Robotech 30th Anniversary Veritech Fighter VF-1S
A very recent acquisition, I purchased this small guy at my local comic store as my way of getting a little piece of history on the other side of the coin- the coin being the Jetfire/Skyfire conspiracy. HAHA
There is a very long and drawn-out story regarding licensing, branding, and which company owned which rights as to why Jetfire had to be changed in the show, and why there was this other brand called Robotech (earlier Macross) who freely sported the same design. If you would like a detailed history, one can be found here at the TF wiki: (scroll towards the bottom of the page)

VF-1S comes with a load of accessories; 3 sets of hands, additional blast gear, another cockpit, landing gear, blaster, and a nice stand to display him in any mode. He’s also very delicate, so I take my time transforming him. However, he does look mega cool. Admittedly, I know very little about the Robotech story aside from a few toys I had as a child.
