It's funny cus what @thr0wnawayy mentions is sort of what happens in the fight of Cider House and Bakugou, as C.H shooting water beams at high preasure was giving BK a lot of problems and was Shoto who defeated Cider (even if there's problems with that too).
Realistically a lot of quirks should be a complete danger for everyone in the battlefield, explosions are just one example. But what about any fire quirk? Shoto almost killed Shindo once, but obviously outside that very specific case Horikoshi never make a big deal out of the dangers of using fire in the wrong situation even if that's even more dangerous than explosions if you ask me.
Or what about Mina shooting literal acid, how tf that's not dangerous in any situation? We seen that shit disolving everything in the blink of an eye, how she even uses it and not kill every villain? It's silly.
Quirks are dangerous only if Horikoshi decides to make them dangerous. Which is giant flaw in the logic to introduce the concept of "villanous quirks" that seems to be a big social issue.
What's even a "villanous quirk" then? Brainwash is super horrible but burn people with fire/acid isn't?
What bothers me the most about Izuku's character is that it seems like he can't feel anything, like because he can't be angry with what happens to him, you know why he can't have negative feelings towards Bakugou? This admiration he has for the bomb boy is not normal and healthy, it reminds me of Stockholm Syndrome. Bakugou stans say that Izuku is boring, but when talking about this thing about him not being angry with Bakugou, they keep saying that we don't understand Izuku's character. What's your opinion? Am I exaggerating?
I don't think you're exaggerating. In fact, I think it's deliberate on Horikoshi's part.
I began to realize Izuku's character was regressing the minute I first came across this scene:
This is the only scene I can justify hating Izuku's character because it was such an out of pocket line coming from him. And it kind of stuck in my head for weeks because it felt so OOC. Like, Izuku of all characters pushing for Todoroki to forgive Endeavor? It made no sense to me.
But do you see how it pans to Bakugou?
To me, this is Horikoshi indirectly attempting to absolve Bakugou. Izuku's line here is trying to communicate that that's how he feels about Bakugou.
Similarly to All Might saying Izuku doesn't hold what Bakugou did against him, this is another piece of plot manipulation from Horikoshi. Bakugou's redemption is pushed through the words of others, not through his actions. Especially when it comes to how he treated Izuku.
If Izuku, at any point, was still upset or noticeably traumatized by Bakugou's actions, Bakugou couldn't have been reasonably redeemed. Because there would be no feasible reason to even have him around Izuku and the only reason Bakugou's even relevant is due to Horikoshi sticking him onto Izuku in every arc
This man is going to be the death of me one of these days, I swear
So one of my autistic special interests is finding headcanon singing voices for my favorite characters. One night I was talking with my friend @thatvixenchick about a voice for Chisaki, and ended on Andy's voice! So, I absolutely had to draw Chisaki in the same pose as one of Andy's promo shots for The Shadow Side!!

I just want them to get back together in some way or another
Love the fact the anime made the three AFO users share the same (or almost the same) shield quirk:
Nine.
Shigaraki.
All For One.
Which is funny and notice I said the anime, because in the manga neither Shigaraki or All For One are using (or have) shield quirks.
They likely use air cannon or some blast quirk in those scenes ->
But Bones specifically changed that into quirks that resemble Nine's Air Wall quirk.
I like to think it's a tribute to my king š¤
However the shield quirks of the other two seem to be much weaker that Air Wall.
AFO shield quirk in particular is probably the worst, as it only covers a very small radious and it was destroyed by one Jet Burn from Endeavor.
Meanwhile Nine's version of the quirk can cover a gigantic radious if he user wants:
Also Air Wall can stack multiple shields into one and it was powerful enough to stop a charge from Deku going full 100%
All this makes me think Air Wall is such a boosted quirk in general.
No wonder why Nine stole that one. Smart boy.
Cloud boy
My hero academia villains!
Well that's an anime only thing.
He's pretty skinny or with more subtle muscles in the manga.
I much prefer him the way Horikoshi draws him tbh.
Not only look less generic, but more attractive as well. Also is makes sense story wise for him to have less developed muscles.
dabi is BUFF BRO HOW DID I NOT NOTICE BEFORE
It was kind of a cheap explanation to justify the fact AFO and Yoichi look nothing alike. I mean even when non identical twins are far more common than identical ones, the nutrients thing still is a very dumb excuse.
Kudo not being Bakugou ancestor is another cheap attempt of plot twist or subvert expectations, just because Horikoshi can go with the whole "AFO is so mad at Kudo after 100 years that he projects his image in this random boy who looks like him". Is like a cheap imitation of the Yoriichi/Tanjiro dynamic with Muzan in Demon Slayer.
Funny how people call Nine to be emotionless, but he actually is a very passionate individual for his friends and ideals.
Shigaraki VA voiced Rui, a well written character I love. How ironic.
