This is a little something I made for the moderation team at the Tangled Discord! @glowamber, myself, @ajoyfultrashcollection, @1a-lchemist, @aquaquadrant, @becauseimrichandican, @midnightsdarkangel, @crimsontoska, @alchemicalvariable, and @manikhan2001 and of COURSE the one who brought it all together @vikingmera (there are a couple others who are currently inactive for life stuff and they’ll get added later!!!)

I really wanted to showcase our individual strengths and personalities as well as show that we are lighthearted and poke fun at ourselves (and eachother) a lot! We’re kinda like a little family!

Additionally I’d like to add how honored I am every day to work with these fantastic people. You might not expect it, but it’s sometimes a very difficult job moderating a server so large especially when you have actual Tangled the Series crew members who pop in from time to time! Our team works together effortlessly and has nothing but love and compassion for one another and everything we do for the server. It’s a tough job moderating, and we don’t get paid, but it’s definitely not a thankless job. Bringing young fans (and older fans alike) a safe and well moderated space where they can discuss Tangled the Series and sometimes interact with crew members is probably the best thanks that we can ever get!  

Thank you guys for being so awesome and thanks to every member of the discord server for helping us maintain such a fun little community.

Can I give a huge high five and a hug to the Varian fans?

My closest friends in this fandom are Varian fans and I know how much y'all miss him and what you have all been through. Though I am mainly a New Dream and Eugene fan, I also consider myself a very big fan of Varian and this wait hasn't been that easy for me. And i know its been way harder for you guys. You have been waiting over a year and have gotten absolutely nothing, and a lot of you guys have gone through so much hate over the past year, and that a lot of your theories or opinions aren't taken very seriously. I'm so proud of the Varian fans who stayed in the fandom despite any hate you have gotten and didn't retaliate or give back any hate you have gotten from people and kept loving the character you love despite all the dumb fandom drama. You are valid, you are allowed to watch the show how you want, enjoy the characters you enjoy. And I hope that on October 7th, that you guys watch the new season premiere and get to see him and think the wait was all worth it! Cause heck I am excited to see him again and I already know I'm gonna scream and freak out when he comes back, and I know y'all love him even more then I do! I miss that lil stinker and he means a lot to me because I've made so many friends because of him and I love the Varian fans.

I'm very proud of you all!!! And I'm glad to tell you that there is an end in sight.

Why Varian should have been there + Possible alternate plot

The season 2 finale has left the fandom in a rather divisive state. Some loved it, some hated it, and the small minority that is neutral about the whole thing. Both sides are of course valid, whatever their reasoning may be for their opinion and there’s sound arguments from both sides.

For those of you who enjoyed the finale, I’m not here to rain on your parade, and I really wish I could join you in that, but there’s a few things that bothered me and many others, both in and out of the show.

While I can’t control what the crew says or thinks, I can at least look at the series and find a solution to the things that a lot of us did not enjoy, and I feel like it all boils down to one key factor.

Varian should have been there. Warning for spoilers and some unpopular opinions.

This is my Tangled OC, Clarissa! She’s a young girl that lives with her family in Corona! Clarissa is an optimistic, yet slightly shy girl who aspires to be a well-known baker. She also wishes to travel the world someday to see the lands beyond the Kingdom of Corona.

She plays a part in some stories that I’m working on, where she’s Varian’s childhood friend (girlfriend later)!💕 Clarissa starts out as a pretty obedient and innocent girl that follows all rules set by her parents and the law. But when her childhood friend Varian goes over to the dark side, she goes to great lengths to help him become a better person and discover his (and her) destiny by travelling to unknown lands, on a quest to save Varian’s father.

Apparently its Eugene appreciation week​, so good time to finish this au I’ve been thinking about forever

Au where Eugene stumbles upon the tower when they’re both a lot younger. Eugene is only a little hoodlum at this point, just starting his Flynn Rider legacy, and Rapunzel is still a child with full faith in her mothers words and no teen antsy-ness. Despite befriending Eugene, she refuses to leave the tower, so instead he visits her when Gothel is away and he brings her little gifts he thinks she’d like (that he stole because he’s an urchin)

Some more Strive fanart I’ve been wanting to do. I’ve had the ‘constellation wings’ idea for a while now but haven’t thought of how to implement them until now. A lot of chromatic aberration and motion blur later, got me to these two results. Take them before I decide it needs more experimental tweaks.
