Dad!Bakugo x Mom!Reader pt. one

Characters are depicted as 20+. CW: female!pregnant!reader, pregnancy, reader with a kid, married couple, domestic fluff.

~~~
For the most part, there weren't many things you and Katsuki hid from your kid. The both of you saw no point in telling her little white lies. She was a smart child and usually figured things out pretty fast. So whenever she grabbed something and said "what's dis?" or pointed and asked "whats dat?" the answers were usually straightforward and honest. Of course there were some exceptions, like Santa Clause or more accurately for her cause Jack Skellington.
It was no surprise to you when you heard the familiar question of "What's dis?" You didn't expect to turn around and find your two year old holding your positive pregnancy test in her little hands. You could feel your soul leave your body, but you didn't let your momentary terror show.
You walked over to her and crouched to her level, smiling. "Well, that's a special test for parents."
"Ohhhh!" she let out. She looked just like Katsuki, but sweeter and more curious. She had big red eyes that were always full of questions and his unruly blonde hair. "What does it do?"
You took the stick from her and showed her the front of it. "It tells parents if they're going to have a baby."
She made another cute exclamation as if she understood everything. She was quiet for a minute, staring at the test as if she were waiting for it to speak to her. Then she brought her eyes up to you. "Well?"
You giggled and pointed at the little symbols, explaining their meaning to her. She looked at the test again and examined it even closer. You could tell she was a stumped, and you remember the feeling from the first time you had to read a pregnancy test three years ago.
"It says I'm gonna have a baby," you tell her. You'd been nervous to tell her because you had no idea how she would react. Your daughter was sweet, but she was her father's daughter. When she didn't understand or like something, she got mad and red in the face, screaming her head off. You dreaded the day she got her quirk, sure of yourself that it would be akin to Katsuki's.
She stared at you, and a pit began to grow in your stomach. But then she smiled so brightly and started bouncing on her feet. She started looking around, searching your person for something. You stifled a laugh and straightened her up in front of you. "The baby is in my tummy, sweetie."
"Why?"
"Because that's were babies need to grow and get strong," you told her, standing up. You pocketed the test and picked her up, carrying her to the couch and sitting with her on your lap. "Then, when they're done growing in my tummy, they come out and live with us and you're gonna have a baby brother or baby sister."
She was still bouncing, her little hands balled up into shaking fists. She could hardly hold in her excitement. It made you smile, happy to see she was taking this very well. You kissed her head.
"Daddy doesn't know yet, it's a surprise," you told her. She put a finger to her lips and shushed you, giggling. "Do you wanna surprise him with me?"
She nodded excitedly.
Everything Has Changed
Izuku watched his son play with his superhero action figures, was he allowed to call him that? His son. Could you call someone your son when you barely knew them? Izuku had missed birthdays, first words, and first steps. What kind of father does that?
His own.
Everything Has Changed
Maybe that’s why this all hurt so much because he turned into what he feared the most. He turned into the ghost from his own life. He became someone’s missing piece.
Could he blame you or was that taking the easy way out. Was that the easiest way to take out the plethora of emotions on his plate? He felt the sofa dip on his left, glancing he caught your wavering smile. “You’re staring you know.”
“Sorry…” His lips formed a line as he repositioned himself. “I’m just messing with you…” You sighed leaning back, “I don’t expect you to… be happy about any of this...or be happy with me.” Izuku leaned back, sinking into the couch with you. Looking down at his hands he popped his knuckles with anxious feelings. “Yeah, I’m not happy…”
“Were you ever going to tell me?” His tone wasn’t accusing or with anger, but it was full of hurt.
“No...I wasn’t. Not until I saw your mom…” Izuku felt his heart drop, not knowing how to respond he stayed silent, letting the sounds of clinking plastic take his place.
“I was embarrassed...and I didn’t want you to pity me. I didn’t want you to be stuck with me because of a baby. You broke up with me, how was I supposed to tell you something like that right after. It’s not your fault it’s mine. I know that now.” You picked at the fraying fabric of your dress. The feeling in your stomach was unsettling and you had bile dancing on your tongue.
Izuku tried to comfort himself by rubbing his hands on his knees before speaking again. “You know when I left that night, I had this bad feeling. Like...that I should turn back, maybe talk things out with you. It felt like I had forgotten something and I never knew what it was and I’ve felt like that since.” His eyes were filled with tears as he finally spilled his guts after five years. “I still love you...I haven’t dated anyone since, I’ve been waiting to see you again...but this changes everything.”
Goosebumps run across your skin at his words. Chewing on your lip you brought yourself to the edge of the couch resting your elbows on your knees. Holding your face you spoke again. “I know, and I know you don’t have to care for us-.” A thud and the clattering of plastic stopped you mid-sentence.
You stood up at the cry of Itsuki as he tripped falling back. The thud alerted you before his cries, making you rush over to him. The moment made Izuku feel...fuzzy? Not in a good way, but not in a bad way either. It felt surreal watching you pick up his mini-me and coddle him, the way you were able to soothe the whining child amazed him. You amazed him.
You kissed the boy's head bouncing him up and down on your hip blowing raspberries on his cheek to make him laugh.
“I know this isn’t your fault, but this isn’t his fault either. He needs a father, he wants a father...he deserves a father.” Inko rested a hand on Izuku’s shoulder pressing her fingers in as a slight warning. “You’re going to give him that because I said so.”
She gave her son a knowing look, a look that said, don’t become your father.
Inko walked back to the kitchen, leaving Izuku to sit and watch you alone. How did you do this alone? Were you alone for all of this? Was your family even in the picture, or did they not want their fresh out of high school pregnant daughter. Did you have money? Did you have a good job? Were you living somewhere safe?
His mind was everywhere, with so many unanswered questions and possibilities. Horrible possibilities.
“Izuku?” You tapped his shoulders making him look up at you. Itsuki held onto you, curious about the new man he was meeting. “Can we do introductions?” You asked, walking on eggshells. Izuku’s eyes opened wide. Nodding he cleared his throat as you put the toddler down. You sat behind the two on the floor waiting for them to talk.
Ten hours ago you would have never imagined the scene playing out in front of you. Your son and his father. His real father, not some guy trying to get in your pants by being a bargain dad. Izuku wanted to be there, and not just for you.
Everything Has Changed
It took Itsuki less than a month to get utterly attached to Izuku. You couldn’t say the same for yourself. Izuku wasn’t ready to forgive you, and he had that right, but it was painful. But you waited. You were still waiting.
“Are you sure?” Your voice was quiet just above a whisper as you asked Itsuki your question. This sudden new person in his life had made him lose all interest in being with you. It was like overnight you had disappeared from his life. You weren’t the person he wanted to run to, you couldn’t soothe his nightmares anymore, he didn’t even want you to pick him up from school. He just wanted Daddy.
And who were you to tell him no. You couldn’t tell him no. You had kept this part of him locked in a box for five whole years. “Yes I want to stay with Daddy.” Itsuki grabbed his bag, stuffing clothes and unnecessary toys into it. You sighed, grabbing your phone begrudgingly looking for Izuku’s contact.
Clicking on his name it highlighted before soft rings accompanied you. Your phone only buzzed twice before it was answered. “Y/n? Is everything okay? Is Itsuki okay?”
“Oh yeah...he just wants to come over again..” You tried to hold in your disappointment as you sat on the bed making it creak. You messed with your bedding waiting for a response even if you already knew the answer. “Of course he can, just head this way, I’ll wait.” Izuku sounded ecstatic, in pure bliss, why wouldn’t he be. It’s like he became a hero all over again.
Everything Has Changed
Itsuki ran ahead of you to his fathers door. Skipping and jumping forward, humming the Deku theme song, something he picked up as of late. You followed him almost in shame. Itsuki hit his fist against the door, rocking back and forth on his feet.
The front door pulled back to reveal a half asleep Izuku in flannel pants and a T-shirt. Itsuki hugged him before running in the house, you were watching him with a sad smile when you met Izuku’s eyes. “Are you alright?”
You nodded before your face fell into distress. Tears bubbled and began to overflow. Izuku rushed towards you in an instant. “Hey what’s wrong?” His hands rested on your shoulders rubbing comforting circles on them. “Itsuki,” Izuku’s muscles tensed at your answer, had something happened to his son within the short time he had left, “he loves you...so much.”
Relaxing confusion covered his face as he chuckled lightly. “Is that a bad thing?” You pouted through your tears. “No, no of course not...but I don’t think he loves me anymore…” Izuku quirked an eyebrow up before bringing his hand under your chin. “Why would you think that?” Opening your mouth to explain he stopped you. “Itsuki loves you, all he ever talks about is you. How he wants to make you happy…”
Taken back you bit down on your lip. Tears were still running down your face. Izuku wiped them away as they came before bringing you in with a hug. His grip was tight, you couldn’t even extend your own arms out to return the hug, but you welcomed the warmth. You welcomed the reassurance and gratitude he poured out to you. Izuku wasn't necessarily your missing piece, but more of a support beam. “I think Itsuki just needs to get used to having both of us in his life and to help with that…”
Pulling away his scarred hands held your face, his skin was rough and gentle all at once. His eyes were still wide and doe-like and his face held the constellations of your world. “...I think I’m ready to try again, if you are.”
For the first time that night your smile was full of happiness , wrapping your arms around him you squeezed him tight. “I’d love to.”
Ao'nung x F!Deaf!Metkayina!Reader
Summary: Ao'nung has loved you since childhood.
Warning: Fluff, Ao'nung is a jerk to everyone but reader, some angst (I love emotional revelation of feelings), characters are aged up 18+ but no warnings here! Ronal ships reader and Ao'nung,
Note: was a request from @keyratch hope you enjoy it!
Listen
~.~
Growing up, you always knew you were different. You couldn't hear the ocean waves, couldn't listen to the music of your clan for celebrations. You couldn't even harmonize with your mother as she sings to lull you to sleep.
Being born deaf, your parents tried so hard to pray to Eywa for a sign. The Tsahìk, Ronal, tried every herb and technique she knew, but nothing could change who you were.
What Eywa had decided for you to be.
You never blamed Eywa though, for the Great Mother had blessed you to feel a connection to her. You could feel her in the sand; the warmth of the sun that she blessed you with, the coolness of the ocean as you swam to admire the creatures she's created.
Even as a small child you had been drawn to the beauty of the Pandora.
The smallest sea shells you would collect and braid into your hair, stringing some together to make a necklace, bracelet, or head peice. The brightest floral you would gather to present to friends and family, just because the beauty of them made you think of others.
Ao'nung had only been eight when he met you for the first time. While training with his father on spear throwing he had caught sight of you collecting sea shells.
He was so distracted by you, he grabbed the spear wrong and cut his finger. Letting out a small hiss of pain, he instantly sucked on it, causing his father to gaze at him and then at you. Tonowari couldn't help but chuckle, "I see the silent beauty has caught your eye," Ao'nung was confused by his father's words, but quickly denied having even spotted you.
"Well that's too bad, because here she comes right now," sure enough you had seen the leader with his son, Ao'nung and had started over in their direction when you saw the big was hurt.
Ao'nung could only feel himself freeze as you closed the distance fast, suddenly reaching out to grab his hand as he tried to back away,
"H-hey! What are you doing?!" Ao'nung flinched as you pressed on his finger, the one he'd cut being too caught up looking at you. You never said anything, just brought out a healing leaf from your hip pouch and wrapped his finger quickly and efficiently.
"Thank you," he mumbled, you smiled and let go of his hand, signing to him, 'Would you like to play after training?' It had puzzled him why you didn't just ask out loud, but after looking to his father for assurance, he nodded to you causing you to smile and nod, turning back the way you'd come and headed away.
"Father, why didn't she just ask me?" Ao'nung questioned, looking up at Tomowari who smiled sadly at him, "she is deaf my son, she cannot speak for she never learned how, she cannot hear you," Ao'nung didn't feel any different towards you, maybe more curious, but he never felt like you were weird.
~.~
After that day many years ago, Ao'nung had grown, and so did his love for you. What started out as amazement and adoration as children, had since grown into feeling as if you were the only one for him.
