i kinda want Grace’s family to be normal so reader feels more comfortable with them. they show her it’s ok to just be you, you don’t have to be running around doing mafia things all the time to be part of a family. they’re basically readers safe place, where she gets away from her chaotic life.

ok y’all i promise i’ll reply to asks tmrw but rn i just got the funniest idea ever. ok so yk how in HOT TO GO i mentioned readers daddy issues leading her to older men?? imagine one day when she’s being forced to have a family dinner after she’s been take back to the manor, bruce announces they have a guest that’s gonna stay the night and it’s readers inappropriately older bf/ situation ship that’s like Dick’s age almost walks in!! imagine reader is just over the moon, finally after weeks of being cooped up she can finally get some action! as they’re eating dinner everyone’s chatting and all the batfam is suspicious of readers ransoms good mood and think that maybe it’s bc of the food….

that changes when reader casually looks up from her food and casually says “daddy, can you pass me the salt?”

bruce is CHEESING from ear to ear thinking she’s finally beginning to see him as a father figure and looks around for the salt muttering an “of course honey” and blushing out of sheer joy, when he hears a raspy voice say “here you go sweetheart” from across the table.

everyone’s in just utter disbelief and shock. literally no one knows how to react.

bruce is in denial and is still looking for the salt to pass you it, dick’s jaw is nearly on the floor and he looks close to either puking or stabbing readers bf, jason is LIVID, i mean seriously?? in front of his chicken??, tim is disgusted and disappointed, damian is confused because it doesn’t really register what reader meant, duke is also surprisingly mad and the girls don’t know if they should laugh, scold reader, or kill her bf.

meanwhile reader herself can’t believe she just said that and her man is just sitting next to her with the world’s smuggest grin

anyway, safe to say they are NOT getting alone time later!

I just got a random idea w another neglected reader instead they turn yandere instead of the batfam. due to the constant neglect they receive from the batfam they cling onto any sort of praise they receive, becoming affection starved. they start getting really obsessed and creepy over the batfam, straight up having a shrine dedicated to them in their closet. the batfam start getting weirded out and tries to get rid of them by drowning them in a thick black liquid Bruce got from outerspace from one of the adventures in the league. they leave them to drown but instead the alien substance starts infiltrating the readers organs like a parasite, taking hold of readers brain and spurring on their yandere tendencies. they're like little tiny voices in their head, draining readers life force as they crawl out of the massive vat, grinning like a madman and vowing to capture the batfam and plague their existences for their entire lives. kindve like an eldritch horror and venom combined. reports of this mysterious creature pop up from left and right, leaving the batfam perplexed. they notice shadows moving around them, black inky tendrils clinging onto their capes and soot coating their boots. reader lies waiting in the dark, ready to snatch up their prey.

Ngl I got this idea when I was listening to kikuo songs and their songs fit so well w any neglected reader. Especially their song named "You are a useless child." it's about two people, the parent and the child. The lyrics (they're in Japanese) in the first two choruses talk about how useless of a child they are,

"You are a useless, useless, useless child,

the most useless child in the world."

but when the child disappears in the music video after being bullied by them endlessly, the chorus changes to "I am a worthless child." and the singer starts demeaning themselves for letting them go. I just feel like it fits IBLD so well. 🫠

hey is 🚚 again sorry about the whole flu thing, I think everyone in my house is starting to catch it too.

there’s this story I’m fond of, and i will go one for way to long if I add details ( I already rewrote this ask twice lol) but it’s called I just want to freeload on your luck.

And near the end of the story, the antagonist(who is the adopted child) basically mocks the mc’s family because they actively neglected mc and they barely had to do any manipulation for them to treat her that way.

I feel like Tiffany would be similar, as of now, we don’t know much about her other than that 1-she’s a spy and 2- she’s been bullying reader for years now.

but when the batfam starts to hate her she probably won’t give a damn, maybe she’ll even throw everything they’ve done ( or rather didn’t do) back in their face.

they already caused 11 years worth of damage, so where do they get off acting like she’s the monster?

at least she knew what she was doing.

I’m still trying to speculate what her goal is if she couldn’t keep up the facade for long without stealing reader’s achievements - did she think that reader would put up with her nonsense forever?

Is she trying to be reader because she (mistakenly) thinks that the nice treatment she’s getting now is what reader was getting all this time?

Or is she that much of a sadist and wanted to make her even more unhappy?

I guess we’re going to have to wait to see

( while it’s probably a bit different there are these nasal sprays that you can use to prevent a cold before it gets worse, I felt one coming down yesterday and I used some so that might help if you get sick again! :) )

(also also reader doing their nails or wearing nail rings/guards (like Aki from street fighter) to administer venom would be neat!)

The thing is the batfam won't just hate her, some of them will actively be trying to hurt Tiffany. Tiffany is a very malicious character but part of the reason she tries so hard to mirror reader is because of her own insecurities. Before reader got bitten by the snake, Tiffany might've been able to keep stealing her things and bullying her because reader was so insecure that she could never really stand up to Tiffany. Tiffany is a spy so her goal is to infiltrate the batfamily and basically steal their secrets for as long as possible. She really does get off on making the reader suffer as a little side quest though. I was thinking more along the lines of reader having acrylic nails that somehow release venom tbh.
