from the top of their lips to the top of their heads they have a sort of sawblade that allows them to burrow into solid rock to avoid getting eaten by predators.

if you ever try to grab one of these things with your bare hands better get some bandaids ready all the way down their spine they have rasor sharp barbs

would probably make a neat sonic the hedgehog series character

The pregnant stingray mystery has been solved

so there was a female stingray in an enclosure with 2 male sharks.

somehow it got pregnant.

did the sharks hybridise or was it a virgin birth?

neither!

stingrays can hold their breath for several minutes.

they can also leap and climb to a small degree.

the stingray escaped its enclosure, entered the male enclosure, had some fun, and then went back home.

You cannot make this up.