The way you helped his sister with day to day chores, such grace and beauty weaving baskets and collecting herbs for his mother. The complete definition of selfless as you taught the children of the clan their sign, who else but you with your patience and grace.
The tingles you left on his body when you would tap his hand, shoulder, arm, anything to get his attention. You left him yearning for your attention day and night. Left him in agonizing pain at the thought of having you with him under the stars but couldn't.
Yourself however, would be a prize to any fine young Na'vi, but to your own self image you were at the bottom of the food chain. Your biggest insecurity being your deafness. You would never hear your mates words of love and comfort, would never hear the giggles of your own future children should Great Mother bless you with any.
You never had anyone express interest in you, although Ao'nung made sure of that, not that you knew. He always glared, growled or warned any man who looked in your direction. He made sure to linger a hand on your waist while talking, a smug look over his shoulder at the hunters who had tried to talk to you, a smirk at the Ilu keepers who tried to get to close.
When the Sullys had arrived, you had been busy helping Ronal with her duties as she was trusting you to take over while she got ready to give birth.
You didn't get to see Tsireya and Ao'nung as often as they were busy with teaching the new comers the traditions and expectations of the clan.
'(Y/N) go fetch Ao'nung, he should be down on the beach,' Ronal requested, you nodded, standing from your sitting position and heading out of the Marui, starting your trek to the beach.
You had found a few flowers on your way, taking a moment to pluck them from the ground and arranged them nicely. Maybe Ao'nung would like something to help brighten his mood.
Stopping once you reached the beach, you felt your eyes widen in disbelief as Ao'nung and his friends were surrounding Kiri, pointing at her and laughing. Kiri was clearly uncomfortable and trying to walk away, luckily Lo'ak came and started to intercept the boys, only they turned their hateful ways onto him.
You felt your fists clench up, nervously twisting the flowers. You started walking in that direction, Neteyam showing up as well from beside you, making yourself known too.
Ao'nungs ears pressed back, his body feeling hot with embarrassment that you'd caught him being rude to someone.
"Oh look, big brother to the rescue-" Ao'nung reached his hand out, silencing his friend who bowed his head obediently. "I need you to respect my sister from now on," Neteyam threatened, his eyes glaring into Ao'nung who nodded, trying to ease the anxiety in his chest as you approached too.
You tapped Kiris hand, the girl turning to you as you looked her over, as she tried to calm you down, 'I'm fine, no harm done,' she assured, you face turning into one of doubt but giving up in the end.
The three siblings went to walk away, but Lo'ak suddenly turned around and went back to Ao'nung, his smirk and quirked eyebrow making you upset a little. Why was he acting this way? Was he really this mean to them?
Ao'nung didn't know what had happened when Lo'ak punched him, one second he was standing and the next on the floor with his friends helping him up. They all jumped Lo'ak who held his ground to the best of his abilities, but soon found his brother Neteyam jumping in to help him.
You gasped, hands covering your mouth in disbelief, the flowers falling into the sand forgotten. Why were they doing this? 'Kiri, we need to stop them' you told her, but even she could only look on in a mix of horror and laughter.
Deciding that enough was enough, you inserted yourself into the fight, Ao'nungs friends quickly backing away as you pulled them off.
Neteyam hadn't seen you enter the fight, when he felt his shoulder get touched he quickly turned and went to punch the person, barely being able to stop himself before he hit you.
You had flinched inward, arms raised quickly to protect yourself, eyes shut incase of pain. "(Y/N)!" Ao'nung threw himself to you, shoving Neteyam out of the way, his hands gently grabbing yours to bring them down.
You squeaked, the cutest sound Ao'nung had ever heard, and opened your eyes to see Ao'nung checking you for injuries despite his cheek being bruised and lip busted. His eyes held fear and worry, hands moving from your arms to gently hold your face.
An adult nearby had brought his father and Toruk Makto, but he didn't care for the shouts that were happening, he could only focus on you. He brought his hands into view, 'You okay?' Ao'nung questioned, though your face contorted into worry as you held his face, feeling bad when he flinched from your thumb brushing his cheek.
He grabbed your hand and held it at his side as he turned to Neteyam, "Don't you ever touch her again!" If it hadn't been for his father pulling him away with you in tow, he would've attacked the oldest sibling.
"Maybe don't start things your girlfriend tries to finish!" Lo'ak yelled back, getting dragged away by his own father.
Upon entering the Marui, his mother hit him upside the head, "skxqwng! You brought (Y/n) into this?! I pray for the resilience to not break your bones!" Ao'nung averted his mother and fathers gaze, his head down as he couldn't even look to you either. Ashamed you had caught him at his worst moment.
"I leave (Y/n) to take care of your wounds, Great Mother help you find some sense!" Ronal hissed, Tonowari leading her out of the Marui to give you two some privacy.
You slowly walked over, placing a hand on his arm, Ao'nung letting you lead him to the mat and both of you sitting down facing eachother.
'What were you thinking?' You inquired, waiting for his reply as you began to mix a paste together. 'I wasn't thinking, but they deserved it, freaks all of them' he huffed, sucking it back in when you roughly applied the paste to his cheek.
His eyes found yours as you stared at him with hurt, 'What does that make me then? I cannot hear, I cannot speak well, they can communicate freely, I have to look for eyes and attention,'
Ao'nung felt his throat constrict, his hands clamy. You were so beautiful in his eyes, but the way he treated them made you think ill of yourself and that's not want he wanted.
You looked down, eyes glossy from unshed tears. His hand on your chin made you look at him, your lip trembling as your ears pressed back.
Ao'nung let go and signed only one word, but it made your body erupt in flames.
'Beautiful'
~.~
Since the incident with the boys on the beach, Ao'nung tried to be kind in your presence when the sullys were around but when the opportunity to trick Lo'ak revealed itself, he couldn't help it.
When he returned though and found you looking at him with those eyes again. Eyes filled with pain and now disappointment, he knew had to do the right thing.
'I'm sorry,' he apologized, finding you alone by the beach later that night. You turned from him, arms crossed. You weren't going to look at him or reply.
He fell to his knees in front of you, grasping at your hands desperately. You huffed, eyes glaring into him. Ao'nung used to pray he would never see that day you gave him that look, but after what he'd done to Lo'ak he could say he deserved it.
Hands trailing from your hands down to your elbows, he slowly let go and began to speak, "I'm sorry, I know I've been stupid and they don't deserve that, I'm not sure what I was thinking," Ao'nung kept his eyes trained on yours, watching you look exhausted.
"Why risk the danger? What if he'd gotten hurt? Or worse, you," you felt your lips pull back in a snarl, though he could only find pleasure in the fierceness of your face. His heart beat fast knowing you cared about him.
"I wish you would think with this," you placed your hand on his chest, feeling his erratic heartbeat, "not with this," you playfully pushed his forehead, a smile appearing on your lips. You couldn't stay mad at him, not when he smiled at you as softly as he did now.
He grasped your hand, bringing it back to his chest. You felt your own speed up to match his, both of you filled with deep affection for one another, not that the other knew.
You both stared at eachother for what felt like hours, yet only a few minutes had passed, just enjoying eachothers company.
When you had broken out of your daydream however, you quickly pulled your hand away and stood up, eyes darting everywhere but him as you shakily signed, "we shouldn't be doing this, I have to go,"
Ao'nung couldn't stand fast enough when you pulled away, tripping over the sand as you ran. Everything had just been perfect, what had happened?
~.~
You helped Ronal to sit, her stomach slowly getting bigger as the days went on. "Baby is good?" You wondered, a grin on your face of excitement as she nodded, her own smile gracing her features.
'Baby is strong, maybe a boy like Ao'nung,' she replied, you nodding in agreement, 'Ao'nung differently is strong,'
'Yes, he will be a great Olo'eyktan, if only he hurry and choose his Tsahìk,' she let her eyes slip to your figure out of the corner of her sight, seeing you quickly look down and away. Not out of embarrassment it seemed, but out of disappointment.
Ronal frowned, she did not like seeing you so hurt, especially by her own child, lest he be stupid enough to do it.
Ronal placed her hand on your cheek, bringing your face back up to make eye contact with her, 'why do you look so sad? What has happened?'
You tried to brush her off, 'it's nothing, I'm sure whoever he chooses will make a lovely Tsahìk,' you began to ramble, hands moving quickly, 'Ney`ite is the best diver, Alyara is known to sing beautifully, from what I've seen and been told,'
'He deserves someone who can help him feel better on rough days, someone who can actually listen and help with his problems, who loves and cherishes him as he is,'
Ronal tapped your hand, causing you to heat up in realization, you'd been rambling for too long. 'Someone, like you?' She quirked her brow, a knowing smirk on her face.
You shook your head, eyes feeling glossy with tears, 'what do I have to offer him?' You felt a hiccup erupt in your throat from trying to hold in your sobs, 'I cannot listen to his problems, I cannot comfort our children with words when crying, no one would look to me, Eywa may love me as she created me, but surely Ao'nung loves another,'
Ronal felt her eyes catch the sight of a figure standing behind you. Ao'nung could only stand frozen as he saw what you thought of yourself. He's never loved anyone like he loves you, and it's his fault for making you think otherwise.
Ronal grasped your hands firmly, shaking her head at you. Ronal reached a hand for Ao'nung who walked over, his shadow startling you as you looked upwards, his face looking hurt by your own tears.
Ronal placed your hand in his, his fingers gripping your own softly but firm, like a silent promise to never let go.
The Tsahìk bowed in exiting the Marui, leaving both of you alone.
Ao'nung knelt to face you, your cheeks hot with humiliation that he had to see you like this. You tried to look elsewhere but he placed his hand on your cheek, turning your face towards him.
He let go, feeling a moment of Deja Vu as he thought back to two nights ago by the water. When you both had been just as close in the sand.
"You are not less than anyone here," he signed, feeling his heart excelerate with emotion.
'(Y/n), I don't need to hear your voice to know your words are strong and kind, I don't need your words of comfort when your touches are enough,' he placed your hand on his chest, just as he did those nights ago. He hoped you would feel his heart that's beating full of love for you.
You could only feel a bizarre rush of emotions, anger at yourself for letting Ao'nung find out this way, fear in what is to come, yet, love from knowing he felt the same as you did.
'I'm sorry you did not see yourself as adequate when you are more than I could ever dream, the love you hold for our clan speaks words where your lips may fail,'
You felt your lips quiver, tears falling down your face as you tried to hold yourself together.
'I see you, (Y/n), and I would love for you to become my Tsahìk, my mate,'
You laughed, 'I would love to spend my life with you, I see you, Ao'nung,' you pressed your forehead to his, his own tear or two slipping from his eye as you both enjoyed this moment of peace together.
He raised both hands to your face, cupping your head as he brought your lips to his, the soft, plush feeling of your lips nearly driving him mad with desire. Your own hand finding home on his chest and shoulder as you felt weak from lack of air.
Pulling away, you made him stand up with you, his eyes showing curiosity. You smirked at him, 'Wanna go somewhere more private?' Ao'nungs silence spoke for itself as he dragged you out of the Marui, right past his parents who had a sudden look of realization.
