to live a life where one may live out their days freely, unfettered by the chains of war and the imminent threat of possession... to be able to awaken each day, not ambivalent and apathetic, but with a pep to one's step like that you would see in the movies; a desire to press forward rather than merely float aimlessly through existence without care for a single thing in the world...
what might that be like?
