Ninjago eye color headcanons cause I need a list

cole: brown. Easy. Just like his mom. I wanted him to have the a homey look to him. His eyes do turn orange when he uses his lava arms though.

Jay: blue-grey. Colored like storm clouds. I was actually thinking of giving him shattered iris'. Lightning look ya know. Ed and Edna have green and grey eyes.

Kai and Nya: hazel. More on the light brown side. I wanted a color for them both to share instead of them each having different ones. i like it better when they look identical.

Zane: icy blue. They look a bit more normal before season 4 but after he rebuilds they become... Glowy. I actually draw them like cameras. It's not noticeable but his eyes are oddly bright if you look too close. :)

Lloyd: this little traffic light ugh. His eyes are green usually. They glow. Red when he's tired/depowered or hasn't used his powers in a while. Reds his natrul eye color and it turns more purple after he uses his oni stuff the first time. Gold when golden power stuff happens, idk.

Hello namelysane! I wanted to ask what age was hellspawn when the merge happened? Btw this is for fanart reasons, cus I wanna draw my oc (Lydia garmadon, yes, I’m yellow rose lady and the one with the dad Lloyd au similar to yours) with hellspawn.

I also wanted to ask if this is not to bothersome, how would hellspawn react to a lil’sister like Lydia who is pretty bratty and very greedy with Lloyd attention? (Cus ya’know, she was raise with only her dad and her dad’s full attention, she’s gonna be pretty territorial over him and his attention? Ya’know what I mean???)

Anyways, I’m just asking so I can draw ideas for what it would be like if they were in the same universe. If you don’t like it that’s okay, hellspawn is your oc and I can respect and back off of drawing her with my oc if you want!

It’s up to you and what you’ll consent to your oc being used for (in this case an what if au merge)

Just to ask because I’m curious and think it would be a pretty cool idea, what If hellspawn turns out to have golden ninja powers but like, full time? The powers don’t disappear or go away cus she was made form them?? Idk , I’m just blurting out ideas now.

Before the Merge, she's like 8. During Dragons Rising she'd be about thirteen.

And oh yes, she'd be really territorial. For all this time, it's been just her, after all. And don't worry, you're free to draw her how you want.

But about the golden power thing though, I'm really sorry, I've already picked an element for her 😭 but thanks for the suggestion though.

my working theory for dragons rising is that Wu is dead, but will continue to sorta guide the ninja on occassion from the departed realm or whatever. And so, since he’s gone, Sora isn’t actually the master of tecnology, she’s the master of creation.  Because she has a natrual affinity towards tech, everyone Thinks it’s her power. but she isn’t really doing much but creating a new design or fixing thigns. Both things that I think the power of creation would be able to do.

And the reason Sora only gets her power from Ryu is because dragons are literally the powers of creation, right? like the Oni were destruction and dragons were the elements of creation. So what if Ryu is a baby source dragon and has the literal powers of creation to give to Sora, unlocking her true potential super early

This part though... This. Freaking. Part.

Imagine Garmadon and Lloyd fighting off droves of Vengestone Warriors, and Lloyd freezes in place upon watching his father fight, remembering how he was thrown around and grabbed and beaten and bruised by his father before, and he doesn't move because he's too terrified of having to work with the man who almost killed him multiple times. A Vengestone Warrior creeps up on Lloyd and Garmadon takes it out, which snaps Lloyd back to reality and they fight more and more of the VS Warriors.

Ok, so according to the Tommy, the main reason why Jay isn’t an inventor anymore is because (and this is the exact quote), “Between Jay, Nya and Pixal there were too many characters with that profile.” Aka, there were now too many techies on the main cast to warrant a need for them all, so that part of Jay’s character ultimately got the ax.

Now while I can understand why three techies could be frustrating to work with from a writing perspective, I would like to offer a compromise to this conundrum, as I still firmly believe it was a bad decision to get rid of what’s arguably Jay’s most redeeming and defining qualities.

So, here is my proposal…

Why not have Jay be the “wacky” inventor of the team, while Nya and Pixal remain more refined and practical?

Jay wasn’t just an tinkerer. The guy grew up in a junkyard, meaning he’s used to making almost anything out of what’s basically scrap metal. In the earlier seasons, Jay would build about anything that simply popped into his head, just because he could. He and his entire family even had weird inventions and made up terms for pretty much everything there, no matter how absurd. This is unlike Nya and Pixal, who both have much sleeker styles. Jay is creative and an out-of-the-box thinker, which was one of his greatest strengths.

Have Nya and Pixal tag team and build the main vehicles for the team back at the monastery while Jay is able to spruce something up with limited supplies when they’re out on a mission. His methods aren’t always conventional or practical, or even the prettiest, but they almost always do their job and get the team out of a sticky situation. That way they can all still have that “mechanical” side, but just now suited for different roles, balancing everything out.

If hellspawn ever met Echo, how would they get along?

Echo would be really confused on how her existence is possible and Zane would explain that it's similar to how their father made them.

But yeah, they'd get along.

She'd sit there curiously watching Nya, Jay and Zane repair Echo after being caught spying on them and they'd all talk until Lloyd finally finds her and puts her down for a nap.

She made a get-well-soon card for him after Nya told her he was 'sick' and that's why they were fixing him. Echo's kept it with him ever since.

After finding out that he and Zane are brothers because Dr Julien created him too, she ran to Lloyd asking for a sibling. Lloyd immediately told her NO.

Evil uncle and nephew bonding since canon Ninjago wasted this potential :')
