its just strange feelings and things ykyk (also im not fictionkin myself-so this is seem from an outsiders pov ig)

bit of a messy rant cuz brain barf blob thing:

it feels weird and wrong that ppl are basically kinning with actors bodies,voices,etc ive always wanted to be an actor myself and if anybody kinned with the character i was voicing or acting out as i just kinda see it as '"too much" like..hey thats my voice! thats me! why do you think your me? im me!' for those fictionkin i think more of beyond the character. most actors dont even know about the nonhuman community so what would they think if somebody kinned your self insert? i just sorta think that its weird to kin a (past-present-etc) living thing, and basically a human nonetheless. i cant really ignore and go blindsighted to just the character, i want to think about who created them, voiced them, acted out them n stuff

book fictionkin are okay i guess, im just thinking about how thats basically somebodies oc that they spent time working on and shaping into the plot- even if its a backround character

ive tried to get out as much as i can in answers of things im worried about but ive only got a few secured as most were as toxic as the elephants foot. its strange to me on how oblivious they can be when it comes to the person behind the character, they seem to ignore it and just move on like it isnt a giant problem

(please remember that these are just my own opinions and you can ignore them, we both have different brains and can make humane decisions instead of arguing :P)

*edit: i know kinning is involuntary-im a therian myself and for those who may be insulted by the use of the word 'kinning' due to its backstory, i find it quite helpful as theres not really another world like it that ive found and have sorta taken it under my wing to try and make it a regular word. there have been plenty of words with weird ahh and violent backstories that some ppl use on the regular lolol

heyall! posted this in a discord server recently but i wanna get yalls thoughts >:D me and my friend are making a new server bout clans who live in a coastal forest and so i just wanted to put this poll up to get yalls opinions on names n stuff

theres gonna be about 3 clans but the 3rd one is still in thought so heres some random quick sketches of the other 2:

clan 1: a dried out cove which is shallow with water at times (about ankle-high for reg cats) that has an old half-sunken ship within sand in the middle. it was abandoned by twolegs quite a long time ago when they found this land, the clan was thought to be founded by some of the cats on said ship

clan 2: these cats live on a cliff that overlooks the ocean and rely on the tide and moon to get food and materials such as seabirds to eat and seaweed to make their dens

we also lookin for suggestions for what clan 3 should be about too cuz we practically brainded rn /j

for some lil surrounding info: theres gonna be a coastal town with a fishing biz some cats steal from, an abandoned railroad with an old train thats a popular home for rouges, and some old clan ruins that nobody remembers the name or history of exept for a few elders (;

update: bro like seconds after i posted that the gutter man left anyways story: ma left, told me that a dude fixing out gutters will be at our house nobody has really fixes our house alot and last time (when there was mold and we had to get our WHOLE roof fixed) echo was so terrified but she slowly warmed up to the banging from the ceiling so i thought nothing of it.

but this time ig mikko wanted to cause chaos cuz while me and echo were snuggling and trying to ignore the banging from our thin ahh walls he peed like twice in a row on my carpet and i couldnt rlly do anythin at the time cuz my ma wasnt home-

so i rolled up the carpet and that was bout it i thought it was gonna be peace

territorial ahh crusty mikko comes along and pees on the roll..LIKE DUDE UR SCENT IS STILL NEW ON THERE T_T

uh so yeah i had to sit there while it reeked of dog pee around me then ma came home and totally ignored me and my pee smelling room cuz shes like always late to some sorta zoom meeting and she was mad so i knew not to bother her

i moved the carpet to the laundry room and just sprayed a random scent thing that i thought smelled good + did a wipe down so we okiedokie now i do forgive mikko tho cuz these SpOoKy sTrAngErS are on ur territory makin alot of noise n stuff and he was just tryin to protect us though i still dont understand why he didnt act that way when the roofers came-

anyways i just thought this lil guy would relate to some of yall- remember, as im in a community that all suffers from plenty of things (and i do too), dont be afraid to get help, though therapy is the best option since they are trained for many years. telling your therapist that your a nonhuman and have much pain within your human body will get them to do the proper research and do their best to help you. humans can indeed help nonhumans- and have so many times before.

dont be afraid to ask for therapy either! it took me some years to find the perfect type that fits me- and there are plenty of unique ones with unique people that will make sure you are your most comfortable. it might be scary at first- trust the process. its totally fine to not talk to them for many sessions or sit on the floor! they will be patient for you- to help you. its also totally okay to switch as many times as you want! dont be pressured to stay with a person your supposed to trust when you dont- though it takes time to earn trust so i do recommend atleast 2-3 sessions. think of the first as a warmup!

extra note that might help more people: you might wanna to track new medicine your taking in a writing journal or computer notes! (especially about what your feeling!) i personally find it helpful as i never really saw myself 'changing' when i take medicine. though it will never change you or your personality- medicine is supposed to help and heal you, like a mini therapist for your inner body! :D sometimes you have to take it forever, although other times you can use different ways to treat the problem- dont be afraid to ask if thats an option! i know some people dont like pills- but i bet there is another option or area to practice taking them! tictacs or jellybeans are kinda fun to take as a practice option XDD