Canon possum is a joke but one thing I never forget is how decay IS powerful, sure a powerful quirk with an idiot is not a good thing in many fronts but...
Cinder (I'm loving him already) has to know a guy who can decay stuff with one touch even if he is an idiot.
Would cinder be worried about the quirk ?
Again, shig is an idiot and a bad leader and all that but one thing we can't deny is he knows how to fight.
So I think cinder would make a point to avoid him like the plague.
In canon Cider is the kind of person who knows he shouldn't bite off more than he can chew, since after all his plan during his debut was to steal during a very specific moment in which heroes aren't present, so is more reward without having to fight and less risk.
It was just a coincidence that A.M was there with Bakugou and Todoroki.
I guess his mentality also applies to fight dangerous villains, and the lov had some big names attached them. Their reputation probably was enough for Cider to not have his gang involved with such group of psychos.
But... I disagree on Shigaraki being a good fighter.
Maybe before all the bs power ups given by the doctor he at least knew how do surprise attacks and such, but Decay being such a one-dimensional quirk also means the user doesn't require a lot of skill to put it in use. It is basically just run towards the enemy and touch for instakill.
Which became even more braindead post awakening. Like even Overhaul has more room to be creative and need skill to put in use.
Decay is just a broken and boring quirk that requieres nothing to be effective. Crusty asshole somehow manages to be more plain than he already was at first, is like he evolves in reverse.
Believe me, I was trying hard to not give him a name that means just cloud/storms/lightning (and none of the options with those words sounded good in my opinion).
But the fun thing is: Technically his nickname is already related to his quirk.
To be more precise the name Nine seems to be a reference to the term "Cloud Nine" and not just the number of the experiment he was part of as much people (including myself at first) seem to think.
Because at least according to the TUM chapter featuring Nine and his crew, they already used the nickname to refer to him, and keep in mind this happened when Deku and Bakugou were in highschool much before the expeirment happened
And it kinda makes sense, because in the movie it kinda feel weird that they only refer to his friend as "Nine" as that would be sort of distant and cold if it just was a lab term.
The idea of he using his nickname based on the term Cloud Nine also fits with the bit of info given on Slice character page, in which she comments Nine appreciates quirks more than names or something on those terms. So it would make sense if he prefers base his identity to his weather quirk.
The fact Nine is also the 9th experiment seems to be a fun coincidence in-universe for the lore.
...
P.S: I might consider using Insta to read those stories.
Have you ever thought on names for AFO and Nine?
As sadly canon never gives us something for them, and sometimes feels bad just call them by their nicknames.
I had some ideas for names for them, despite I suck for making names with japanese meanings lol. But I've tried anyway.
For AFO I like the name "Reiichi" as I read it can be interpreted as the "zero" or the one that started everything in the context of the story. And just because it sounds cool and imposing.
For Nine I like give him the name "Yoriichi" which according to some sources it can mean "divine" which is kinda fitting for his character.
Not only that but I like the simple fact that Yoriichi sound like a combination of Reiichi and Yoichi, as you probably know I'm a sucker for the idea of Nine being related to the Shigabros.
And like that all them have names ended with "ichi" how cute.
As a weeb I decided to learn a tiny bit of Japaneseā¦since most mha characters names are somewhat simple and direct translations. For example kaminari is literally just āthunderā but I think adding that to Nine would be too easy imo. However itās not the first time a character shared a common word in their names weather or not they may be actually related (EX: kendo rappa & itsuka kendo)
I know sora: sky, haiiro: grey, tenki: weather etc etc
I was messing around with the translator and got āé²é·/unraiā which is cloud weather or something in english idk but Iād assume nine wouldāve gotten something directly related to his quirk. But maybe his first or last name could be different and be related to the shigarakiās? ā¦I still want to think theyāre related somehow
For afo specificallyā¦I kinda like that his name is a mystery, before he was always seen as some odd mysterious villain. Kinda same for nine but the whole weather manipulation was a part too.
but I guess anything could work now since itās not like we are ever getting any official confirmation T^T
āāāāā
Oh I also made this photo for a instagram story uhhh yeah
Unhinged observation
And now we have the tiddy-popping, abs-showing, whoring man himself Sanemi tits-mcghee Shinazugawa
We've got the infamous shot
Then this like wtffffffff? Anime-only mind youuuuu!
I dunno about y'all but this counts as fanservice to me
Imagine being the person tasked with lovingly inking Sanemi's abs lol
Sanemi isn't in this scene but Sanemi's tiddies are hehe
Same thing here, there's no need for this shot but ok š, Giyuu couldn't handle it so he had to dip
This is such a trad malewife pose lol, complete with the subby demeanor and the tiddy presentation. Giyuu is crying, screaming, throwing up š
Then there's this too, oof that waist!!!!
Then there's his official art like what's with that expression??? Hmmmmmmm??? Tryna rizz up the whole fanbase
To be continued!!