"Oh Great Mother," Ronal sighed exasperated, "Looks like our youngest will be close in age to our grandchild," Tonowari mumbled, flinching from Ronal who began to hit him from saying such words, "skxqwng!"
no one knew how it happened- how you happened. how a human scientist and na’vi mated; it should have been impossible, but somehow they made it possible.
your mother travelled from earth to pandora to study the native species of the omaticaya clan. during her studies, one particular na’vi caught her eye, and sooner than later they developed a secret relationship and fell deeply in love.
they were inseparable- he taught her the ways of the forest and showed her how the na’vi live day to day. while your mother brought him along to collect samples of the environment around her, and he kept her safe as they explored.
the battle between the sky people and the na’vi, unfortunately ended with your father dying at the hands of your mothers colleagues. the omaticaya finally won, but when the rest of the human soldiers were sent back to earth, your mother was stuck.
she was unable to travel in cryosleep while carrying you, so she was forced to stay on pandora and live out the rest of her pregnancy on the foreign planet.
the only person who knew the identity of your father, was your mother and grace. everyone else assumed some soldier knocked up your mom, but boy, were they wrong.
when you were born, your eye shape and color of your skin resembled your mothers, but the color of your irises were a deep amber, almost glowing yellow. darkened skin-colored stripes decorate your body head to toe, and white freckles adorn your facial features.
the secret was out- you’re half na’vi, and half human.
once the clan found out the scientists child is part na’vi, they took you under their wing to teach you their ways. your mother became extremely jealous, knowing that she could never be accepted by them like you have.
at the mere age of four, your mother left the base to travel back to earth without you. leaving you under the care of norm, max, jake and the rest of the clan.
thankfully being part na’vi and human, you’re able to breathe both types of air. mo’at became your motherly figure once your mom disappeared, quickly helping you adapt to their lifestyle in the forest.
over the years, you started to realize that you were different from the other na’vi children. you’re shorter in height, aren’t as fast, and you didn’t have their azure-colored skin. but somehow, you still felt as if you were a part of them.
you became close to neytiri and jake’s kids, mostly kiri. you grew up with her and neteyam, but as you blossomed into a woman you wouldn’t dare to look him in the eyes.
fearing that he’d realize your true feelings for him if he stared into them too long.
throughout your teen years, you casually dated a few na’vi boys, but none of them were neteyam sully. nobody could compare, you couldn’t take your eyes off of him.
even now as a young adult, those old feelings can’t be choked down anymore. the same feelings you had about the eldest sully boy when you were younger.
“stop drooling.” kiri teases you under her breath as her hands work to weave a basket.
you’re knocked out of your trance, head whipping to face her. “no! i am not drooling.” you scoff and shake your head as you continue tucking leaves into the correct shape. you can feel your cheeks burning hot from her catching you staring at her older brother.
you glance up from your working hands, admiring how neteyam effortlessly spears a fish in the water that he’s standing ankle-deep in. he lets out a triumphant laugh as lo’ak hollers proudly at him from the grass.
“yeah, bro! get that fiiiiiish!” the younger boy whoops happily with his hands cupped around his mouth to amplify the sound.
the older brother turns his head to see who else could have noticed the catch, barely making eye contact with you before your eyes drop back down to your hands.
swiftly, you busy yourself with tucking the leaves into each other. your pointed ears twitch slightly when you notice the sound of rustling water growing closer.
kiri nudges your arm with her shoulder which confirms your suspicions.
he’s walking up to you. why is he walking up to you? you didn’t say anything to him. you didn’t even get a good look at him. there’s no reason for him to come over here.
from your peripheral vision, you can see his feet stop right in front of you in the glittering water. “hey guys.” he speaks softly, almost out of breath.
“hey, neteyam!” kiri quips at him, eyeing you from the corner of her eye with an evil grin.
the sound of his panting voice makes your heart  skip a beat and your abdomen constrict your breathing. you push the basket away from your nervous hands to rest them on your knees. your eyes carefully drag up the lanky expanse of his body, meeting his eyes with your own.
“oh hey, neteyam. how’s… um- the fishing going?” you hum nervously, chewing on your bottom lip out of a nervous habit.
you can’t help but notice his hands are resting on his slender hips with his infamous bright smile on his face.
“it was good. caught a few big ones…” he huffs out another strained breath. the sound makes you want to fall over, “what are you guys doing?” his eyes dart over to the trees for a split second before squatting down in front of you and kiri.
his big round eyes look over your unfinished baskets, reaching out to touch yours gently.
“hey! don’t touch. you’ll ruin it.” kiri swats at his grabby hands, making him raise his arms in surrender. “okay, okay!” he laughs.
the sound of rustling leaves distracts you from the boy in front of you, making you and kiri turn to look behind your backs. before you could even make it halfway, his hands wrap around your wrists to yank you forward.
“shit!!” you yelp before you face-plant into the chilly water, gurgling under the surface before lifting your head up, taking a sharp breath.
muffled laughter fills your ears as you sit up in the pond, pushing your soaked hair out of your face and off of your ears so you could hear.
neteyam is sitting in the pond directly in front of you, hand laying across his abdomen as he belly laughs along with lo’ak.
kiri is already climbing out of the water, grumbling under her breath and wringing out her hair. “screw you guys.” she calls back, flipping her middle finger before disappearing into the thick forest towards home.
you look back at neteyam and lo’ak who are slightly calming down between their fits of laughter. “you… should… see… your… face… right… now!” neteyam cackles, throwing his head back in the air.
“best idea, bro.” lo’ak reaches over to high five his brothers shoulder and to use him to pull himself out of the water. he grabs neteyam’s hand to help him up next, both of them still giggling.
“this was your idea?” you stare up at neteyam with squinted eyes and a scowl on your face.
the boy audibly gulps when he notices your changed demeanor, his hand going to scratch the back of his neck. “uuhh, yeah… maybe?” he clears his throat, darting his eyes away from you.
for a moment, you keep the angry facade before your arm winds back and you send your hand through the water to splash the older boy.
“woah!” neteyam blocks the water with one of his hands, a surprised smile instantly forming on his perfect lips.
he swoops down towards the water, sending a wave directly into your face. “hey!” your eyebrows furrow, quickly getting onto your knees to send another burst of water towards him.
lo’ak watches the scene unfolding in front of him, noticing that the rest of the fish swam away from the commotion. “guess we’re done fishing today.” he sighs in defeat and climbs out of the pond without either of you noticing. he follows kiri’s footsteps into the forest with the basket of fish over his shoulder.
you and neteyam continue battling it out, which ends in both of you completely soaked head to toe. “truce! truce!” you yell out in exasperation, falling back into the water.
“my stomach hurts from laughing. i can’t anymore.” you continue to giggle as neteyam helps you up from your position in the water. he slowly trails behind you as you trudge back towards land, his tall stature towers over you from behind. he reaches out to grip your hips to lift you onto the plush grass.
the feeling of his hands resting on your body makes your blood run hot, cheeks flaring with heat.
“we’re drenched. what are we going to tell everyone?” he breathes out heavily with a soft chuckle.
“we slipped and fell into the water?” you suggest and look up at him.
“we just happened to both slip and fall into the water together?” his eyebrows raise, and his cheeks puff out air in attempt to not laugh.
unfortunately, neteyam decides to look down at you which makes both of you burst into laughter again, “that idea is so stupid.” he choked out, pressing his fist to his mouth to stifle his little laughs.
“let’s go back. we can figure it out on the way.” you sputter out, hunching over slightly as you walk forward in attempt to stop your giggles.
“hey, wait!” neteyam’s voice is suddenly serious, and you can’t feel his height looming behind you anymore.
you turn around at the sound of his voice, seeing he’s still in the same spot he was standing in. “i don’t want to go back yet.” he admits, his big round eyes darting down to his feet.
you can feel your heartbeat grow faster, pattering against your chest like a jackhammer. “why not? you okay?” you take a hesitant step forward to stand underneath him, looking up in attempt to read his facial features.
by now, the sun is starting to set. the foliage around you both is slowly changing over, the white freckles in each others skin sparkling under the moonlight.
his yellow eyes shyly look into yours, a timid smile twitching up onto the corner of his lips.
“m’fine, i promise. i just want to stay here for a little longer. i don’t want to go back just yet.” he mumbles softly, a puff of his breath fans over your face from your close proximity.
you can’t help but feel giddy from his words, unable to stop yourself from reaching your hand out to rest on his waist. your thumb absentmindedly rubs circles against his soft skin, “do you mind if i stay with you?”
“do i mind?” he scoffs with a roll of his eyes, throwing his head back with an over-exaggerated sigh.
embarrassment floods your body, making your ears ring from the blood rushing through your head. out of fear he’s angry with you, your hand pulls away from him, “oh i’m sorry. i’ll go then.” you start to turn the opposite way but he grabs your hips to keep you in place.
“are you serious? you really don’t get it do you?” he almost laughs out of amusement, but you can’t help but feel even more confused.
“i want you to stay here with me. i want you.” one of his hands come up from his side, bending down slightly to carefully tuck your hair behind one of your ears.
your face stays emotionless as your eyes dart from his eyes to lips and back. “say something. anything?” he begs and shakes his head at you with an amused smile.
“‘teyam…” you breathe out, a big smile beaming across your face, hands reaching up to cup his cheeks; something you could’ve only dreamed of doing. “i can’t tell if you’re being serious.” you whisper softly in the small amount of space between your faces.
“i’m gonna kiss you now to show you how serious i am.” he looks directly into your eyes before they flutter shut and he leans forward.
the feeling of his lips on yours makes your knees go weak. neteyam sully is really kissing you right now. your arms wrap around his waist tightly to hold yourself up, which he quickly notices.
his large hands drag down your sides and over your butt to grip the back of your thighs to hoist you up to his height. your legs instinctively wrap around his waist, ankles locking against his lower back.
the new position allows him to deepen the kiss even more by gently wiggling his tongue against yours. he stumbles forward to a nearby tree, pressing your back against the trunk of it.
it’s not like he’s having trouble carrying you, you’re equivalent to a feather for him. he just wants you closer.
one of his braids falls in your face, swinging and tapping your cheek whenever your lips would connect.
“your hair…” you giggle against his lips, bringing your hand up to his face to tuck it back behind his ear.
“sorry, they have a mind of their own, ya know.” his husky voice mumbles deeply into your ear, making goosebumps rise on your skin.
your eyes flutter open to be met with the glowing forest, neon colors lighting up the vegetation around you both. you’ve been on this planet for twenty years and it still surprises you every day.
neteyam pulls back to look you in the eyes, letting you admire his face for a moment. his blue skin seems brighter under the bioluminescent foliage. especially with the gleaming freckles that paint his skin.
“ma neteyam, you’re so pretty.” your hand cups his soft cheek which he nuzzles into your palm almost instantaneously.
“no, you’re the pretty one, my girl.” he leans forward to peck your lips once more. the little nickname makes your stomach do somersaults in your belly. his tail flicks up happily against your ankle, tickling your lower leg.
neteyam takes the time to gently kiss down your neck and over your collarbone, “i want you to be mine.” he almost whimpers. his nose nuzzles against your pulse point as his lips continue litter your neck with kisses.
“will your parents approve?” your voice slightly quivers, “you’re next in line to become eytukan. i’m not a full-blood. i don’t think-.” your rambling is paused by his lips pressing against the tip of your nose.
“i don’t care what they think. plus, you know my dad likes you.” he gives you a reassuring smile, bringing one of his hands up to cup your cheek. you can’t help but take note that his palm and fingers cover the entire side of your head.
“yeah, but your mom…” you trail off, not wanting to seem rude by talking about his mother, but you know that she has a problem with humans. you’ve seen the way she looks at spider.
“look, i’m half-blood too. i don’t think my mom is going to care, plus you’ve been around our family for years. she likes you, i promise.”
“i’m not one of you. i’m different, neteyam.” you let out shakily, “i’m small and not as fast, i can’t keep up with you.” your eyes dart to the side as you chew on the skin of your lip.
“look, i know she can be tough, but i promise you, i don’t care what she thinks. since i was a teenager, i realized that i wanted you. i wasn’t brave enough to tell you that until now, but i don’t give a shit about our differences.” his hand grips your jaw with his hand, turning your face towards him so he can look into your watery eyes.
“i see you, y/n.” his doe-like eyes flicker over your face, trying to read your expression. his eyes are full of adoration and love for the girl in his arms.
your breath gets caught in your throat, “and i see you.” both of your hands slide up from his chest to rest on either side of his face, pulling him in for another kiss.
on the way up, you accidentally brush against the voice comm device on his necklace. not knowing it would activate and relay sound through his father’s, mothers, and lo’ak’s ear piece.
you both gasp into each others mouth when he ruts his hips against your center, the pressure pins your hips to the tree behind you.
