the BOSCOMBE VALLEY MYSTERY part 2 - part 1 here - there is a mention of Holmes reading Petrarch in this story and so naturally I went on a deep dive of some of the most TRAGIC AND ROMANTIC POETRY ABOUT DOOMED LOVE I HAVE EVER READ. BUDDY.
the 'deductions and inferences' bit I drew ages ago so it's in a different style! classic bitch moment.
One more part to come! This is in the Watson's Sketchbook series.
This guy has been living on my monitors for a few days. I let some bugs in and he caught one but he is always in hunt mode.
Was doing my readings for my socio-language class and look who popped up!!
The author really said 'hey here's a theoretical concept– oh btw Holmes and Watson are imbedded in each other's identity, like soulmates" and I'm just supposed to keep reading????
@cactisays you are quite scintillating <3
In case anyone’s having a bad day, here’s a collection of Holmes complimenting Watson in canon:
“Excellent, Watson!”
“Dr Watson is my friend and partner.”
“Would you go in, Watson? Your appearance inspires confidence.”
“Watson, you are a British Jury, and I never met a man more eminently fitted to represent one.”
“Dr Watson is the very soul of discretion.”
“Brilliant, Watson!”
“Capital, Watson!”
“Very good, Watson.”
“Exactly, my dear Watson!”
“Brilliant, Watson. You are scintillating this morning.”
“Good, Watson, good!”
“You look the same blithe boy as ever!”
“Watson has some remarkable characteristics of his own.”
“Indeed an ideal helpmate.”
“With your natural advantages, Watson, every lady is your helper and accomplice.”
ⓘ You can Bite your Friends.
Sherlock Holmes and the hound with a basketball or something I haven’t read that one
"The most scary part of TMA is the blanket episode- The most scary part of TMA is Jane Prentiss - The most scary part of TMA is the Not! Them creatures -"
Wrong! The most scary part of TMA when you're watching for the first time and realize far too deep in that you really should be have been trying to remember peoples names.
