Please, please, can we have more books about involved Jewish characters and Jewish communities that aren’t focused on a. the Holocaust, or b. ultraorthodox circles where everything is repressive and everyone is unhappy (even if they Just Don’t Know It)????

If it was percy in nico's place in son of Neptune. He wouldn't be able to lie about the whole not knowing each other thing because of his fatal flaw (personal loyalty).

Hats off to Nico for being 14 and yet patient enough to hold himself back from the truth even though it was The legendary Percy Amazing Jackson, his Crush who asked the question.

The fact that in lightning thief when percy first meets hades all regal and majestic and after like 10 seconds of conversation. He starts ranting about the problem of the underworld like an old man ranting about his ongoing business of dairy and it's downfall. It's like a typical relative conversation happening where the sassy teenager is bored and the 50 year old uncle is still not done complaining about life. That's what cracks me up!