“what is that sound? who has their comm on?”you hear a low muffled voice coming from somewhere.
neteyam instantly pulls away from the heated kiss, eyes wide with terror and embarrassment. your lips parting lets off a loud suction noise when he pulls away, now making it obvious what the sounds were coming from.
neteyam holds you up with one arm while he uses the other to click on a button on his necklace to turn it off, “it’s my dad.”
“it’s just neteyam sucking face.” you hear lo’aks voice come through clearly in his ear piece.
the boys head falls forward to rest on your chest, letting out the loudest over-exaggerated groan of annoyance. the puff of his hot breath against your damp skin makes a shiver shoot down your spine.
you can’t help but giggle and gently pet the top of his head in attempt to console him, “i’m never going to live this down.” he speaks against your skin, grumbling obscenities under his breath.
“neteyam! where are you, boy?” jake shouts into his ear.
he taps your thigh to signal you to release your grip from around his waist. he gently lowers you back down to the ground before answering him, “i’m here, dad. i’m here.”
you can’t help but lean your head on his elbow since that’s the only place you can reach. you grab one of his hands, bringing it to your face to examine it.
you thread your fingers through his much larger ones, squeezing his hand with your own. you almost laugh at how his hand engulfs yours.
“yeah, mmmhmm. yeah, okay. i hear you. lo’ak shut up. i got it. we’ll be there soon.” neteyam responds to whoever is talking in his ear.
“is everything okay?” you mumble quietly, peering up at him through your eyelashes.
“they want us to come back, but i think everything is okay.” he smiles down at you, pulling you into his side while still holding your hand.
neteyam leads you through the thick brush of the forest to his ikran. the banshee chirps at the sight of it’s owner, fluttering it’s wings in excitement. “hey, buddy.” neteyam hums and rubs it’s head.
he reaches around his back for his braid, bringing it forward to make bond with the animal. neteyam effortlessly mounts onto the bird, reaching a hand out for you to take.
you step forward to slide your hand into his so he could help you on and get situated. “hold on tight.” he peers down at you from behind his shoulder with a smirk before the ikran nosedives off of the tree branch.
“oooohhhhh my god!” you screech as your arms desperately flail around his waist, holding onto him as tightly as you can.
he can’t help but laugh at your scream once he levels out, now coasting through the sky through the floating mountains. one of his hands reaches back to grip your thigh to pull you even closer to him.
you hesitantly open your eyes, looking down into the glowing scenery beneath you. “beautiful, right?” his voice raises over the loud whooshing of the wind.
“i love it.” you squeeze his torso tight, snuggling your temple into the crook of his back as you coast through the air.
the ikran dips down slightly, making you gasp and tighten around his body. neteyam chuckles, his hand rests on your leg to slowly rub gentle circles into your skin to calm you.
“hold on, we’re gonna descend.” he leans forward with the ikran, plunging downwards toward the ground once again. you squeal loudly, wriggling behind him in attempt to get closer to him.
neteyam chuckles, shaking his head as he weaves and bobs between trees to make it back home. the ikran vertically swoops up into the large crevasse in the cave floor, landing on the rocky floor.
neteyam hops easily off the ikran, disconnecting tsaheylu before his hands grip your waist to lift your body up to place you on the ground next to him.
“what were you guys thinking staying out past curfew?” jake storms up to you both, obviously angry.
“i know, but i can handle myself. i know how to fight.” neteyam grumbles back, making jake even angrier with his son. if steam could shoot out of his ears at this moment, it would.
“i know that you know how to fight, son. but the rda, they could be roaming anywhere. it’s dangerous, especially putting her in that situation.” he looks down at you, then turns his attention back to his son.
before jake could lecture him even more, you decide to intervene, “i’m sorry, sir. it’s all my fault we stayed out. i persuaded him to stay… to uh- fly around,” you glance up at neteyam through the corner of your eye, “i take full responsibility.” you nod at jake, gulping down your nervousness.
jake sighs as he rubs his temples with one of his hands, “so then what’s the reason why both of you are soaked?” he points out, making you instantly freeze from not knowing what to say.
neteyam’s hand comes up to rest on your shoulder, “to be honest, we were wrestling in the water.”
your eyes blow wide from his words, turning to him to stare daggers into the side of his face.
“wrestling… in the water?” jake almost laughs, “look i didn’t need to know that much. you couldn’t come up with a better excuse than that?”
“oh shit.” neteyam whispers under his breath, “no, dad, it’s not like that at all. i meant… we were just splashing each other after fishing. it wasn’t anything like that.”
“look, you two just be safe and keep it on the down-low. and next time, please take off your comm, ‘kay?” jake lowers his voice before shaking his head in disbelief and turning on his heel to head back.
“so he thinks we had sex then, huh?” you breathe out defeat, looking up at neteyam. the boy lets out a huff of air as he watches his father walk away, “yeah i guess so.” his voice has a slight tinge of humor to it.
the hand resting on your shoulder pulls you into his side with a little chuckle. he starts walking with you toward the pod where the scientists sleep.
he follows you up the steps to the door, pausing a few steps down before you could open it. his face now parallel to yours since you’re higher on the stairs.
you smile down at him, reaching out to gently pinch his chin to pull his face forward. you press your lips against his softly, as if he was a delicate flower petal. “i had fun tonight.” you mumble with a smile against his lips before pulling back.
neteyam presses forward to chase your lips with his, trying to breathe in as much of you as he could. “don’t wanna let you go yet… wanna kiss you more.” he desperately pulls you forward to kiss you again, sucking in a sharp breath.
your arms lazily drape over his shoulders to kiss him slowly, and tantalizingly. he sucks your bottom lip between his teeth, gently nibbling the skin before making his way down to nuzzle into the crook of your neck.
“gotta go to bed before my mother has me by my throat.” his words make you laugh as you twirl one of his braids between your fingers.
“tomorrow i wanna take you somewhere. will you let me?” he pulls back with a smile, thumb rubbing the skin of your outer thigh.
“of course, i would love to. but where though?” you question with your fingers still busy messing with his hair.
“it’s a surprise.” he hums playfully making your eyebrows furrow from curiosity of where it could be.
“i love surprises.” you grin, leaning forward to peck his lips once more before attempting to completely pull away. neteyam groans from the warmth of your body leaving him, his arms wrap around your legs to keep you in place.
“don’t leaaaaave.” he whines, resting his chin on your chest to look up at you.
“i need to shower and clean up before bed. plus your mother is going to have your throat, ya know.” you poke his little pink nose, making his face scrunch up cutely.
“you’re right, you’re right.” he grumbles sadly, patting your outer thigh before he completely pulls back and stands up straight. he leans forward to swiftly peck your lips, “just needed one more, m’sorry. i’ll see you tomorrow.” he turns around to climb down the rest of the steps.
“goodnight, neteyam!” you shout at him as you unlatch the metal door.
he turns around at the sound of your voice, “goodnight.” he whisper-yells back at you as he slowly walks backwards to watch you slip inside.
neteyam’s smile on his face doesn’t falter, not even for one second. the only thing on his mind is you. he never would have imagined that his day would have ended like this. confessing his feelings to you, and kissing you goodnight. it’s almost as if he’s living through a fantasy his younger self dreamed of.
the excitement of you makes him toss and turn throughout the night; it makes him nervous, knowing that he is already head over heels for you and in too deep- but all he can worry about now, is seeing you tomorrow.
GOT ME KICKING MY FEET AND WANTING A WHOLE 3 SEASON 23 EPISODE SERIES
b.katsuki + lava Quirk!wife (both Pro Heroes)
☆—a.n; i woke up today feeling feisty lol not really xd just wanted some "i'm crazy as you are" type of love today lmao✌🏼🖤
B.katsuki + Lava Quirk!wife (both Pro Heroes)
Bakugou Katsuki is obsessed with you.
And he doesn't even try to hide it.
You're his sidekick. You had trained in his Agency since you were a mere brat doing your internship your first year at UA. Of course, there were literally counted the times you had encountered him in person. The other Heroes that joined his Agency were the ones in charge of the kids. They had told you how Dynamight hated when babysitting time came every year, he wouldn't even participate in those actually. So they would advice to not cross his path.
From time to time, Dynamight would watch their sparrings sessions, gave them a bit of advice–more like mean criticism yell at them. But he had better things to do, people to save, villains to get their asses destroyed by him. He was not going to waste his time with annoying brats like you.
He had heard of you, of course. The one brat that could control and handle freaking lava like it was fucking nothing. Of course when he saw you, he thought his sidekick had pulled a prank on him, joking to see if would be excited about the idea of having someone with that type of Quirk in his Agency. You couldn't be the one with the lava quirk. You looked... normal. Quirkless even–if this were other times and if he would judge people about it. He had changed, okay? Thank you very fucking much. But he did think it was impossible that you were that amazing brat the other heroes were talking about. They had even compared you to him, in witty and determination to become the number one Pro Hero on the ranks, in strength and no mercy against villains, or other heroes and classmates.
When he stood right in front of you one day, towering almost three heads over you and almost one more person's size to the side, Dynamight laughed. You looked like a little bunny caught red-handed, terrified by everyone around you–especially by the size of him–and skittish, almost like what Deku had been as a kid.
That should have been a first warning for Bakugou–never judge a book by its cover.
You have trained in his Agency the three years you had been in UA, and he has never once seen you nor your Quirk on display, nevertheless in real action. He had only heard how good you were in trainings from the other heroes. But he didn't care enough to actually sought-after. He was already fighting Deku for the number one spot on the rankings, he didn't have time for brats like you.
Until one day, a dangerous villain, that created enormous monsters of metal almost to the size of a ten flour building, was causing too much disaster appeared. It was more than chaos, it had been a destruction like no other.
Dynamight nor Deku could contain the motherfucker.
He was bruised, his hands beat with agony at the amount of times he had used his blasts and the push to keep going, his body muscles were screaming for him to stop. A quick glance to his side where Deku was, and the guy wasn't better than him, breathing like his lungs couldn’t no more. Every other hero in the scene was in the same shape.
They were fucking losing.
And then, like an angel sent from heaven–or better said, a demon sent from the deepest hell for the way you fucking looked, you appeared in all your majestic glory, lava making you slide in between them, surrounding you like it was nothing, like strings coming from inside your body, and began a new fight with that fucking villain's monsters.
Bakugou saw –an enamored expression on his face– how you your whole demeanor changed, your skin, your eyes, everything in you became so menacingly, so evil looking, so freaking scary, that if you weren't training to be a Hero, he thought you would be one the most terrifying villains of all times –even more than that piece of shit AFO.
The lava was visible in all your body, and you fought, a crazed smile and eyes opened wide, enjoying the damage you were doing to the metal monsters; your joy was shining bright for everyone to see, as you yelled, "DIE, YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!" as the monster melted under your hands and body.
He was captivated, fucking spellbound, by the sight in front of him. He fell to his knees, watching you melt every single one of the monster in one more movement of your hand, as lava flowed towards them, capturing and melting them as you stand straight, the expression on your face serious and deadly. You then walked towards the source, the main villain who was creating this chaos, and the guy literally fell to the floor in fear, trying to crawl away from you in tears. When you stood before him, you crouched to his level, and smiled devilishly.
The villain pissed his pants.
And Bakugou's cock twitched.
He then murmured, "I'm gonna marry the shit out that woman."
Deku chuckled, shaking his head and letting his body fall to ground in tiredness. Everything was okay now.
From then on, you were by Dynamight's side all the time. The second you graduated –Bakugou Katsuki of fucking course attended the graduation ceremony– he offered a job on his Agency for you. And you said yes, even though you had options like Deku's Agency, or Hawk's, and even Endeavor had offered you a big place on his, trying to win you by saying that most of his sidekicks were fire-like Quirks and that his mother had a Quirk similar to yours, he could ask her for advice for you. Bakugou's stomach turned thinking he might had won you over that. But before he could finish the sentence, "Would you like a spot on my Ag–", you exclaimed a big YES, smiling warmly and eyes shining in excitement.
He had to clear his throat and look away at your expression, making something tingle in his chest. Was that his heart?
You became his partner then, in missions, in interviews, in meetings with other Agencies when some big villain appeared and they had to join forces. You were always there, not behind him but next to him.
