right, sorry!" he said, trying to smile as he approached and crouched down in front of you. "H-huh?" you blinked when he held out his hand, indicating he wanted you to take it. But, you only stared at it acting as if you were unsure of what he was trying to do.
But when you glanced back at his face, you could see he was beaming just like the day you had first laid your eyes on him. Why was he so happy and could you ever be that happy? He felt kind of bad for having scared you, even though he had been getting to know you these past few months.
It was clear that Eri was more social and part of that could be because she was a child and her curiosity got the best of her while you, well you were practically an adult and everything was still new to you. But he pledged he'd undo everything that Kai put you through and much like Eri, his end goal for you was to see you smile.
But he wanted to be the one to make you smile because lately, he had noticed his stomach filled with butterflies when around you and sometimes he couldn't help but blush. It was clear what was happening, and that was alright even if he didn't want to admit how he felt about you just yet.
"Heh, sorry about that," he said, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand while nervously chuckling. "I guess I gotta remember you're still working on adjusting to everything. Eri's doing a great job though, right?" he said, turning to look at her.
She smiled before nodding and walking over to you, placing her hand on the top of your knee. "You can trust Lemillion," she said, you felt a little pathetic that your younger sister was trying to comfort you. It should be the other way around.
You brought your lower lip into your mouth, chewing on it before looking up at Mirio who continued to wear a smile. You shifted your gaze back to Eri and sighed. "Um, o-okay," you said, slowly placing your hand in Mirio's.
"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe...sunshine," he promised, wrapping his fingers around your hand. "Uh, heh..." you hesitantly chuckled, a little confused and flustered by the name. But regardless, you allowed him to help you back on your feet. It was strange having someone be so gentle with you after everything you had been through.
"There, that wasn't so bad was it?" he asked and you felt your throat tighten and forced yourself to swallow hard. Your hand was trembling and this almost made him frown, but maybe once you were outside you'd feel better. After all, there was nothing like some fresh air!
"Mm..." you latched onto your lip and your teeth sunk further into it the nearer you got to the door. You could feel how Eri clasped onto your free hand and saw how her smile grew when Mirio cried "Here we go!" before throwing the door open.
And that's how you found yourself here. A gasp escaped when you suddenly heard a buzzing noise and frantically crawled backward. This immediately got Mirio's attention and both him and Eri ran over to you but your eyes were focused on the small honeybee that landed on a nearby flower.
"What's the matter!?" he exclaimed, his face twisted with concern but he noticed how your eyes were locked on the flower and curiously looked at it. That's when he noticed the bee and placed his hands on his hips with a light chuckle. "Huh?" Eri looked at him confused and he reached over to pluck the flower.
The bee remained on it, still desiring to retrieve its nectar and pollinate it in return. "There's nothing to be afraid of," he insisted before sitting down next to you and Eri next to him. You swallowed, not sure whether you trusted his words or not.
The bee flew away a few moments later, making you flinch again. "See?" he said, smiling as he stared at you. The way your hair fell in your face was similar to Eri's and he had the desire to reach over and brush it away.
"Um, can I..." he lifted his hand but frowned when you flinched in response as if he were going to hurt you. But, he didn't take it personally given the fact that he knew about your past and yeah, it did make him a little angry that Kai Chisaki had created such fear in you.
Yet as soon as he touched your hair and gently brushed a piece of it behind your ear, your shoulders slumped and you turned to him with a look of surprise. He sighed at the sight of those beautiful eyes wide and full of curiosity.
"Here," he said, placing the freshly picked flower behind your ear. "There! You look...gorgeous!" he said, although he couldn't help but give a nervous chuckle which was a little strange considering he wasn't one to let his nerves get in the way of anything.
You looked at him with wide eyes. "I...I w-what?" you replied, feeling an abnormal heat course through your cheeks. "Uh heh well..." he rubbed the back of his head. There was no way he was going to confess to you how he felt, then again it wouldn't be very heroic to run away from your feelings.
"It's just been wonderful getting to know you these past few months! Even if you spend most of your time inside, I..." he paused and you watched as his bright blue eyes scanned over your face and immediately stiffened when he placed his hands on the ground and began to lean forward with the intention of kissing you.
Of course, this was unknown to you and you leaned back, unsure of what was happening. Just as you were about to reach out and push him away, Eri stepped in between the two of you and unintentionally blocked Mirio's kiss. Instead of your lips, he ended up kissing her cheek.
"Huh?" he blinked, pulling back immediately as Eri pressed her hand to the side of her face and looked at Mirio with wide curious eyes. "Oops, heh sorry," he said, laughing nervously, he was not expecting that.
"Uh..." you raised your eyebrow, unsure if Mirio had meant to do that or not. Actually, what was he planning on doing? You latched onto your lip and nervously chuckled before shyly standing up. "Uh...I t-think I'm going to go back inside," you said.
