I keep thinking back to the USJ arc where Shigaraki refers to Aizawa as “cool” and with recent developments it got me thinking...

What if AFO and Dr. Ujiko told Shigaraki about a guy they’d found who could turn quirks on and off. Little Shigaraki would have been so excited to be able to fully control his quirk. He would have thought that was amazing.

Then the plan went awry and they got Shirakumo instead of Aizawa.

So, when Shigaraki raided USJ and experienced Aizawa’s Erasure quirk for the first time, he really was like “omg, cool, you’re that guy.”

but also he wouldn’t trade Kurogiri for anyone

So I saw a pic of Kuroo and Kenma from Haikyuu and I was slapped with the realization that they're what ShigaDabi would've been like if they grew up normally and went to school together.