In interviews he would always let you speak about how everything went and thank every body who helped. But Katsuki would look at you. Look as the lava started to dissipate from your skin, slowly turning down the temperature and going back to your normal color. Your hair that became liquid lava slowly became the color of greyish-black rock and then smoothed its way to your normal texture and color. He always felt mesmerized watching the process, and he would look at it any opportunity he got.
It wasn't until one night out with his old friends that Pikachu said, "Dude, tone down your thirst a lil' bit," in between laughs with Raccoon Eyes and Shitty Hair.
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
Kirishima patted his back, shaking his head, "Your sidekick, man. The lava girl?"
"What?"
"What we are trying to say," Mina smirked, "is that everytime you look at her, its almost palpable the way you want to eat her."
Bakugou gulped. "Shut the fuck up. I don't look at her like that."
Mina winked at him, "If you say so..."
That night he searched on the internet in his phone for interviews, desperately. Fuck, his friends were right. He did look at you with a fascination and hunger he had never saw himself do. He remembered thinking about marrying you back in the days, but that had been the heat of the moment, right? This annoyed the shit out of him. But watching you again in those videos, as you smiled so kindly to the reporters or other Hero friends or to even civilians while looking so freaking scary when your Quirk was activated, made something stir inside his belly.
Fuck, you're gorgeous. You're everything he didn't know he wanted.
And that's when he decided he would not hide his feelings for you anymore.
So now, a few years after, when you are married to number two Pro Hero Dynamight, people always talk about how your husband always looks at you. How he always encourages you in your fights to "kill those fucking piece of shits, baby!!" as he is very close to you fighting his own set of shitty villains and you encourage him saying "show them who is the number two hero, love!" He looses it then, a blast that ends it all.
They talk about how he would always kiss you after a fight, even after all that adrenaline that makes him want to bury himself deep inside your warmth, he only holds your face gently, gloved thumbs caressing your cheeks lovingly, eyes locked onto each other like the world doesn't exist outside that moment, and he kisses you softly, a simple touch, a cute press of lips that lasts a millisecond so he doesn't burn the skin of his face and lips. And then he pulls one of your hands with his up in victory.
He didn't only win the battles, he won you each and every time he got to simply look at you, be next to you, kiss you.
He is obsessed with you, and he doesn't want to fucking hide it from the world.
Stoop I am a sucker for the misunderstanding trope. "You heard what you did but it wasn't what it was" STAB MY HEART AND TAKE MY MONEY.
Hey there! I’ve been reading some of your five and I was wondering-
Could you maybe write a fic about Neteyam falling in love with a Metkayina girl- thinking she’s beautiful but doesn’t know how to say it to her so he asks Tsireya and y/n overhears and misunderstands, thinking he’s in love with Tsireya instead of her :)
I love your writing by the way- so much 💙
Misunderstood
Hey There! I’ve Been Reading Some Of Your Five And I Was Wondering-
summary: neteyam asks for advice from tsireya to confess to you, however, you misunderstand thinking he loves tsireya
2k words, fem!metkayinareader
──── ⑅*❀*⑅ ────
Three months. It truly didn’t feel like you had known Neteyam for three short months. It felt like you had known him for eternity. Like souls reconnecting in the ever-continuing circle of life. You felt at peace being with him, his presence was grounding, his words were hymns and his beauty was breathtaking.
The first time you felt this connection towards him was in the first couple weeks of knowing Neteyam. You were both swimming in the crystal water, watching the passing aquatic life. His eyes were wide full of amazement, it was endearing to see someone so enthralled in something you knew as normal.
It was when you looked away for a moment to go and interact with a school of small glowing fish that called your name. You let them swim around you some of the fish even swimming towards your face to give what most resembled a kiss on the cheek. Letting out small giggles you told the fish to move onto their next step on their ever long journey of the sea, and you spotted him.
You spotted him gazing into you, his eyes soft and his mouth in a small smile as he just observed you. Your cheeks immediately heated up, so you immediately broke eye contact with Neteyam to swim to the surface of the water, to regain a little composure. That was the day your eye was forever set on Neteyam Sully.
Unbeknownst to your own mind, it was also the day where Neteyam’s eyes were set on you, both figuratively and literally. He was itching to tell you how he felt. His body, his mind, his heart ached when you weren’t in his presence. Even a glimpse of you was enough for him to feel content, he needed you and he craved you.
He thought it was best to ask the girl who knew you the most for advice. Tsireya. Your best friend since childhood, inseparable, always attached by the hip. Who else would he ask in a time like this. If he was gong to confess to you, he was going to do it right.
That’s how he ended up here. Sitting across from Tsireya sitting on a rocky ledge a short walk from the village, blindly blurting his feelings towards you in an affectionate word storm to a amused Tsireya.
“My you do really like Y/N.” She laughed at his face. Sort of similar to a ‘nuh duh’ expression mixed into a ‘I’m on my knees please help me’. It was incredibly amusing for her to watch, especially since she knew about how much you fancied him. “You should just tell her! I promise it will not go sour.” She put a friendly hand on his shoulder patting it in a comforting way.
“But that’s the problem, I have no idea what to say. There’s no possible way that I could ever be cohesive enough to truly tell Y/N how I feel.” Tsireya clapped her hands together, an idea hitting her.
“Close your eyes, and pretend I am Y/N. Try and think of every word carefully and imagine saying it to her.” Neteyam nodded sucking in a deep breath, closing his eyes.
You were on a stroll down the beach, something you made habit since you were young. The evening sky always made you aw. It was a lovely sight to see.
Your focus on the setting sky was drawn away abruptly when you saw two figures sitting on a ledge together. Two familiar figures, Tsireya and Neteyam.
You tried to push down the slight feeling of jealousy crawling up your throat. It was Tsireya, you have nothing to be jealous of.
Walking towards them close enough to hear their conversation. You wish you didn’t investigate, you wish that you weren’t so curious, you should’ve stayed out of it.
“You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever come across… you make my heart flutter when your around and ache when you’re not in front of me. Your hair, your eyes, your smile they’re all just so beautiful. I can’t go another minute without you by my side.”
His voice rung through your head, like a sickening thought that you try to shake away. The pain in your heart spread throughout your body debilitating you or your mind at least. Lips quivering, hands shaking you couldn’t believe this.
Did you mean nothing to him? Was every glance, every word, every touch not worth a thing to him? Gutted, stabbed in the heart as the blade was pushed deeper and deeper into you. You had to escape, you had to leave. You could never look at him again, never talk, never speak to him. Ever.
Heavy breaths and teary eyes. A permanent frown and small sobs. That was all you were right now. You felt hopeless, useless. No. you felt used, lied to.
How could he be so fake, was he always plotting to use your heart like a toy or was he blind to his actions. Blind to the way you looked at him. Blind to the way you touched him. Blind to the way you loved him. The way you fucking loved him.
Livid. Angry. Outraged.
Upset. Depressed. Hurt.
The cycle continued that entire night. How could you sleep? Your mind was cruel to not let go of the way his confession sounded. Sobs wracked through your ribs. Tears stained your face. You wanted nothing more than to escape the thought of him. But how could you do that? You loved him.
Waking up the next day was torturous, the sun pierced your eyes as your head throbbed in pain. You had to avoid him at all costs. You would never talk to him again. You didn’t care if you were his friend, he was your love and quite frankly you didn’t want to look him in his deceitful eyes. Ever. Again.
Your absence took an immediate toll on Neteyam. He noticed your absence like you’d notice a fish in a desert. He wondered what you were busy doing all day long. Not even spotting you once throughout the day.
He wasn’t too worried though, he knew Tsireya, and the rest of his siblings were meant to have another swimming lesson today, and you always tagged along. Neteyam tried to knock the worried feelings out of his chest, you must just be busy.
However, you were anything but busy. You laid in your hammock all day, barely moving a muscle. Depression? Maybe that’s what it was, but it wasn’t. It was heartbreak. Heartbreak so painful it was as if your heart was a fresh wound, bleeding out, begging for assistance.
You knew you were meant to go to a lesson with Tsireya today. But she could handle it, I mean she had been handling Neteyam’s feelings all by herself so why shouldn’t she be able to teach the stupid lanky boy to swim. Just more reason for him to talk to her.
Even thinking about the two together made you tear up. How pathetic you felt, moping in a hammock over a stupid forest boy. You felt stupid. No. You knew you were stupid. Thinking that Neteyam could ever like you with a beauty like Tsireya by your side constantly. You were idiotic to think that anyone would look your way.
The moment the lesson started without you Neteyam’s heart pounded. Where were you? His mind raced with concern, worry lacing his features as he frowned barely able to compute the instructions Tsireya and Ao’nung were giving him.
“Guys, where’s Y/N?” Neteyam asked his eyes scanning the shore constantly to check if you were just late.
“I saw her in her hammock today while walking back home. I don’t think she’s really moved since.” Ao’nung shrugged watching Neteyam’s concern growing stronger.
Was something troubling you? Were you sick? Why didn’t you confide in him?
“Did you speak to her?” His voice sharp and laced with fear. He needed to see you, he needed to check on you.
“I tried … asked her if she was alright and she grumbled at me and told me to fuck off. She’s in a really pleasant mood today.” Ao’nung joked at the end but before anyone could even chuckle at his joke, Neteyam was sprinting towards where you resided.
Neteyam was worried, he was so incredibly worried. What plagued you so much that you couldn’t even bare to get up all day.
You swung side to side, your headache and hunger forming together to create a nauseous feeling that you couldn’t even be bothered to remedy. That’s when your nauseous feeling became overwhelming and only because you saw a panicking Neteyam stride towards you at an alarmingly fast pace.
If you weren’t motivated to move before, now you were. You hopped off your hammock making eye contact with Neteyam. You wished you could of walked just slightly fast but the fatigue of moping around doing nothing really hit you.
“Y/N! Wait!” He shouted just a couple strides away from you but you didn’t want to face him, you couldn’t even get out a word because you were scared your voice would turn into a angry fit of sobs.
You walked so fast that if you sped up more it would be considered a jog. “Stop walking away from me!” He shouted catching up to you. Wrapping his nimble fingers around your wrist. You stopped dead in your tracks refusing to look at the man holding you.
“Go away. I don’t want to see you.”
The venom in your tone may have smashed Neteyam’s heart just then. Millions of splinters of his heart cascading across the floor.
“What’s wrong Y/N? What’s upset you so much?” A scoff erupted from your throat, a scoff making Neteyam wince at the way your face hardened into an unforgiving stare.
“I’m not sure Neteyam.”
 He hated how you said his name with such anger, he didn’t want to make you angry.
“For some crazy reason I have this monologue stuck in the depths of my mind… it goes something along the lines of. ‘You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever come across.’ ‘You make my heart flutter when your around and ache when you’re not in front of me.’ Does it sound familiar to you Neteyam? Because I’m sure Tsireya would recognise it.”
His mind suddenly pieced together. You thought those words were meant for Tsireya. You thought he confessed to your best friend. You thought that he didn’t love you.
“No Y/N please listen.”
“I don’t want to talk to you. The sight of you makes me want to cry.”
“But Y/N please you have to understand.” He held onto your hands desperately. Eyes filling with water as he looked down at your quivering lips. He’d really fucked this one up.
“Understand what Neteyam. Understand that you never liked me?”
“No, I never liked you.”
You couldn’t hold back the tears that ran down your face. You didn’t exact want confirmation that he didn’t like you. The feeling of betrayal seemed to rack in your chest quickly, and stronger than ever.
“Y/N… I love you. I love you so much. I see you.” His hands moved from your hands to wipe the tears off your swollen face. The guilt of making you cry bubbled in his ribs making his eyes start to run as well.
“But you said-”
“Tsireya was giving me advice on how to confess to you. I wanted it to be perfect, I wanted to kiss you as eclipse started and wake up the next morning knowing you were mine and I was yours. But it doesn’t seem to be going in that direction.” Neteyam listened to the small sniffles you let out as your face contorted into a soft smile.
“I see you.” Three simple words. Simple words that conveyed the monsoon of emotions you had faced in the past couple days.
