I don’t understand how someone can watch a season where one character’s main storyline (of that season) is accepting his homosexuality and love for his best friend, and in that same fucking season another character, the best friend he’s in love with too, has a main storyline of not being able to say he loves his girlfriend, and say that there will be nothing going on there. That is so suspicious, even if you don’t consider Mike’s queer coding, and even if you consider the monologue his genuine thoughts and “love redemption” of the season, the fact that that’s his storyline in the same season where we really see Will’s love for him is INSANE. Something is going on next season, that’s for sure.
This was 100% a dogwhistle. I don’t believe they bought the sword in a “Nazi way” but it’s definitely a joke to them to show something Ethan will “crash out” over and then they get to call him paranoid again. Definition of a dogwhistle.
When my friend jokingly takes something from me and it takes everything in me not to strangle her 🤩🤩 (this happens often)
I want to move to Maryland mostly just because I think their flag is cool
I’ve always thought that (generally speaking) people with low or no empathy have the capability to be better/nicer people than those with empathy. Growing up without empathy means you have to learn how to be nice, to everyone, and you probably understand what kindness is more. Growing up with empathy means you never have to learn this stuff, it just comes to you naturally. And then when there’s someone they don’t feel empathy for, they aren’t able to be nice or kind to them. Because we have to learn this stuff, we do it for everyone. People who have empathy will never feel it for every single person or people who differ from them in any way, and it shows.
In 2022, people were cancelling Stranger Things for the tattooed numbers being reminiscent of the Holocaust and them filming in Lukiškės Prison. Now, those same people are “cancelling” it for having multiple Jews “Zionists” who are a part of it. No opinions on the first part, but it’s just interesting to see.
it's cool how even normal people on the left have gone from like performatively complaining about how antisemitic harry potter was to just unilaterally deciding that jewish pain and antisemitism don't matter because someone might mistake them for a zionist if they defend us
My sea of monsters book being the only one not absolutely beat up 💀
Trump will be like “all Palestinians are terrible people and I’m working hard to make sure there’s no ceasefire!!” and Kamala will say “My goal is to help both Israelis and Palestinians, we will support our ally and encourage a ceasefire” and (some) people will still say “Both are terrible! Don’t vote for genocide supporter Kamala!!”
If Biden decided today to pull his own Night of the Long Knives, and kill a good sum of American police officers, I wonder how leftists would react. I feel like we’ve seen some answers from their reactions to Luigi Mangione. If murder is okay for bad people, murder becomes okay for anyone. That’s the same way Hitler worked. And it won’t solve anything either. What’s the plan from here? Kill all the other CEOs? Then, kill all the people who replaced them? Repeat? I’m shocked with the amount of intelligent people applauding this (and I’m not saying you have to condemn it, I couldn’t care less and I support him because I’ll support any Italian).
He’s finally here!