Mirio frowned, jumping to his feet. "Wait, I can walk you back!" he insisted with his hand held out. You jumped at the sound of his voice and turned around, looking at him with wide eyes. "Oh n-no, it's alright!" you insisted before looking at Eri.
"I'm sure Eri wants to...stay out here so...I-I'll be fine," you said, trying to offer him a smile but much like your little sister, you found it somewhat difficult to do. "Heh...bye," you shyly waved before walking away leaving Mirio slightly upset.
He lowered his hand, feeling some regret that he had failed to express his feelings for you. "Mm..." Eri noticed the way he was frowning and placed her hand on his leg. "Hm?" he looked down and knew he couldn't spoil Eri's day even if he wasn't the happiest at the moment.
So he smiled and crouched down. "Heh sorry, we'll have fun now, I promise!" he forced his smile to grow bigger but Eri didn't return the happy expression. Instead, she tilted her head. "Is it my fault she doesn't wanna be outside anymore?" she asked and Mirio immediately shook his head.
"No!" he exclaimed, "Of course not, it's just..." he scratched the side of his cheek. "I was trying to get her to...like me," he admitted and Eri blinked a few times. "But, she does like you," she replied making Mirio chuckle and place his hand on her head.
"I'm glad to hear that," he said, and although he knew that Eri might not understand the way that he wanted you to like him, he'd continue to try. After all, it was only a matter of time before you felt comfortable in your new home but even if you didn't, that wouldn't stop him from telling you how he felt eventually.
Katsuki Bakugou x F!Reader
Warning: Angst, characrer death, dark themes talked about, hurt, fluff *more at the end*,
Summary: How do you move on when your childhood love has left you behind, with your one year old child too.
How long had it been? A day? A week? Time had seemed to slip by at different speeds ever since that night.
It seemed like any other day where you kissed Katsuki goodbye on his way out the door, your son Katsu giggling as he waved bye-bye to his father, "Bye-bye!" He cheered, Katsuki smirking and placing a kiss on his sons forehead, "Look after your Mama for me little man, Papa will be back tonight," you could only laugh and wish him luck and to be safe out on patrol, "I will, don't worry, I'll be back tonight and we can talk about how we're gonna take the little bud to our special place, that sound good, huh Blossom?" You beamed and nodded, leaning up for one last kiss goodbye. Katsuki turned and walked down the stairs to his car, though he couldn't help but turn and look at you two one last time, an actual smiling rising to his face. He waved once more before getting in and driving away in his car, honking a final goodbye like he did every morning.
Yet things would never be like every morning again.
Katsuki normally came home around 5PM, so you knew somthing was wrong when it had reached 7PM and you hadn't received a phone call, even a text letting you know he was running late or had stopped somewhere on the way home. Of course, God hears prayers and your phone began to ring as you picked it up, seeing Kirishimas contact number. "Hey Kiri! Is everything okay?""(Y-Y/n)" he choked out, this causing you to stand alert and question him again, "what's wrong? What happened?" Kirishimas voice shook as he tried to find the courage and strength to continue, "B-bakubro..h-hes in very rough shape, they don't know if he's gonna..gonna.." he couldn't finish the sentence, his voice breaking again as he found it hard to continue without sobbing. You could only hear your ears ring as the phone slipped out of your hand and landed with a BANG on the tiled floor. Scrambling to pick up the phone it all seemed to happen in a flash and you demanded to know where he was as you grabbed Katsu and your shoes, running out the door.
You could barely remember getting to the hospital. Barely remembering the train ride there as you held Katsu close to you. A silent prayer for your husband to be okay. You could barely remember begging to see your husband, needing to see him. Katsu crying from the over stimulation of the noise and action going on around him and you doing the same as the Drs informed you they did all they could.
"His injuries were too severe, I'm so sorry,"
Silence and ringing flooded your ears as you dropped to the floor, a pain taking over your chest as your held Katsu to you. A nurse kneeling beside you to pat your back wasn't even acknowledged as you screamed for Katsuki. Fellow Pro Heros stood off to the side, classmates and friends, all with tears of their own.
Katsuki had been the one to run back into a Villain attack to save a child. A child a little older than Katsu, whose Mother had been separated from her in the first Villain attack that blew up a street corner. Katsuki had been a true Hero to the end. Risking his life for others, and now his life had come to an end.
Kirishima and Midoriya came over to console you, yet they knew nothing they said could help the pain and devastation you felt inside. Your husband, your childhood sweet heart was gone. Ripped from you and your child forever. Tears flowed down your face from your red rimmed (E/c) eyes as you bent over, gagging and sobbing, your body literally sick and hurt from the news.