Three simple words that let Neteyam have the courage to kiss you. To kiss you so softly that every ounce of love he had for you poured into you.
While it wasn’t the perfect confession Neteyam was planning, he still got what he wanted, what he needed.
And all he needed was you.
Until The End
Katsuki Bakugou x F!Reader
Warning: Angst, characrer death, dark themes talked about, hurt, fluff *more at the end*,
Summary: How do you move on when your childhood love has left you behind, with your one year old child too.
Until The End
How long had it been? A day? A week? Time had seemed to slip by at different speeds ever since that night.
It seemed like any other day where you kissed Katsuki goodbye on his way out the door, your son Katsu giggling as he waved bye-bye to his father, "Bye-bye!" He cheered, Katsuki smirking and placing a kiss on his sons forehead, "Look after your Mama for me little man, Papa will be back tonight," you could only laugh and wish him luck and to be safe out on patrol, "I will, don't worry, I'll be back tonight and we can talk about how we're gonna take the little bud to our special place, that sound good, huh Blossom?" You beamed and nodded, leaning up for one last kiss goodbye. Katsuki turned and walked down the stairs to his car, though he couldn't help but turn and look at you two one last time, an actual smiling rising to his face. He waved once more before getting in and driving away in his car, honking a final goodbye like he did every morning.
Yet things would never be like every morning again.
Katsuki normally came home around 5PM, so you knew somthing was wrong when it had reached 7PM and you hadn't received a phone call, even a text letting you know he was running late or had stopped somewhere on the way home. Of course, God hears prayers and your phone began to ring as you picked it up, seeing Kirishimas contact number. "Hey Kiri! Is everything okay?""(Y-Y/n)" he choked out, this causing you to stand alert and question him again, "what's wrong? What happened?" Kirishimas voice shook as he tried to find the courage and strength to continue, "B-bakubro..h-hes in very rough shape, they don't know if he's gonna..gonna.." he couldn't finish the sentence, his voice breaking again as he found it hard to continue without sobbing. You could only hear your ears ring as the phone slipped out of your hand and landed with a BANG on the tiled floor. Scrambling to pick up the phone it all seemed to happen in a flash and you demanded to know where he was as you grabbed Katsu and your shoes, running out the door.
You could barely remember getting to the hospital. Barely remembering the train ride there as you held Katsu close to you. A silent prayer for your husband to be okay. You could barely remember begging to see your husband, needing to see him. Katsu crying from the over stimulation of the noise and action going on around him and you doing the same as the Drs informed you they did all they could.
"His injuries were too severe, I'm so sorry,"
Silence and ringing flooded your ears as you dropped to the floor, a pain taking over your chest as your held Katsu to you. A nurse kneeling beside you to pat your back wasn't even acknowledged as you screamed for Katsuki. Fellow Pro Heros stood off to the side, classmates and friends, all with tears of their own.
Katsuki had been the one to run back into a Villain attack to save a child. A child a little older than Katsu, whose Mother had been separated from her in the first Villain attack that blew up a street corner. Katsuki had been a true Hero to the end. Risking his life for others, and now his life had come to an end.
Kirishima and Midoriya came over to console you, yet they knew nothing they said could help the pain and devastation you felt inside. Your husband, your childhood sweet heart was gone. Ripped from you and your child forever. Tears flowed down your face from your red rimmed (E/c) eyes as you bent over, gagging and sobbing, your body literally sick and hurt from the news.
You don't remeber leaving, you don't remember getting home to meet Mitsuki and Masaru there. You don't remeber the four of you embracing as you shed tears together. The only thing you could remember was how empty your heart seemed from that point on.
~~
"Papa"
It seemed to be Katsu's new favorite word, before he never really seemed to talk but ever since Katsuki, he'd been growing more and more. His words expanding more each day but yet he still chose 'Papa' and would always seem to stare at the pictures of him on the wall. The pictures you couldn't bare to look at, yet you couldn't find it in you to take down.
You stared at your bundle of joy who sat on his baby blanket in the living room, yourself seated on the couch. It was an early Saturday morning, almost two months after Katsuki had been ripped from your lives. His presence seemed to slowly leave the house too, though it was also because you couldn't being yourself to remember him much, the pain so crushing that you'd start crying all over again. Grieving was painful and sometimes you just didn't acknowledge it, holding onto the hope that Katsuki would somehow walk through the door.
Observing your child, sorrow filled your heart as you clenched your chest tightly with your fist. His hair was the same spiky blonde of his father's, his eyes the sharp vermillion, only they seemed more round and gentle like yours. At least. That's what Katsuki would say and he would boast on how his son was a looker but bad your charms. Those love and warmth filled days seemed so far in the past, but had it really only been a few months ago?
A knock broke you out of your depressive thoughts as you sighed, standing up from the couch and brushing your hands through your messed up (H/c) locks to seem more presentable. Opening the door your came face to face with your Mother-In-Law who smiled and in her hands she held a medium sized box. "Hi Honey, how're you today?" Mizuki had made it her mission to come around every other day to check on you. Even though she'd lost a son, she knew this was hard on you as well. Losing a best friend, a lover, a husband and the father to your child.
You forced a smile and invited her in, "I'm doing fine,"you couldn't fool her, but she hoped what she'd brought you would help the process of healing and acceptance. "I found some old things, I thought you'd wanna see,"
Having taken a seat on your couch, Katsu yelled in excitement, standing up on wobbly legs to toddle over to his Grandma who scooped him up and hugged him, and she couldn't help but imagine she was hugging her Katsuki again.
Opening the box, you were taken back as you stared at old photographs. Ones taken of you and Katsuki, even your old friends. Tears pricked your eyes as you reached out a shaky hand and picked one up. It was a quick snapshot of you and Katsuki, both dressed in your U.A uniforms on the first day of school.
"Oh look how precious you are! Come on Katsuki smile for once dammit!" Mizuki scolded, wanting him to at least pretend to be happy. You laughed at his expression as he yelled to his mother in annoyance, "Damn Hag! We're gonna be late of you don't knock your shit off!" Taking a hold of his arm, you wrapped yours around him and smiled to Mizuki, who took a picture as Katsukis face turned bright red and he looked elsewhere but the camera, embarrassed you'd been so close. Looking up at him with your big, (e/c) eyes, you squeezed his arm and he looked to you, the pink flush still apparent on his face. "Yeah yeah, whatever Blossom," he grumbled, but moved his arm to put it around your shoulders as his mom took another picture, this one of you both actually looking happily at eachother.
You put your hand up to your mouth to quiet your sobs, but Mizuki just smiled and rested a hand ontop of yours that held the picture shakingly. "Its hard to forget someone who left so many memories, but he'd want you to embrace what you had together, what you still have together," Mizuki brought you in for a hug as you cried, Katsu not knowing what was going on, yet he sensed you needed comfort so he climbed into your lap, wrapping his arms around you and squeezed, your arms coming around him as you hugged him back.
~
When Mizuki had gone, you sat back down at the table where the photographs were and laying them out in front of you and Katsu, you could only smile in as you riminisced how much love you and Katsuki had shared in the time you had together.
"Oi! Let's go dammit, I ain't got all fucking day Blossom," Katsuki called out to you as he entered your classroom. Your classmates however could only look in shock as you bounced from your seat, rushing over to him as he turned and began to walk out the door. "We're having lunch outside, I don't feel like being around all the stupid extras from class," "Aww but isn't Midoriya in your class? Maybe we should invite him!" "NO WAY IN HELL! THAT DAMN DEKU CAN DROWN IN HIS OWN PISS FOR ALL I CARE AND DONT TALK ABOUT HIM," It always amused you how easy it was to get him riled up, his hands popping with small explosions as he rounded on you, though you knew he'd never hurt you. Giggling you took a picture of him in his angry mode as you held up a peace sign, his expression blowing up more once he realized what you were doing. Of course, he'd never admit that seeing you happy made him happy. Not now at least.
"Your Papa always treated me so nice, I hope you'll treat your someone the same way," you softened your expression to Katsu who looked at the picture with large eyes full of wonder, "Papa," he mumbled, reaching a hand out to the picture as if he could really feel his Father.
This made your lips quiver with another round of tears, emotion flooding to you like when you'd first told Katsuki about Katsu.
You sat nervously in your house, Katsuki was due home anytime now. You guys had only been married a few months, only two years out of high school as you wanted some time before marriage to focus on your careers a little more. Yet by 20 and 21 years old Katsuki couldn't take it anymore and proposed, confessing on how he'd wanted to do this since the last year of high school and how he wanted to grow old with you, like how you'd been growing together since childhood.
Yet here you stood, just having turned 21 and pregnant, and Katsuki never really spoke about children, you two seemed to have been content with eachother that who knows what a baby could bring into the mix. "Hey I'm home," his voice called out as you froze, it was now or never. Turning to him, he could tell right away somthing was wrong, "What's-" "IM PREGNANT" You screeched at him, face bright red as he just stared at you, vermillion eyes shot wide and his mouth dropped open. His bag that was slung around his shoulder also fell to the floor, it's THUD being the only noise heard for a good minute. Of course Katsuki broke out of it with a large grin, whooping as he dashed over to you and picked you up. Spinning around he screaming in happiness, "HELL YEAH! IM GONNA FUCKING BE A DAD!" You cheered too as he set you down, tears forming in his eyes as he pressed his hand to your stomach, his forehead resting against your own as you smiled to each other. "Thank you," was all he said before kissing you.
You ran your fingers through Katsu's hair, now feeling a blazing warmth fill you as you looked back on all the amazing memories with him. An idea struck you though which made you smile softly, picking up your small budding boy and carrying him upstairs. There was something you wanted to share with Katsu, and tomorrow would be the day to do it.
~
Dawning a light pink sundress that happened to be one of Katsuki'a favorites on you, you dressed Katsu in a matching pink shirt and a pair of tan shorts. Heading out of the house, you took a quick train ride over to a park. The warm Spring day enveloping you as you walked with Katsu down the sidewalk, his small eyes taking in everything he could.
Settling down on an old wooden bench, the white paint faded from the few years of weather damage, you turned toward Katsu and motioned to the area. "This is where Mama met Papa," of course him being 1 and a half he didn't quite understand, but yet he looked at the flowers that surrounded you, noticing a particular one, "Mama" and reached out the special orange flower that had caught his eye, when a small, yellowish butterfly landed on it.
Your eyes widened in surprise as you took notice of the small creature. Butterflies had always been your favorite, as your quirk revolved around plants and flowers, Butterflies naturally came as a favorite for their beautiful wings.
Katsuki when learning this had said he'd wanna be a Butterfly just so he could be around your flowers all day, and be with you always. A look of fondness crossed your face as you reached out to the butterfly, it's wings beating twice as it flew onto your finger and you brought it slowly over to Katsu who grinned, his cheeks lighting up pink as he squealed, "Papa!," and you could only nod and close your eyes for a moment as you imagined Katsuki, relishing in the moments you'd had together.
"Hey, what's your problem?" A boyish voice had broken through your quiet sobs, you turning toward the voice to see a young boy with spiky blonde hair and red eyes staring at you confused, though his cheeks flushed a light pink when your glossy (e/c) eyes met his. "I-I was just growing m-my flowers when some m-mean b-boys ruined them," you choked out, motioning to the ruined orange flowers that sat beside you, their petals all torn and missing, the stems mangled from behind yanked apart. Katsuki wasn't sure how to handle this, usually if someone was crying he'd just ignore them or tell them to suck it up. Yet with you he actually wanted to make you feel better, he just wasn't sure on how to go about that in this moment.
Katsuki looked around and found an orange flower, seemingly matching the ones you had next to you, causing him to he pick a few and brought it over to you, where you still sat sniffling a little. He held his hand out and presented them to you, his cheeks a darker red when your eyes widened in surprise before a smile took over your chubby face, "Cosmos? What are these for?"You questioned, taking them from his hands and as your fingers brushed against eachother he shivered and turned away with a pout, "I just want you to stop crying, you look ugly when you cry," he winced when he realized what he did and had said, but he looked back in surprise when you giggled, standing up to face him properly, "My name is (L/n) (Y/n), do you wanna be friends?" You held your hand out to him, and he could only smirk and nod, introducing himself, "The name is Bakugou Katsuki, I'm gonna be the Number 1 Hero one day," you laughed, taking his hand and running off to the playground, your moms taking a quick picture of the interaction from afar.
