Post modern experiment on Avedon's 'William Casby' photo. Roland Barthes saw the face as an antique teatral mask and the purity of that face makes that mask convey the 'meaning'. I put starbucks thing on it and now the meaning totally changed including what they called "starbucks experience". the contradiction between the original image and the way i changed it created a tension. the tension that triggers creative process.
