My brain anytime i get a project and am not made to do it right then and there:

“Okay two options, Do it now and get less stress and more time for fun stuff OR do later and get more stress and less to no time for fun stuff”

Me: I’m definitely doing the first option! Sounds good!

(All time but the last day or minute procrastinated later while constantly reminding myself and at same time forgetting to do thing)

I can see this happening in like the evening Jane gets home from school and Bert turns to Cec and goes “oh right! It’s night time, we’d have to break in! Let’s wait till the morning!”

*after Bert hears Jane is being bullied*

Bert: Where does this guy live?

Cec: Bert, we’re not going to beat up a little kid.

Bert: Why not?

Advice for pet owners from an RVT

- Please be honest with us. We aren't going to report you to the police because your dog got into your stash. We need to know if your cat's wound happened two days ago or two hours ago. Just tell us what happened.

- VACCINATE YOUR PETS. We don't care about your stances on human vaccines. Your pets NEED theirs. Parvo is one of the worst things a puppy can get, it has a high mortality rate, and it's prevented by vaccinating. Distemper and Rabies are INCURABLE, and ONLY prevented by vaccines. Vaccinate your pets, even if they are indoor only.

- Your dog is not a wolf. It does not need a grain-free diet. Dogs have evolved to digest carbs and grains alongside us. Grain-free diets have been linked to causing a heart condition called DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy) and we are seeing more and more cases of it in younger and younger dogs. My clinic personally had 3 cases in the last two weeks, and it is a horrible thing to see.

- Spay and neuter your pets if you aren't going to breed them. If you are, do NOT breed before they're at least 1.5 years old. Two years is better.

- Besides altering your pet, leave the rest of their body parts alone. Your dog prefers having their ears and tail. Your cat needs their claws. Declawing is cruel and banned in many places, and ear cropping/tail docking isn't far behind.

- STOP LISTENING TO YOUR BREEDER INSTEAD OF YOUR VET.

- Retractable leashes are literally garbage and should be banned.

- Keep your pet on a leash or in a carrier when you bring them to the clinic! Do not carry your angry cat inside in your arms!!

- Cats do not do things out of spite. Your cat does not pee outside of the litter because it's angry. It's probably stressed, or is having urinary issues.

- Stop being rude to the vet staff. We have one of the highest suicide rates of any profession, and it's only getting worse. We have enough to deal with without you reaming us out because Fluffy needs their nails trimmed TODAY and we're booked up for 3 weeks.

- Stop scruffing your cats. Its an outdated form of restraint and it is physically painful.

- Train your dogs. Bad behaviours are 90% boredom and bad habits. Spend time with your dogs.

- Again. Please be nice to the vet staff. We're doing our best to help your pets. We're overworked, exhausted, underpaid and underappreciated. We are tired. Be gentle and be kind.

- IF YOUR PET BITES, JUST TELL ME IT DOES. I WILL NOT JUDGE YOU. I JUST WANT TO NOT GET BIT.

WALLEVE Movie Night headcanons

- When WALL-E found out more than one movie existed, his mind was in a state 1000 times more overblown than the standard “Mind-blown” response. 

- His iPod doesn’t work with most movies, but they can use the big computer in the building attached to EVE’s greenhouse to watch nearly any movie that’s ever been released digitally (see my fanfic “EVE’s New Directive” if you want to know more about the greenhouse. Okay shameless plug over :D)

- If WALL-E is picking a movie, he just reads the summary and goes “This one”. Conversely, EVE looks up the film to see how much box office it made or if the reviews are passable (she tries to act professional about it, but she actually relies on old social media responses)

- Of course, WALL-E adores older musicals. EVE found a pile made by anyone related remotely to Hello, Dolly-which led to the discovery of gems such as Singin’ in the Rain.

- He’s tried to reenact his favourite scenes before, and EVE LOVES that.

- EVE’s more of a Skydance movie person (Skydance is the studio behind the action scenes in recent Mission Impossible films and Top Gun: Maverick). She really gets into the action sequences and because of this, finds it a little hard to watch older action films as their pacing is rather slow.

- If watching a movie in EVE’s vein, WALL-E gets into the human subplots, no matter how badly written they are. EVE finds this adorable.

- EVE also likes watching horror movies ironically. WALL-E knows those films aren’t real, but the jumpscares can make him collapse back into cube form (even if he expected them). If this gets too bad EVE pauses and they just cuddle for a bit.

- WALL-E has no self-restraint and will watch seven seasons of a show in a day if he gets started.

- WALL-E also wants nothing but the happiest endings for the characters, and can’t help but feel a bit sad if an ending doesn’t end like that.

- Occasionally, if he’s really torn up about it, EVE would look around for a fix-it fic or a fan ending just to put it at risk. This is a task reserved for the most dire of situations, as EVE gets curious and sometimes accidentally pokes around in a fanfic that’s not exactly what she’s looking for.

- During the most romantic moments, they can be seen subconsciously holding hands again.

- Hal tends to sit in EVE’s bowl instead of WALL-E’s shoulder after one incident where WALL-E got jumpscared and accidentally squished Hal when retracting his head.

- There’s been talk of making WALL-E and EVE’s story into a movie, but everyone’s waiting for the technology to be restored and for the right person with the right vision to develop it. Both WALL-E and EVE are rather enthusiastic to play their own parts, alongside most of the other robots.

In Mary Poppins, theres a line in the song "Step in Time" that confuses me. Mrs Brill goes "They're at it again" before hitting the sweeps with a pan or something.

Why are we not told more about the last time this happened?

Was it the same house and the same sweeps?

It's like this in any of the full lyrics I can find.

I would love to read/be able to write a M*A*S*H fanfic where Margaret meets Charles on one of her many trips to Tokyo for R&R, they get together and she has to hide it from Frank why she’s constantly going to Tokyo. And what happens when Frank leaves and Charles is assigned to the 4077th? Maybe he comes earlier and they have to avoid Frank’s constant “secret” visits to Margaret? Just really want some Margaret/Charles with some Frank interaction!!