You felt a sense of relief flood through you, your arm around Katsu as he laughed watching the Butterfly leave, some more joining it in the sky. You kissed his head and looked up to the setting sun, the wind caressing both of you under the orangeish pink sky. "We'll be okay," you mumbled, feeling a lingering touch on your head.
"Yeah, we'll be okay,"
Arrangements
Pairing: Katsuki Bakugo x f!Reader
Warnings: SMUT. Minors DNI. TW: Cheating, Loveless Relationship, Verbal Abuse, Emotional Manipulation, Toxic Parents
Contains: Arrangement relationships, Dom/Sub dynamics, nicknames/pet names (Princess, Sir, Dummy -but in a loving way-), Oral (F Receiving), Begging, Rough-ish Sex, Some Spanks, Instructed Masturbation, Bakugo gets possessive...
Summary: Bakugo finds out your parents set you up in a quirk arrangement with Monoma of all people. Not long after, you and Bakugo enter a bit of an arrangement too, of the more fun variety. Things start up in your final year at UA but graduation doesn't put an end to things for you two.
WC: 4,837
A/N: This is basically smut with some plot to it. A vague sort of idea that I'm considering making into something more but I also could just let it end here. It's been in my head for quite some time and I needed it out lol. Characters start off at 18 and are 23 by the end of this piece.
The idea of dating and relationships ever appealed to Katsuki Bakugo. Even in high school, he considered it all to be a distraction, something that took focus away from his main goal in life of being the number one hero. It was never that he couldn't date, it was simply he didn't want to.
And then there was you. Because you were different. Because he couldn't actually have you.
In the exact same classes for three years, sitting just a row away from him, you seemed like just another ordinary student, that's what he thought at least. You had a strong quirk that you had very good control over and were good with course work too. It wasn't until third year that his impression changed.
You'd become friends with Kirishima, close friends, to the point whispers started about the two of you being a thing. But, Bakugo was never one for rumors, he paid them no mind. What did piss him off was what he heard after class one fall afternoon.
"You're not better than me, never forget that, Y/N." It was Monoma, "Don't bother getting close with anyone in that damn class, not that rock for brains idiot especially. It'll be bad for our image." Bakugo stayed hidden but he heard the shuffling of fabric and you gasp. "You're mine, remember that."
Another shuffle before a single set of footsteps casually went off down the hall.
He shouldn't have care, he didn't really know why he did. But, you're mine, what did that even mean? Were you dating him? You acted like you despised Monoma just as much of the rest of the class did...
Then Bakugo heard it, just a single sob. Only one. He'd never heard you cry before, hadn't seen it either and you'd been through a lot, your entire class had.
He rounded the corner without thinking about it and you hadn't even noticed him. Head hung low, your shirt had come untucked from your skirt and the collar was rumbled.
It might have been a slow process but, Bakugo had grown a bit in the last three years. Enough that he offered you a hand, "Come on." You looked up at him with startled eyes, "Don't think you wanna have a break down in the hallway. So come on."
You took up your bag and grabbed his hand, letting him lead you into an empty classroom. "The fuck was that about?"
"N-no one at school knows... 'Sept Kiri does."
Bakugo was a little surprised the redhead was able to keep a secret like this, especially from him. "That you're dating that pretentious jack ass?"
"'S not that exactly."
"Then what is it exactly?"
Your hands strangled the strap of your bag, unable to make eye contact with him. The fuck was goin' on? You were usually so confident, lighthearted, this wasn't anything like you.
He grabbed your hands. "Talk, Y/N. If he's forcin' you into something I'll blow his ass to pieces-"
"No, you've got it sorta wrong. It's not Monoma. It-it's our families. We're in a quirk arrangement. We're supposed to be married, you know, all that stuff..."
"What are you, a damn princess?" A quirk marriage? Those were still a thing? How fucking archaic. Todoroki was the product of one but he didn't actually think people still used them.
"Very funny. Monoma, he just, he wants our image to be spotless. Completely perfect. And that means nothing can be assumed about either one of us being with anyone prior to our own time. We aren't expected to marry until we're 25, thankfully." You let out a bit of a chuckle. "If he found out I was in here alone with you though, ha, he'd have a fit! Our families probably would too."
"So, you're not supposed to be involved with anyone? Either of you?" He had to clarify and sure enough, you nodded your head. "Tsk, he probably shouldn't have been makin out with fuckin' horns then."
You choked. "A-Ashido?"
"Wha? Fuck no! And not shitty hair either! I mean the one in class B!"
He watched to color slowly drain from your face. "How do you know?"
"Saw 'em myself. Probably shouldn't try to fuck in the locker room if he wants to not be caught."
Damn. You looked like you were about to pass out. Maybe he should have told you when you had a chair to fall into. But, as quickly as it had come, it passed. You were, holy shit, you were hugging him!
"Thank you! Bakugo, you have no idea how great this is! Thank you! I might be able to get out of this now!"
There was no time for him to even react before you were pulling away and running out the door.
>>><<<
The noose around your neck, the same one that had been there since were ten years old, tightened ever more on the train ride back from your parents.
You begged them to listen. Begged them to take Monoma's actions more seriously but they didn't care. It wasn't you that messed up. It wasn't their daughter out sleeping around. You had to be loyal. You had to be perfect.
And you were so done with being perfect.
But you couldn't leave the arrangement either. They made it clear that if you did, they'd just simply promise your little sister off to Monoma's brother instead and there was no way in hell you were pushing this on your sweet baby sister.
>>><<<
It was after ten when you got back to the dorms. You knew he'd been in his room, maybe even asleep, but you didn't care. You were livid. And there was exactly one person you knew who could match your level of anger.
"Train with me." You insisted when Bakugo opened his door. He was in sweats and a tank top but he didn't look drowsy.
"No."
"Bakugo."
"Y/N."
You folded your arms over your chest. Not in the mood. "Fine, fuckin whatever. I'll go get Kiri then..."
You already started walked to the neighboring room but Bakugo leaned on his door frame. "Shitty hair's gonna make you talk about it."
"You're probably right."
"You don't look like you wanna talk."
"I don't want to talk. I wanna kick someone's ass!"
Bakugo stepped out of his room. "And you thought to ask me? You think you can kick my ass?"
"I've done it before."
It wasn't easy by any means to best Bakugo, but you weren't looking for an easy fight. You didn't want someone to coddle you or try to make you feel better right now. If you did, you would have gone straight for Kirishima.
He stood in front of you now, hands on his hips, looking down with piercing red eyes. "Fine. Training yard. Ten minutes. No quirks though. Beat me without yours."
Now that was going to be challenging but you accepted.
You hadn't wasted any time going out to the yard. Slipping by the rest of your classmates to avoid any questions. Bakugo was right on time, hands in his pockets look about as disinterested as he usually did.
"I'm only doin' this on one condition."
"And what's that?"
"If I pin you three times, you gotta tell me what happened when you ran off."
"What if I pin you three times? Then what?"
"Whatever you want."
Whatever you wanted? That was a lot of power but then you realized, he didn't think there was any way you would win.
"Fine. I wanna kiss you. No, no no. I wanna make out with you, yeah." You'd get even with Monoma. And with someone, he hated no less.
Bakugo shrugged as if it was no big deal, but it was obvious the slight widening of his pupils, you'd caught him off guard.
"Fine by me, Princess. Three pins for a win. No quirks."
"Deal."
You each took your stance, and you weren't waiting any longer. Temper boiled over and you charged at him but all he did was dodge out of the way. Dodge and then grab you by the back of the shirt before you could spin around. With a strong thrust, he had your back slammed into the ground.
Before you could even think about scrambling away, he had both your wrists pinned above your head and shins over both ankles.
"Fighting angry doesn't work for you, Princess. Gotta use that damn brain of yours."
You writhed and tried to thrust your hips into a bridge but his grip was too good. As soon as the eight-count was up, he returned to his starting spot without another word.
Letting him come for you was the easiest way to get Bakugo on the floor. Out-smarting him was another way to throw him off his game. You shook off the rage from your parents. Exhaled slowly, and dropped back into your stance.
This time, he came for you. Throwing two quick punches in succession and then a third landed against your rips. You recovered quickly by ducking slow and working his torso, aiming for the points you remembered Kirishima hitting him during training in class earlier that day. They had to still be sore.
It might have been a cheap way to play but it was effective. You landed three hits and a kick before he grabbed your ankle in mid-air, sneering for just a second and then flipping you back on the ground. But, you wouldn't be taken so easily this time.
Bakugo's shirt had ridden up and you could see the purplish bruise along his right side. Before he could trap your legs, you wound them around his middle, squeezing tightly, "Fuck." He bit out but didn't relent.
Tight your snared your legs and tighter he gripped your wrists. You were hurting him, you had to be but you wouldn't give in. You had payback to win and you were going to use Bakugo to get it. He gave out, tipping forward and you jerked your wrists hard using his sweat-slicked hands to your advantage and slipping free.
A knee to his lower back, you pulled his arm behind him and started the count while he chuckled. "That's more like it."
You worked his injuries to earn you another point. Tougher a second time since he picked on your weak leg where Sero had grabbed you earlier making you fall.
The fourth match went to him. Bakugo no longer playing around, he went right for the kill as if to remind you how easily you were to best. He sprinted forward and went for your thighs. Lifting you in the air and then taking you down to the ground in one swift motion. Counting down while you struggled, sweat dripping off his nose and mingling with your own.
You were two for two. The next match would decide it.
One more time, you stood apart from each other. You weren't ready to talk about it. You weren't ready to explain how your parents practically gave Monoma permission to do what and who he pleased while you had to be loyal and faithful for the rest of your damn life. No. You just wanted to win. And have Bakugo kiss you until you forgot about everything.
That was why you ran for him, sliding low at the last second between sturdy legs and kicked with everything you had. He went down to his knees and you tried tackling him forward but he reached behind him, finding a good hold, and hauled you over his shoulder.
The world spun and then slammed to a halt leaving you looking up at a sweaty, smirking Bakugo.
Cocky bastard.
You flipped your legs up hooking him in your hold and finally twisting until he was back down. "Got you now." You had him between your thighs while his hands helplessly pulled against you for the remaining countdown.
Your legs relaxed and Bakugo gasped, resting his head against the fat of your thigh while you both caught your breath.
"You fuckin' won."
"Damn right I did. Where's my prize, blasty pants?"
For a moment, you wondered if he was gonna back out. Scoff and walk off. You wouldn't have really blamed him because it wasn't like you were gonna force him into something he didn't want... you knew exactly what that was like and you wouldn't have wished that upon anyone.
He rolled off you, sat by your side. "That's really what you want?"
You nodded. "Don'tcha wanna ask someone else?"
"Nope. I'm askin' you."
"ButIhaven'tkissedanyonebefore."
"Excuse me? I think you might have sneezed."
Bakugo shoved your shoulder before repeating, "I've never kissed anyone. I'm sure I'd be good at it! Don't worry about that! But, if you wanted someone, you know, who knows..."
You broke out laughing. "I've only kissed Monoma. My expectations aren't exactly sky-high." Your fingers brushed against his in the dirt. Both of you looked a wreck but that didn't stop Bakugo from pressing his lips against yours with entirely too much force making your teeth clash when he landed on top of you.
"It's not a competition, Bakugo."
"Yeah, it is." He grumbled with his lips still on yours. "I gotta be better than him."
"Then you gotta relax." You placed a kiss on his cheek, and then his jaw, and a soft one against his lips, "See? Already better."
He was a fast learner. Actually listened to what you liked and applied it quickly. Bakugo grew bolder as the minutes passed, fingers warm on your skin when he ventured under your shirt and kisses wandering down your neck. He also learned he like you kissing the junction of his neck, the way you sucked at the skin there.
