I NEED this as a fic NOW!!😱
What if… Steve has a power that attracts people to him. He has to guard his heart because he’s just never sure that love is real or because of his magnetism. But it’s useful in the job as perps change their tune when Steve whammies them. When Steve begins to notice small things about Danny and how he acts around him, he assumes it’s because of his powers seeping out when they weren’t supposed to, maybe it’s something to do with exposure. But what Steve doesn’t know is that Danny has powers too that he hasn’t told anyone about. Danny has immunities. Poisons, viruses, serums, even vaccines and medicines don’t work on him. And that probably extends to superpowers because he knows Steve has no affect on him….

And I have a bone to pick with the writers. The fact that Jack did not walk right in to see Oversight and give his own notice of resignation as soon as Mac left that door says to me that everything they were trying to build in this relationship - Jack following Mac to California after declaring nothing would stop him from seeing Texas, Jack signing up for another tour after saying all he wanted was to get stateside, Jack vehemently declaring that he is there to watch Mac’s back not do anything else for Phoenix besides watch Mac’s back (please see Season 1 Episode 8) - means nothing and they don’t really care about Jack’s character at all.
You wrote this man to be living a Wookie Life Debt with Angus MacGyver and then you write him into letting Mac WALK AWAY? Chewie never left Han, even after all they went through, he never thought “Oh hey this is nice here with the rebellion and Leia guess I’ll just stay while Han goes somewhere else” - HE WENT WITH HIM. He and Han are out smuggling their way through the galaxy even when they’re old and grey.
Why did you not let Jack follow Mac out of Phoenix? Because as far as I could see, he had no actual obligation to stay. Riley was considering leaving, she was with Billy, and if you think she hadn’t talked even a LITTLE with Jack about her thoughts about leaving the life to settle down you are again, sadly and woefully, misunderstanding YOUR OWN WRITING, and Bozer had Leanna to watch his back so he didn’t need Jack to watch out for him while Mac was away.
Without Mac there, Jack had no obligations to Phoenix or Matty or Oversight.
I can’t wait! 😊
I really want a fic where Jack’s army buddies are begging him to come to their company’s military ball or something and they’re all like “we heard you got married, we wanna meet her!” and Mac thinks it’d be good for Jack to see everyone again and such and so Sergant Jack Dalton waltz’s in with his pretty husband on his arm; both in their dress blues and wedding rings shining and all Jack’s buddies are like “wtf where’s your wife?” and Jack just pulls Mac in for a deep kiss and goes, “everyone, I’d like to introduce you to my husband, Angus MacGyver-Dalton,” and jaws drop around the room because they remember who he is.. who Mac was anyway… and who tf could have guessed that loud-mouthed, knuckle-dragger Jack Dalton was fucking his EOD tech…?
Solomon’s Shield is the name of the app
OMG Download this!!!! Stop Police Brutality!
You can’t hurt me. Westley and I are joined by the bonds of love. And you cannot track that, not with a thousand bloodhounds, and you cannot break it, not with a thousand swords. And when I say you are a coward it is only because you are one of the slimiest weaklings ever to walk the Earth! The Princess Bride (1987) dir. Rob Reiner
OMG yes! I just had ballroom dance tryouts and my feet are killing me but I can so see this!!!😃
Imagine Mac and Jack slow dancing to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri as their first dance as husbands at their wedding reception. Now imagine Riley singing it while the boys dance instead of them playing from a cd. Now imagine her starting off by saying: “This is for my dad and Mac. I love you both.” ♥️
Btw I’m gonna write this into my additions to ‘Already Married…’
