31. From the OC ask game: Do they like receiving gifts? Giving gifts? What is their ideal gift?
For Hades specifically but feel free to answer for any other characters as well!!
Hades likes being gifted blades. Swords, daggers, spears, she likes them all. She doesn't even need to be gifted them for use. It can just sit and look pretty and she'd enjoy it all the same. She likes giving gifts--mostly of food, water, blankets, and other things to homeless or poor people. She doesn't see herself as someone who needs money, she has a ton and can spare some. She will also gift her friends things that remind her of them.
Eros would probably enjoy gifting people roses and bracelets. He likes making people feel like they are pretty. He likes receiving jewelry as well, but he will accept gems from Hades because he likes her taste because all the gems she gives him are all strangely fitting, and she sometimes supplies him with a way to turn the gems into jewelry. He's like a bird that likes shiny things.
Reblog if it's okay to befriend you, ask questions, ask for advice, rant, vent, let something off your chest, or just have a nice chat.
Also, looking at her like this is making me want to draw her myself, which isn't a terrible thing. It's just more work for me and-
Okay, yeah, I'm going to draw her.
first time I’ve ever made one of these games so!
rules: make a character with this picrew, then make that character’s room (if they have one—if no then just imagine one up) with this one! Feel free to go more in depth about what’s in their room, or just about the character in general. Or just post the pictures and be done with it! It’s your choice.
yahoo it’s a Kai time ✨
As some of yall know, Kaiden is the main character of my WIP Interwoven! She decorates her room pretty sparsely, but I wasn’t able to add in any of the lil shells and rocks she collects. Either way, she has a bunch of those, plus records and mythology books, and that little pillow on the bed was something I thought fit her. She needs her silly lil pillow ok i don’t make the rules.
feel free to either reblog this with your own picrews or make a separate post
(psssst tag me if you make another one I wanna seeeee)
without further ado, I’ll make this an Open Tag as well as tagging the Tag Game List! Lemme know if you’d like on/off via dm:

Reblog if you stand against order, civilization, and goodness itself
In lieu of today being April 1st, reblog, comment, etc if you'd like to be booped (in the ask box, seeing as there's no boop button sadly) <3
Who would enjoy reading a potentially crappy poem that would absolutely be a spoiler to my original story? Or, at the very least, who would want to read a poem that my classmates have told me is too narrative? Because I have written a poem that has so many interpretations even without knowing the story behind the poem's background and it is beautiful.
For those who want to know the context, I've written a blurb below.
For context, this is right after the protagonist's power develops, and she unalives her father on her sixteenth birthday. This reaction scene hasn't been written in any capacity. I just imagined how she would react to it and... boom, peom.
So I've written fanfiction in the past. MHA fanfiction, Jujutsu Kaisen, other anime that are currently slipping my brain. So I was thinking... there is one MHA fanfiction I've written (and abandoned) with an absolutely brutal scene. The MC, in the second chapter (Or maybe third? I frame it as second.) of his story, gets brutalized. A major part of his quirk gets ripped off/out. He has wings. you'd think I should put had, but he has a second quirk and it's all fine. But the point is, I was exploring what I am willing to do to my characters. I was exploring how far I would go in an attempt to ruin the life of my own characters. How much detail would I put in a scene that I don't usually write.
Just a forewarning, the scene is describing a major injury. Blood and limbs getting ripped off level violence. If people are interested in the scene, I will hide the scene, naturally, but this is for the possibility of people voting yes who don't like scenes like that.
Have art
Hello!
Hello! What brings you to my asks?
I hope y'all are familiar with these in this day and age, especially my artists out there, because they're incredibly common.
About half an hour ago I posted a drawing and tagged it #artists on tumblr, and very quickly received this comment.
My scam radar went off immediately, due to the generic blog name and lack of any emotion in the comment, but I decided it might be an entertaining venture so I dmed them. They asked for a drawing "of these", and sent me a random selfie. I got the details and told them it would be $15, and they promptly offered me $300. At this point I know it's a scam, but I play along for funsies and give them my paypal. Shortly, they send me this image for "confirmation" (I blocked out my email)
And they began to insist that I checked my email. I looked in my spam folder and found the following email.
This is fake. This is not a thing. And the "you're to refund the $200.00 back" is the scam. They send vaguely official-looking emails at you to "prove" that they sent you the money, then have you send them $200 (or however much the scam is for). Then, surprise surprise, you're out $200.
I continued to play along for a bit, and in the second email "Paypal" told me that I had to refund the $200 before they could "credit the $300 to my account", along with these lovely threats.
And yeah, it's silly. But it's not silly if you don't know and get scammed. So. Spread, please! And thank you very much to @mlaurel for the opportunity to get these screenshots.