There were breathy little gasps he could get you to make and you sounded so soft for him.
You could have stayed there all night, the comfortable weight of him on top of you but any later and Iida was gonna send a search party.
You left the training yard with him, parted ways to shower, and then go off to your rooms as if nothing had happened. But, Bakugo laid atop his sheets unable to stop his mind from reeling. He pulled up your contact info on his phone and opened a new message.
You: If you need someone to take out your frustrations on, don't bother askin' shitty hair.
A response came in minutes later,
Y/N: I'll come to you first.
And you did. For the next five years...
>>><<<
Sneaking around was half the fun. Wigs, pretty dresses, and fancy suits. Hotel rooms booked under different names, in different cities. You and Bakugo grew together, we're closer than you and Monoma had ever been!
You'd fallen in love with a man you could never have but you didn't care.
Every time Monoma was caught with a new woman or tried belittling you, you remembered Bakugo. And tonight was no different.
You normally tried to plan meetups away from personal residences, it was easier that way but tonight had been especially bad.
You see, a man had asked for your number after you saved his daughter. He explained buying you a coffee was the very least he could do to show his gratitude. And you stupidly accepted his offer.
"That's why you became a hero, isn't it? Flirt and get guys to notice you because you need all that attention, don't you? You're never going to get it. Not from them. Not anyone. Not ever. Hell, I'm not even going to give it to you." His face inched closer, "Unless you beg me for it. Bet you wouldn't be so annoying if you were on your damn knees for me."
You closed your eyes while he spat his venom, let him rant until his words ran out and he left you outside the agency you worked for. Izuku asked if you were alright when you walked back in the office and you painted on your happy face, assuring him everything was fine before going to change into civilian clothes.
But, you didn't go home. You drove straight to Bakugo's place, his penthouse that he absolutely loved that overlooked the shining city lights.
You: I'm outside. I need you.
Blasty: You know the code.
He never gave you crap about coming over no matter how risky it was. He'd given you the code for the employee's entrance to his building and the service elevator. And, just like always, he was waiting for you the very moment you stepped off.
You sprung on him, leaving him to stumble backward with you in his arms until his back hit the wall. Fingers running up his front until you found the little silver zipper of his hoodie and pulled it down, reveling in the warmth of his skin, littered with scars of battles pasted underneath.
"Damn, Princess, what'd he do this time?"
He brushed your hair back meaning to kiss your neck but instead saw the wet streaks along your cheeks. "Seriously, Y/N, what'd he do?"
There was no use hiding it from him, Bakugo wouldn't let this go any further until you told him at least a hint of the truth. "Told me I'd never get attention from anyone, not unless I begged."
It'd become almost too easy to tell him the truth of things. He never pried but would talk if that's what you wanted. Usually, though, he was good at taking Monoma's shitty words and turning them into something so much better.
Rough thumbs cleared away your angry tears. "We'll see about that." He spun so you were pinned between his body and the wall. Bakugo's hand ghosted over your leg, dipping under your skirt to find the thin panties you wore.
"'M gonna make you wanna beg for me," A hard yank, and they were gone, Bakugo on his knees before you right in the entryway nudging your legs further and further apart to accommodate him, pressing wet kisses against soft flesh. "Beg for me to start," He shoved up your skirt and vanished under it, "Beg for more," Warm breath fanned out over you making your legs squeeze around his head, "Beg me until you just can't take it anymore."
"P-please." The pitiful plea fell from your lips. Because if it was Bakugo, you'd gladly beg. He put on a tough exterior, had many layers to break through, but he'd never leave you anything less than completely satisfied.
He nipped at your thigh, "Do better."
"Katsuki, please. I need it so bad. I need you. I wanna feel you, please, can I have you?"
"Good girl." You felt his words reverberate against your core just before his tongue rolled against your clit.
Five years gave the two of you a lot of time to get good at many things together, learning what the other likes, coming a long way from late-night, sloppy makeout sessions in the training yard.
Bakugo could have you coming undone in a matter of minutes now or he could drag it out of you for hours. And, judging by the slow, methodical licks he was giving you, this wasn't going to be a quick evening.
You whining when he resumed kissing your inner thighs, leaving you breathless and wanting so much more from him. "But why, Katsukiii, why'd you stop?"
"You stopped begging. Show me how needy you are and maybe I'll keep going."
There was no maybe about it. He didn't have all the power here. You grabbed the back of his head, a fist full of that light blonde hair, kept shorter now than in high school and pulled him from under your skirt so he'd look up at you. The right words were all Bakugo needed to lose control.
"Please, sir, I need you to make me cum. I need you to make me forget his name. I don't wanna remember it. Please, please, sir, fuck me until I can't remember Monoma, only you."
Slowly he stood until he was looking over you with a wicked snarl. "What's my fuckin' rule, Princess?"
You had to fight back a smile. One word. Just one name and he was all fired up. "I- I'm really sorry!"
You weren't, not at all.
"No one fuckin' says his name in my house. Damn, I really am gonna have to fuck you senseless, aren't I? Bed. Now."
Bakugo landed a smack right on your ass as you made a b-line right for his bedroom.
And, just as it did every single time you made your way into his private room, you gravitated to the floor to ceiling glass windows. Once you'd seen it, there was no doubt in your mind why Bakugo loved this place as much as he did. It took your breath away every single time.
You'd dreamed about him screwing you against the glass or sucking him off on the balcony beyond it but the risk of being caught had always been too great, even this high up.
"I said bed." His voice was low in your ear while he took your jacket off your shoulders. "Better listen."
He pulled your blouse up and over your head, removed your bra all before tugging his own pants down just enough to free his half-hardened cock.
Gods, you knew how it felt inside you, every vein and that upward tilt he had, it had you clenching at the very thought. "You want my cock? You know what to do."
He wanted a show and you'd give him one. One hand running down your body while the other stopped to tease your pebbled nipple. He sat in one of the highback chairs meant for TV watching after he spun it around. Legs stretched out while he gave himself slow, languid strokes.
Red eyes roamed your body. The way your fingers teased little circles before slipping one inside, a soft sigh going straight to his cock. Picking up the place, he watched the way you pinched and pulled at your nipples. You had every ounce of his attention.
"Remember his name?"
"Yes, sir."
"Add another finger then."
You did as you were told.
"Curl 'em up inside you. You can push them deeper than that."
Moans fell from your lips more freely, spurring him on further.
"That's it, princess. Still remember?"
"Yes, sir, I think I need your help, sir."
"I am helping. Add another. And don't stop messing with that pretty clit either."
Your third finger slid inside, pumping them in and out while your wetness gathered between your thighs. Your hips were rocking, abandoning your tits so your other hand could rub on your clit.
Higher you climbed, "Faster now," you couldn't even keep your eyes open to watch Bakugo stroke his fully erect cock anymore but damn did you wanna feel it.
"Please, sir, I need you!"
"'Course you do," The chair creaked and then you felt quirk-warmed hands on your legs, "Move. Both hands on your tits, now." Two of his own fingers filled you up just as much as three of yours had felt. Just longer, able to push in deeper, making your back arch up off the bed, head going fuzzy when his tongue found you again.
Harder you squeezed your chest, hips wiggling, desperate to reach your release. "Remember?" He grunted from between your legs.
A strangled, mhm, was all you could manage being so close. Crying when he added another thick digit with the others but it was exactly what you needed.
Wet fingers slid out just as you started to shake, both his hands slammed your thighs down on the bed, spread wide, while his tongue took you through your orgasm.
"And now?"
"Wha?"You mumbled still coming back down.
"Now we're getting somewhere."
Before you had a chance to fully calm down, Bakugo yanked you to the edge of the bed. Spinning you onto your stomach with ass perked up in the air. Smacking it just a little before taking his tip and running it against your still dripping folds.
You pushed back wanting more but he pulled himself away, "Ah-ah, what's his stupid fuckin name?"
"Um, Mon-"
Bakugo entered you with a single hard thrust, pulling out completely while you gasped. "But-But you asked!"
"Because I need to know-" Another thrust, "Just how hard-" Another, "I gotta go!"
His grip on your hips was bruising, bring your ass back, smacking against him each and every time until it was his name you were moaning. "Yeah, hah, that's it, princess. My fuckin' name. Not his."
He bent over top of you, hand against the back of your neck pinning you down. Bakugo picked up the pace, balls slapping against you with a steady rhythm.
"K-Kat Katsuki! Fuck, more, more, please. Yes, sir, please!"
He twitched inside and you kept begging. Anything to get more of him. His grip on your neck tightened and pulled you up, back against him while he fucked deeper. You were facing the windows, your reflection in the glass with tits bouncing and Bakugo's arm wrapped around your middle. His face buried in your neck.
"Want them to see you, don'tcha?" He knew exactly what you wanted, you'd talked about it enough, "Yeah, mmm, squeeze me tighter, naughty fuckin' woman!" You cam again at the thought of the cool glass on your tits, how it'd contrast with the very heat of him. "Fuck!"
He shoved you back down, relentless now, "Fucking hell, Kats, yes!" Tiny explosions released against your shoulders just seconds before he shot ropes inside of you.
Bakugo carefully laid you flat on your stomach, hips trusting lazily as he worked every last drop into you. He kissed between your shoulder blades and then each red mark he left on your shoulders. One at the center of your back, another just above your tailbone, and finally a playful smack of your ass before he pulled out.
"Remember?" He muttered, kissing below your ear.
"Nu-uh." Of course you did but Monoma was now in some very distant part of your mind. Completely overtaken by Bakugo.
"Good." He flipped you over and scooped you up into his arms, not giving a single damn about your combined releases currently leaking out of you and onto him.
He held you in his arms, while the bath water filled. Waiting for it to be warm enough to set you inside. When he finally did, you gave him a questioning look, why wasn't he joining you like he usually did and instead just using a washcloth.
"Dinner." He stated plainly.
"I haven't eaten yet."
"Yeah, I know. I heard your fuckin' stomach growling when I was eating you out." He tossed the soiled rag into the hamper.
"Well, that's embarrassing."
Bakugo placed a kiss on the crown of your head, "No, it's just you, you dummy. Now, sit here, fill it up with some bubbles or whatever and I'll come get ya when it's ready."
"Yes, sir!" You gave a mock salute but he cocked a slender blonde brow.
"Call me that again and dinner's gonna fuckin' wait."
You smiled, seriously considering it, but you did need food and Bakugo was the best cook you knew. "Maybe for dessert."
"Dummy..." He left with a laugh.
>>><<<
Bakugo had started food and changed the bedsheets while he heard you humming quietly to yourself in the bathroom. Ignoring the tug in his chest, reminding him how much he actually liked having you in his space no matter how much he tried denying it.
He returned to the food now sizzling in its pan when his phone rang.
"What's up, Shitty Hair?"
"Is Y/N with you! Been trying to call her but she's not answering me!"
Kirishima was the only person who knew yours and Bakugo's relationship was more than friends.
"Yeah. She's in the bath, why?"
"Put on the fuckin' news, now!"
"Fuckin' hell. What's so damn important! I'm tryin' to make some damn dinner..." He complained while he found the remote and flipped to one of the news stations.
"Just do it! And get Y/N too!"
He turned up the volume so he could hear what the reporter with yellow eyes was saying, "... It is official, legislation has just passed a law that quirk arrangements going forward that do not have both parties explicit consent will be void! Both parties must still be a minimum age of 25 to marry but now both must have verbal and written consent. If parents or guardians are found to be forcing their children into these relationships, forging documentation, and or tampering with the arrangement in any way, the penalty will be a minimum of 15 years jail time and..."
Bakugo dropped his phone with Kirishima still on the line.
You were free. They had nothing over you anymore. The one person he wanted that he was sure he could never fully have was free.
He sprinted for the bathroom calling your name.
Hi! I just found "Come Back" and I absolutely hate it how good it was! Ugh my heart. :( Was wondering if there's going to be a sequel/part 2?
Hi! I'm so sorry I never saw this until today! I've thought about doing a sequel but I feel like sometimes you've just gotta let stuff go 🥰🥰
