i have a love and hate relationship with poetry. its so pretty but i find it so hard to write, but i want to be a poet so bad. I want someone to come up to me and ask me what i do and i can positively say "oh yeah, im a poet, man"

I tell people I’m into The Beatles and they think I mean it in an “I wanna hold your hand” kinda way or a “come together” kinda way but what they don’t know is that I’m actually tortured by them, like virulently afflicted with their melody and harmony and mythology and queerness

That out of all the Beatles, Bob Dylan was himself and cheerful around George?

That Olivia refered to them as soulmates? Kinda romantic in a sense??

That Bob didn't collab often nor let people get close to him but George somehow managed to get close to him?

That Bob held George at such high regard and vice-versa?

That somebody reassured Pattie that Bob would never let George down when Bob was a no-show on the Bangladesh rehersals? And then despite his anxiousness and fear Bob went?

That George wrote a song that pleaded Bob to let him into his heart and that Bob reciprocated by saying "all i have is yours/ i'd have you anytime"

That George gifted Bob a guitar and Bob used it as an album cover?

That Bob found comfort and reassurance in George?

That they would attend events and parties together? Basically inseparable?

i see pictures like this and i’m reminded that they were just four guys. four friends. they had inside jokes that no one else in the world understands or even knows about. they have stories that are kept secret, memories that are legends. they probably teased eachother over their sleeping habits or if their socks smelled. they laughed until they cried and knew each others favorite holidays and pet peeves.

they were the biggest band in the world, yes, but they were really just four guys. four friends who miraculously fell into the positions they were in.
