imagine being a gavinners fan from like wisconsin or some other place like that. vermont idk and they announce a world tour, so you buy tickets for the nearest location. and they start off in LA, their home city, makes sense.

but then you get an email that says NEVERMIND and you get an immediate refund on cashapp. and you look it up and apparently someone was fucking shot at the first concert and klavgav got set on fire and the bassist went to jail for drug smuggling and murder charges. and now they’re announcing a breakup. what do you even do with that fucking onslaught of information

Able bodied parents I'm begging you to teach your kids about disabled people. Not just because they could become disabled themselves one day but also because even if they don't, they have a very real chance of being rude to us if you don't teach them.

Yes, kids just say shit. They have no filter. That doesn't make it any less humiliating when your child sits near me on the bus and incessantly grills me on why I have a stick when I'm not old. Or laughs at us for things our disability causes. It doesn't take away the hurt when they bully a disabled classmate. For a large part these things could be avoided if you just taught your kids to respect us. It's really not that hard.

(i will no longer say her name because it will get her more attention and it is disrespectful to keep saying the abuser's name whenever you mention the victim.) anyways, also a reminder that narcissistic abuse is REAL. It may or may not be what JD went through, BUT IT IS REAL. Plus he won his case on world narcissistic abuse awareness day, so the world was able to acknowledge it!! This is not a hate post for people with NPD as they do have struggles too, but there are many with that disorder who abuse people and claim to be the victim, much like the defendant did. anyone who doesn't believe that narcissistic abuse is real and/or supports the defendant, please go fuck yourself and do not interact with my account.
