@allnostalgic plotted for a starter
It was a dark and cold night, it would have been much more miserable if not for the clear sky that smiled down at the earth. A million stars shining in the sky and the moon glowing above.
And amongst the chill there had been a gentle voice on the wind, a wish and it summoned something most remarkable.
A warm and hopeful glow crossed the sky, illuminating the dark with yellow light and it came closer and closer and then -
It span madly around the boy, spinning wildly and shooting around with vigour and magic in its wake...

Star seemed VERY glad that the girl seemed happy to see him, watching her wide eyes take him in and all the stardust that sprinkled off his shoulders.
An answer to her question came with a proud nod, arms crossed as he floated back down to the earth, standing (a little awkwardly) on the spot with a big smile.
Then he tilted his head at her and pointed at her as if asking a question himself.
Upon the brilliant light bursting into a familiar figure, presenting itself as a mere boy, Jade gasps in her astonishment. Not at all frightened or frazzled; just amazed. Considering that magic had been sealed away on her island for over a hundred years, this was the first time Jade had witnessed anything like it.
❝WHAT?❞ she breathes out, her smile wide as she steps closer to him. Her hands were clasped together in front of her as she inspects him, wide-eyed. ❝Was that magic? Are YOU magic?❞ Jade had so many questions; wanted to know everything. If he was magical, how was that even possible?
Nightlight couldn't believe his eyes-- which was saying something, considering all the wonders the Guardian had beheld in his days. The Spectral Boy flickered curiously, floating around the Star Boy a few times, spiraling upward and looking at him from all angles, even upside-down. JUST to make sure he was seeing this correctly.
Excitement bubbled up inside him as he flickered again, this time in delight.
"A star boy! You're--- like me!" For in truth, they were both made of star stuff.
Star seemed JUST as curious over this bluer, less brighter star than he. More subdued and yet just as glowy as he. As the other boy circled him, a chiming noise that sounded similar to a laugh echoed from the boy's very form and he floated up beside Nightlight and then leaned VERY close to the other's face.
He blinked a few times, but a BIG grin crossed his face and he clapped his hands together, nodding frantically in agreement before booping Night on the nose with a little flash of yellow light.
Without further ado, lets get this party started.

(Sentences for muses meeting for the first time. Adjust phrasing where needed)
"I'm beginning to find you quite interesting."
"I'm not going to have this conversation, least of all with someone I don't even know."
"How do you know where I live?"
"Who are you and why are you being so aggressive with me?"
"Do you always make this good of a first impression?"
"You don't say much, do you?"
"Oh good, I'm not the only one who's late!"
"I don't trust you. I can't trust you. I don't know who you are or where you come from."
"You have an interesting accent. Where are you from exactly?"
"Perhaps you'd like to know my name?"
"I got here by accident. How did you get here?"
"You're pretty cute, you know that?"
"Is small talk a way you deal with your anxiety?"
"It occurs to me that I don't know the first thing about you."
"I've been warned to watch out for women like you."
"Seeing as you let yourself in, forgive me if it's forwards to ask, but who the hell are you?"
"Who are you to tell me what to do?"
"You don't know me. You only know of me."
"How do you know that name? I haven't used that name in years!"
"Oh, hello! I know you, don't I?"
"You know, it is a little bit strange that we hardly know each other, right?"
"Hey, I immediately don't like you."
"I don't think we've ever been alone in a room together, have we?"
"Odd as it may seem, I don't feel you to be a stranger."
"I think your name is beautiful."
"You know that feeling you have that we've met before? It's the same with me."
"I was hoping we could talk a little business. Would you like some tea?"
"I'm not sure we've ever properly met."
"I didn't want us to meet like this."
"I hear you've been looking for me. I'm flattered."
"Hello! I love your work!"
"I have the strangest sense we've met before. Do you think that's possible? In another lifetime?"
"What are you doing sitting here all by yourself?"
"I've heard so much about you that I feel I almost know you."
"If you know so much about me, then perhaps you would like to say who you are?"