You don't remeber leaving, you don't remember getting home to meet Mitsuki and Masaru there. You don't remeber the four of you embracing as you shed tears together. The only thing you could remember was how empty your heart seemed from that point on.

"Papa"
It seemed to be Katsu's new favorite word, before he never really seemed to talk but ever since Katsuki, he'd been growing more and more. His words expanding more each day but yet he still chose 'Papa' and would always seem to stare at the pictures of him on the wall. The pictures you couldn't bare to look at, yet you couldn't find it in you to take down.
You stared at your bundle of joy who sat on his baby blanket in the living room, yourself seated on the couch. It was an early Saturday morning, almost two months after Katsuki had been ripped from your lives. His presence seemed to slowly leave the house too, though it was also because you couldn't being yourself to remember him much, the pain so crushing that you'd start crying all over again. Grieving was painful and sometimes you just didn't acknowledge it, holding onto the hope that Katsuki would somehow walk through the door.
Observing your child, sorrow filled your heart as you clenched your chest tightly with your fist. His hair was the same spiky blonde of his father's, his eyes the sharp vermillion, only they seemed more round and gentle like yours. At least. That's what Katsuki would say and he would boast on how his son was a looker but bad your charms. Those love and warmth filled days seemed so far in the past, but had it really only been a few months ago?
A knock broke you out of your depressive thoughts as you sighed, standing up from the couch and brushing your hands through your messed up (H/c) locks to seem more presentable. Opening the door your came face to face with your Mother-In-Law who smiled and in her hands she held a medium sized box. "Hi Honey, how're you today?" Mizuki had made it her mission to come around every other day to check on you. Even though she'd lost a son, she knew this was hard on you as well. Losing a best friend, a lover, a husband and the father to your child.
You forced a smile and invited her in, "I'm doing fine,"you couldn't fool her, but she hoped what she'd brought you would help the process of healing and acceptance. "I found some old things, I thought you'd wanna see,"
Having taken a seat on your couch, Katsu yelled in excitement, standing up on wobbly legs to toddle over to his Grandma who scooped him up and hugged him, and she couldn't help but imagine she was hugging her Katsuki again.
Opening the box, you were taken back as you stared at old photographs. Ones taken of you and Katsuki, even your old friends. Tears pricked your eyes as you reached out a shaky hand and picked one up. It was a quick snapshot of you and Katsuki, both dressed in your U.A uniforms on the first day of school.
"Oh look how precious you are! Come on Katsuki smile for once dammit!" Mizuki scolded, wanting him to at least pretend to be happy. You laughed at his expression as he yelled to his mother in annoyance, "Damn Hag! We're gonna be late of you don't knock your shit off!" Taking a hold of his arm, you wrapped yours around him and smiled to Mizuki, who took a picture as Katsukis face turned bright red and he looked elsewhere but the camera, embarrassed you'd been so close. Looking up at him with your big, (e/c) eyes, you squeezed his arm and he looked to you, the pink flush still apparent on his face. "Yeah yeah, whatever Blossom," he grumbled, but moved his arm to put it around your shoulders as his mom took another picture, this one of you both actually looking happily at eachother.
You put your hand up to your mouth to quiet your sobs, but Mizuki just smiled and rested a hand ontop of yours that held the picture shakingly. "Its hard to forget someone who left so many memories, but he'd want you to embrace what you had together, what you still have together," Mizuki brought you in for a hug as you cried, Katsu not knowing what was going on, yet he sensed you needed comfort so he climbed into your lap, wrapping his arms around you and squeezed, your arms coming around him as you hugged him back.
~
When Mizuki had gone, you sat back down at the table where the photographs were and laying them out in front of you and Katsu, you could only smile in as you riminisced how much love you and Katsuki had shared in the time you had together.
"Oi! Let's go dammit, I ain't got all fucking day Blossom," Katsuki called out to you as he entered your classroom. Your classmates however could only look in shock as you bounced from your seat, rushing over to him as he turned and began to walk out the door. "We're having lunch outside, I don't feel like being around all the stupid extras from class," "Aww but isn't Midoriya in your class? Maybe we should invite him!" "NO WAY IN HELL! THAT DAMN DEKU CAN DROWN IN HIS OWN PISS FOR ALL I CARE AND DONT TALK ABOUT HIM," It always amused you how easy it was to get him riled up, his hands popping with small explosions as he rounded on you, though you knew he'd never hurt you. Giggling you took a picture of him in his angry mode as you held up a peace sign, his expression blowing up more once he realized what you were doing. Of course, he'd never admit that seeing you happy made him happy. Not now at least.
"Your Papa always treated me so nice, I hope you'll treat your someone the same way," you softened your expression to Katsu who looked at the picture with large eyes full of wonder, "Papa," he mumbled, reaching a hand out to the picture as if he could really feel his Father.
