And Tanaka is very simple and sincere, so people usually like him well enough, so he has a good reputation and a lot of friends.

And when they meet and get to know each other better, Suga is secretly envious of Tanaka's reputation and friends, while Tanaka envious of Suga's looks and grace.

okay jokes aside, I think it’s because Tanaka is half not as popular as any other Karasuno character except the 2nd years background trio. which is a shame really because Tanaka is incredibly fun character to like and create for. (my personal funny story about it is that originally Suga and then Asahi were my fav characters, up untill I started drawing fanarts and realized I LOVE Tanaka and there should be more content with him in the world haha.) 

so yeah, it’s understandable that all Tanaka ships are basically rare pairs. /shrug I’m doing my level best to bring people to light tho lmao. is it working?
