Honestly tho, I never thought that there was anything wrong about it- but now that y'all mention it.... It's really weird. Tho to be honest, in 4th grade i was in a 4/5 combo class and more often than not my teacher (who was rather amazing) would forget and just say "we'll just do it later" then never did XD

I don’t know it’s used elsewhere, but the UK has a gender neutral Mx (”Mix”) so they’d use that. In general, if they can, they use gender neutral terms like ‘person’, ‘partner’, ‘spouse’, etc. similar to Asra