This made your lips quiver with another round of tears, emotion flooding to you like when you'd first told Katsuki about Katsu.
You sat nervously in your house, Katsuki was due home anytime now. You guys had only been married a few months, only two years out of high school as you wanted some time before marriage to focus on your careers a little more. Yet by 20 and 21 years old Katsuki couldn't take it anymore and proposed, confessing on how he'd wanted to do this since the last year of high school and how he wanted to grow old with you, like how you'd been growing together since childhood.
Yet here you stood, just having turned 21 and pregnant, and Katsuki never really spoke about children, you two seemed to have been content with eachother that who knows what a baby could bring into the mix. "Hey I'm home," his voice called out as you froze, it was now or never. Turning to him, he could tell right away somthing was wrong, "What's-" "IM PREGNANT" You screeched at him, face bright red as he just stared at you, vermillion eyes shot wide and his mouth dropped open. His bag that was slung around his shoulder also fell to the floor, it's THUD being the only noise heard for a good minute. Of course Katsuki broke out of it with a large grin, whooping as he dashed over to you and picked you up. Spinning around he screaming in happiness, "HELL YEAH! IM GONNA FUCKING BE A DAD!" You cheered too as he set you down, tears forming in his eyes as he pressed his hand to your stomach, his forehead resting against your own as you smiled to each other. "Thank you," was all he said before kissing you.
You ran your fingers through Katsu's hair, now feeling a blazing warmth fill you as you looked back on all the amazing memories with him. An idea struck you though which made you smile softly, picking up your small budding boy and carrying him upstairs. There was something you wanted to share with Katsu, and tomorrow would be the day to do it.
~
Dawning a light pink sundress that happened to be one of Katsuki'a favorites on you, you dressed Katsu in a matching pink shirt and a pair of tan shorts. Heading out of the house, you took a quick train ride over to a park. The warm Spring day enveloping you as you walked with Katsu down the sidewalk, his small eyes taking in everything he could.
Settling down on an old wooden bench, the white paint faded from the few years of weather damage, you turned toward Katsu and motioned to the area. "This is where Mama met Papa," of course him being 1 and a half he didn't quite understand, but yet he looked at the flowers that surrounded you, noticing a particular one, "Mama" and reached out the special orange flower that had caught his eye, when a small, yellowish butterfly landed on it.
Your eyes widened in surprise as you took notice of the small creature. Butterflies had always been your favorite, as your quirk revolved around plants and flowers, Butterflies naturally came as a favorite for their beautiful wings.
Katsuki when learning this had said he'd wanna be a Butterfly just so he could be around your flowers all day, and be with you always. A look of fondness crossed your face as you reached out to the butterfly, it's wings beating twice as it flew onto your finger and you brought it slowly over to Katsu who grinned, his cheeks lighting up pink as he squealed, "Papa!," and you could only nod and close your eyes for a moment as you imagined Katsuki, relishing in the moments you'd had together.
"Hey, what's your problem?" A boyish voice had broken through your quiet sobs, you turning toward the voice to see a young boy with spiky blonde hair and red eyes staring at you confused, though his cheeks flushed a light pink when your glossy (e/c) eyes met his. "I-I was just growing m-my flowers when some m-mean b-boys ruined them," you choked out, motioning to the ruined orange flowers that sat beside you, their petals all torn and missing, the stems mangled from behind yanked apart. Katsuki wasn't sure how to handle this, usually if someone was crying he'd just ignore them or tell them to suck it up. Yet with you he actually wanted to make you feel better, he just wasn't sure on how to go about that in this moment.
Katsuki looked around and found an orange flower, seemingly matching the ones you had next to you, causing him to he pick a few and brought it over to you, where you still sat sniffling a little. He held his hand out and presented them to you, his cheeks a darker red when your eyes widened in surprise before a smile took over your chubby face, "Cosmos? What are these for?"You questioned, taking them from his hands and as your fingers brushed against eachother he shivered and turned away with a pout, "I just want you to stop crying, you look ugly when you cry," he winced when he realized what he did and had said, but he looked back in surprise when you giggled, standing up to face him properly, "My name is (L/n) (Y/n), do you wanna be friends?" You held your hand out to him, and he could only smirk and nod, introducing himself, "The name is Bakugou Katsuki, I'm gonna be the Number 1 Hero one day," you laughed, taking his hand and running off to the playground, your moms taking a quick picture of the interaction from afar.
You felt a sense of relief flood through you, your arm around Katsu as he laughed watching the Butterfly leave, some more joining it in the sky. You kissed his head and looked up to the setting sun, the wind caressing both of you under the orangeish pink sky. "We'll be okay," you mumbled, feeling a lingering touch on your head.
"Yeah, we'll be okay,"
